The Training using a simulator comes into the spotlight as effective and safety training tool in a lot of fields. Driving simulator of KTX-II is for driver's actual training using virtual reality to be improved their ability of operation against when they are faced with urgent situation and various accidents. This paper describes the construction of the propulsion and brake model for KTX-II driving simulator and the utility of the model as a result in comparison with the design data of the real train.

In Soft ground of south-western coast of our country necessity of marine indutrial complex and container facility has been remarkable. Site construction for habor facility is one of the most urgent problems. Consolidation of dredged fill has become important task. In addition, volume change of dredged fill should be examined carefully. This study dealt with consolidation of dredged fill by PCDDF and in order to secure trafficability of heavy equipment for surface treatment should be studied.

Consumers require various quality characteristics including safety. The reduction of risk concerned on product safety becomes urgent issue in leading companies. The strategy for customer satisfaction by choosing attractive quality characteristic is not enough for risk reduction in view of producer. This paper presents a method for choosing quality characteristics and risk characteristics by integrating QFD based on quality requirements and AHP based on safety requirements, also shows its application for complex equipment.

The governance structure of corporate is very important to raise the nation's economic efficiency and the operation result of firm. However, the innovation of corporate governance structure is a important problem to improve international confidence in our country, since most large corporate in our country has a promodern governance structure to be influenced in decision making of corporate group by minority governance-shareholder. Therefore, in our country the improvement of corporate governance structure is very urgent. This study examine the improvement device of corporate governance structure to be introduced in our country, and present the improvement direction to be suitable to our country's economic circumstance.

A series of the experimental study were peformed to evaluate engineering properties of geobag which is used to the urgent restoration of the failed roadbed. In this study, the suitable geobag size was proposed to the 44cm wide by 66cm long and the suitable filling ratio of geobag was proposed to the 80% based on the loading test. Also a series of the model test were carried out to investigate the characteristics of strain behavior and the distribution of earth pressure of the geobags roadbed.

This study evaluates the problems with various aspects of Korean mail carrier uniforms. It is sponsored by the as part of a 2002 research project. This research project is 'A study on mail collection and delivery environment based on ergonomics'. One of the most urgent tasks to create a better work environment is improvement of mail carrier uniforms. Improved uniforms will result in improved job performance and satisfaction.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the development strategy for the Hub of Northeast Asia. Those countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China competing us are trying to concentrate on their core capacity. Based on the severe competition surrounding us, we are confronting with a transitional period to upgrade competitiveness. It is acknowledged that the building of economic hub of Northeast Asia is essential to become an advanced country. Therefore, it is becoming an urgent task that Korean government should formulate the development strategy of building efficient transportation network, economic special zone and financial hub.

Many countries around the world have actively used biogas to reduce greenhouse gases in order to improve the environment. Recently, South Korea has invested a lot of money in technology development for organic waste and expanded the policy to supply renewable energy. The use of biogas would also increase our country's energy security. Therefore, I would suggest that our government adopt the relevant laws and systems regarding biogas in the near future.

Recently, due to the increase of 220V distribution lines and equipments preventive measures to cope with several kinds of electric accidents is revealed as an urgent problem. This study investigates the following matters; the cause and present condition of e1ectric shock accident, the influence of electric shock on human body, the safety limit of electric shock, the method of distribution voltage, the insulation of electrical load apparatus, the teachnics of electric shock prevention and foreign materials concerned with this subject etc. This paper present the fundamental cause of electric shock and syntbetic preventive counter measure of electric shock, too.
