도시철도용 몰드변압기 상태감시를 위한 사례조사 연구 (A case study of condition monitoring for mold transformers on urban railway transit)

  • Since urban railway transit is one of the most essential transportation systems, its power facilities must ensure high reliability and safety. Currently, urban railway operating organizations perform TBM (Time Based Maintenance) on power facilities. However, in order to improve management efficiency and system safety, CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) is preferred. Among various power facilities, mold transformers has been chosen as the object of study since it is widely used for the purpose of minimizing volume and weight, and due to safety against fire. In this paper, various transformer failure cases due to electric, thermal, mechanical and environmental factors have been collected and analyzed. In addition, investigation on national and international condition based maintenance cases and the characteristics of sensors widely used for transformer monitoring has been performed to suggest the optimal condition based maintenance technique for urban railway systems.

  • 도시철도역은 역사의 위치 및 기능에 따라 해당역의 이용객 수, 첨두집중률, 승강장 형태 등이 상이하고 이용행태도 서로 달라 이러한 특성을 고려한 역사 유형 구분이 필요하다. 그러나 현재 도시철도역사 유형은 각 연구의 목적에 따라 분류하고 있으며, 법적 기준 또한 단순히 보통역, 간이역으로 구분하고 있고, 열차유형, 승강장 형태, 설치 형태에 따라 분류하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도시철도의 역사 유형을 분류하기 위한 기준을 정립하고, 그 기준에 따라 수도권의 모든 도시철도역사에 대한 전수조사를 수행하며, 이를 데이터베이스화하여 향후 다양한 정책 수립 및 연구개발에 활용하고자 하는 데에 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시철도역사 조사 자료를 활용하여 다양한 통계적 분석을 통해 역사의 물리적 지리적 특성과 이용자의 통행 패턴간에 서로 상관관계가 있음을 밝혀내었고, 상대적인 통계값을 이용하여 정책수립 및 연구 개발에 반영한다면 향후에 그 활용성이 더욱 클 것으로 기대된다.

  • 도시철도 역사의 안전사고는 사고 당사자에게 피해를 주는 것에 그치지 않고 대중교통 이용을 기피하는 원인이 되기도 한다. 본 논문은 도시철도 역사에서 발생하는 안전사고를 감소시키고 이를 근본적으로 예방하기 위해 도시철도 역사 설계 시 고려해야 할 디자인 요소를 도출하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 특히 최근 새로이 등장하고 있는 모든 사람을 위한 디자인, 즉 유니버설디자인 관점에서 도시철도 역사의 안전을 위해 역사 설계 시 고려해야 할 요소를 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 도시철도 역사에서 발생하는 안전사고를 유형별로 분류하여 위험도를 분석하고 사고 원인을 분석하였다. 이를 통해, 도시철도 역사에서 발생하는 안전사고와 관계가 높은 요소를 도출하고, 이를 유니버설디자인 관점에서 그 중요도를 고려하여 디자인 요소를 도출하였다. 본 연구 결과는 도시철도 역사의 개량 및 설계 시 안전사고를 최소화 하고 예방할 수 있는 디자인을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Purpose: The number of the transportation poor has been steadily increased, and also the social perspective toward the disabled has been changed. Thus, Universal Design has been needed. In particular, the unknown majority of the transportation poor have frequently used the urban railway facilities which should reflect the ideals and principles of Universal Design. However, previous research has not focused on the study on critical factors of Universal Design. Based on this observation, the present study aims to find out Universal Design critical factors of urban railway station. Methods: This study explores the criteria of planning Universal Design in the urban railway station by analyzing and comparing the similar criteria used in both domestic areas and foreign countries. Result: Findings from this study are as follows. First, we found out the critical factors of Universal Design in the urban railway station by comparing and analyzing the similar criteria previously used. Second, this study also suggests the better directions toward the domestic criteria relating to the urban railway system. Third, we found the need of the universal standard as well as individually corresponding strategy. Moreover, we found the need of preparing the critical factors for the physical environments as well as the human service. Implications: The further research on findings of the planning criteria will have been continued on the basis of findings of the present study.

  • Urban rail transit brings the benefits of various aspects of society. With the advent of fast and large trains, however, risk and scale of accidents have increased. Despite the fact that there is various safety features built into the modern metros, train faults happen from time to time. Especially, as urban railway vehicles in Korea have become deterioration rapidly, more advanced diagnosis methods are required to prevent various accidents. In this paper, we present diagnosis method for electrical wires to guarantee secure driving and authenticity more accurately in urban railway vehicles. Although there are kinds of conventional methods based on insulation resistance measurement and withstand test, it is extremely difficult to effectively diagnose obsolete equipments such as electrical wires and cables not new ones. This study is focused on development of diagnosis method and establishment of evaluation standard for electrical wires in urban railway vehicles.

  • 본 논문은 서울교통공사 및 한국철도공사의 기관사를 대상으로 인적오류 위험요인과 관련 경험빈도에 대한 설문을 수행하여 기관별 운행시스템과 호선별 운행시스템 관점에서 오류유발 요인을 분석하였다. 도시철도 사고유발의 근본적인 원인 제거와 감소를 목적으로 하며 도시철도를 운영하는 시스템에서 발생하는 인적오류는 사고발생의 종류와 상황에 따라 대처하는 문제와 인지적 문제를 포함하고 있기 때문에 요인별 관점에서의 연구를 기반으로 접근하고자 한다. 인적오류를 감소시키는데 기여하여 도시철도 사고를 저감 하고 지속적으로 안전한 철도 운행이 될 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

  • This paper discusses the development of a generic train operation model from a set of Korean Urban Transit Regulations such as Regulation for Train Operation of Urban Transit, Regulation for Safety Requirements of Urban Transit and so on. It is to communicate with various stakeholders on urban transit system, and to elicit copious requirements in performance of the urban transit train operation based on the model.

  • Purpose : As the number of the transportation poor has increased, the application of Universal Design on urban railway station has recently been focused. However, the current criteria used in domestic areas did not show the characteristic of facilities within urban railway station. Therefore, this study aims to explore the detailed criteria in applying ideas from Universal Design to sanitary facilities, especially toilets within railway station. Method : This study explores the criteria by evaluating findings from previous studies. First, the current situation of sanitary facilities in railway station is assessed. Then, the detailed criteria applicable to railway station toilets are concluded, by reviewing types of transportation poor and principles of Universal Design. Result : Findings from this study are as follows. First, the current criteria applied to railway station toilets lack ideas of Universal Design, so the better criteria applicable to sanitary facilities in railway station are necessary. Second, standard criteria used in domestic areas with newly additional criteria suggest that sanitary facilities should be established according to those criteria. Taken together, the better sanitary facilities should be provided to railway users through the application of Universal Design to railway station toilets. Implication : For the future users in railway station toilets, the additional research on types of diverse space and other sanitary facilities within railway station should have been continued.

  • Urban railway signaling system is for train operation with safety in the urban crowded area, that has been increasing the demand of use of advanced train control systems with safe. European Commission is supporting the UGTMS(Urban Guided Transport Management System) project for the research and development. The main objective of UGTMS is to provide the European urban guided transport sector (comprising metro, tram and light rail systems) with a common Management System. A key topic is the extent to which the specifications for the successful ERTMS(European Rail Transport Management System) can be adapted to UGTMS needs. Beyond this, it is necessary to define the relevant functional and system requirements for all types of urban guided transport management systems in order to improve interoperability and intermodality. Also to be explored are the prospects for open system standards. In this article, we look into the trend of the standardization through the UGTMS project in Europe and consider any benefit to the project of the standardization for the urban railway signaling system in Korea.

  • Universal Design involves designing products and spaces so that they can be used by the widest range of people possible. Universal Design evolved from Accessible Design, a design process that addresses the needs of people with disabilities. This paper introduces the universal design concept through analysis of causes of railway accident within the urban railway station. Railway accident analysis was performed by the internal facilities. We analyzed the standard of accident type, accident cause and accident subject such as elevator, escalator, stairs etc.
