This paper involves a study of developing the production scheduling system in a general job shop type mechanical factory. We consider realistic situations in the job-shop environments, such as alternative machines for operation, the new kinds of processes, the machining center with the plural pallet, the operational situation of each machine during the scheduling period, occurings of urgent orders and machine breakdowns. We also propose the methodology of re-schedule. It is very fast and acceptable for real time production control system. These all functions are implemented on IBM PC and program source is written in PASCAL language.

As is widely accepted, port development has a significant impact on the regional economy. In view of the far-reaching effects and diversity, understanding its concrete substance is easier said than done. The need for a systematic approach to this subject is very urgent. This study aims at grasping a various fields that port development encompasses, as practical as possible. Therefore, this article describes the basic economic impact and characteristics of port development and explores the implications for regional economy.

Establishment of a diagnosing technology for the deterioration of reinforced concrete structures due to salt contamination is urgent, but few analytical methods based on measured data obtained from concrete structures have been presented so far. Chloride penetration into concrete from sea water is generally understood and analysed as diffusion of chloride ion. This paper presents a new method of predicting chloride penetration into concrete based on diffusion theory. Also, it determines the duralility of Marine structure in service with the prediction of remaiing lifetime by the carvonation test.

Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) has been very popular in unattended surveillance systems recently. For Applying WSN into Building Automation system(BAS), a novel hierarchial network structure and static routing algorithm which eliminates the scalability limitation of Zigbee are proposed in this paper. The static routing algorithm relying on the hierarchial network address reduces the computational complexity to a great extent and has a real-time performance which satisfies urgent applications well.

This survey on marketed Kimchi was performed in 455 housewives living in daegu city area and investigated for marketablity and quality improvement of Kimchi. The results obtained as follows : 1. Subjects percepted marketed Kimchi as convenient and economical. 2. The proportion of subjects who has bought the marketed Kimchi products was 68.6%, some factors-ages, academic career, income, family system-were investigated. 3. Subjects bought the needed amount for 1-2days at hygienic store, by one's experiences and prefered Baechu-Kimchi 4. The most urgent improvement for the marketed Kimchi is it's standardization.

Urgent increasing of the vehicles influence air pollution and the damage of the plants and animals. Particularly, exhaust-ing particulate of diesel vehicles give serious effect to human life. Therefore, this study aim to reduce amount of particulate and to contribute developing after-treatment in diesel engine. Through the experimental and theoretical study about charac-teristics of the electric heat regeneration, various results are obtained.

With the rapid growth of network distributions of digitized media(audio, image, and video), there is an urgent need for copyright protection. For now watermarking is a well-known technique for copyright protection of digital data. To embed a digital watermark to the image, discrete cosine transform(DCT) and wavelet transform are commonly used. In this paper, the performance of the DCT based watermarking technique and wavelet based watermarking technique were compared and the influences of the parameter a that decides the strength of the watermarking data were considered.

illegal medical advertisement have been on the rise, and false and exaggerated medical advertising are increasing the damage to medical consumers. Therefore it is urgent to take countermeasures about this. Thus, this paper try to analyzes the characteristics of general commercial and other medical advertisements and looks for alternatives that can minimize the damage caused by illegal medical advertisements and institutional weaknesses by analyzing the regulatory trends in medical advertising.

The biggest challenge bridge agencies face is the maintenance of bridges, keeping them safe and serviceable, with limited funds. To maintain the bridges effectively, there is and urgent need to predict their remaining life from a system reliability viewpoint. In this paper, a model using lifetime functions to evaluate the overall system probability of survival of a rail road bridge is proposed. In this model, the rail load bridge is modeled as a system. Using the model, the lifetime of the rail road bridge is predicted.

Fusion technology is a key to maximize innovative potential of geoscience for many challenging issues today that require integrated multi-disciplinary approach. Successful fusion technological advance can be achieved when interdisciplinary cooperation is firmly established. In order to establish firm the context of inter-disciplinarity that is still feeble, it is urgent to continuously develop geoscientific models and systematic infra for interdisciplinary cooperation such as well-prepared geo-spatial database and knowledge base network that can support multi-lateral cooperation between multiple disciplines and multi-phase international cooperation.
