무인항공기 체계의 고장이력관리장비에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fault History Management Equipment of Unmanned Aerial Systems)

  • 본 논문은 무인항공기 체계(UAS; Unmanned Aerial Systems)의 고장이력관리장비(FHME; Fault History Management Equipment)에 관한 연구를 다룬다. 무인항공기 체계는 비행안전을 위하여 고신뢰성 설계를 기반으로 다양한 전자장비를 탑재하고 있으며, 이에 따른 신속한 고장탐지가 필요하여 각 탑재장비는 BIT(Built-In-Test) 기능을 보유한다. 이러한 BIT 정보를 지상에서 시현, 저장, 관리가 가능하도록 하기 위하여 고장이력관리장비를 개발하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 고장이력관리장비의 개요 및 개발 요구사항, 설계 결과, 검증 시험 결과에 대해 기술한다.

고중량물 운반을 위한 근력보조장치 개발 및 군 적합성 연구 (Development of Muscle-Strength-Assistant Device and Military Suitability for High-Weight Carrying)

  • In this research, we developed the muscle-strength-assistant device, named as LEXO-W, and conducted suitability test for army when transporting high weights. LEXO-W relieves the burden when carrying heavy weights by distributing the load concentrated on the arms throughout the body. LEXO-W weighs 4 kg and is designed to handle objects weighing up to 55 kg. To verify the effectiveness of the device, object handling tests (high explosive shell, simple assembly bridges, and ammunition boxes) were conducted. Working time, metabolic rate, and electromyogram (EMG) signals were measured in each test. As a result, it was confirmed that the working time, metabolic rate and EMG signal before and after wearing LEXO-W were decreased. This research has great significance in that it verified the performance of the wearable device from the perspective of military operation.

우편물량 규모에 따른 운영비용 기준의 무인화 대상우체국 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Site Selection of Unmanned Post Office Considering the Operation Cost by the Mail Volume)

  • Recently, ordinary mail is decreasing continuously by the development of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) including E-mail, messenger service, and etc. On the contrary, parcel post is increasing by the increase of online shopping, home shopping, and etc. Aside from these changes, the demand for various mail acceptance and delivery means is increasing with the increase of single households and dual-income couples. To overcome these environmental changes, Korea Post installs unmanned post offices which are composed of various unmanned mail acceptance and delivery postal systems. In this paper, we propose the methodological approach for the site selection of unmanned post office among the existing post offices and the installation standard of unmanned postal system considering the operation cost by the mail volume.

Adaptive Fuzzy Controller Design for Altitude Control of an Unmanned Helicopter

  • Unmanned Helicopter has several abilities such as vertical Take off, hovering, low speed flight at low altitude. Such vehicles are becoming popular in actual applications such as search and rescue, aerial reconnaissance and surveillance. These vehicles also used under risky environments without threatening the life of a pilot. Since a small unmanned helicopter is very sensitive to environmental conditions, it is generally known that the flight control is very difficult problems. The nonlinear adaptive fuzzy controller design procedure and its applications for altitude control of unmanned helicopter were described in the paper. This research was concentrated on describing the design methodologies of altitude controller design for small unmanned helicopter acquiring autonomous take off and vertical movement. The design methodologies and performance of the altitude controller were simulated and verified with an adaptive fuzzy controller. Throughout simulation results, I showed that the proposed adaptive controllers have enhanced control performance such as robustness, effectiveness and safety, in the altitude control of the unmanned helicopter.

  • The subject of this paper is the tole operation for unmanned vehicle. The aim is studied in context of motor control system and algorithms for the mid to low level control of tele operation unmanned vehicle described. Modern, vehicle related researches have been implemented about control, chassis, body and safe쇼 but now is to driving comfort, I.T.S. and human factor, etc. As a result of this fact, unmanned vehicle is main research topic over the world but it is still very expensive and unreasonable. A hierarchical approach is studied in context of motor control system and algorithms for the mid to low level control of tele operation unmanned vehicle described. The real time control and monitoring of longitudinal, lateral, Pitching motion is to be solved by system integration and optimization technique. We show the experimental result about fixed brake range test and acceleration test. And all system is to integrated for driving simulator and unmanned vehicle.

Spatial database architecture for organizing a unified information space for manned and unmanned aviation

  • The widespread introduction of unmanned aircrafts has led to the understanding of the need to organize a common information space for manned and unmanned aircrafts, which is reflected in the Russian Unmanned aircraft system Traffic Management (RUTM) project. The present article deals with the issues of spatial information database (DB) organization, which is the core of RUTM and provides storage of various data types (spatial, aeronautical, topographical, meteorological, vector, etc.) required for flight safety management. Based on the analysis of functional capabilities and types of work which it needs to ensure, the architecture of spatial information DB, including the base of source information, base of display settings, base of vector objects, base of tile packages and also a number of special software packages was proposed. The issues of organization of these DB, types and formats of data and ways of their display are considered in detail. Based on the analysis it was concluded that the optimal construction of the spatial DB for RUTM system requires a combination of different model variants and ways of organizing data structures.

  • By using the information obtained from the outputs of MR(MagnetoResistive) sensors for an Unmanned Vehicle Driving System, we develop an algorithm that decides the distance and direction between vehicle and the guideline which is made by the magnet. To improve the robust tracking properties of the closed loop system, we introduce H$\infty$ controller and its application for the Unmanned Vehicle Driving System.

기계적 단속 및 인력단속에 의한 과속단속 효과 분석 (A Comparative Study on Assessment of Speed Enforcement by Unmanned Camera and Policeman)

  • 교통사고로 인한 여러 가지 사회적 문제들로 인해 정부에서는 강력하게 교통사고를 줄이기 위한 여러 가지 정책들을 시행하여 왔다. 이러한 결과들로 인해 최근 들어 교통사고 발생건수 및 사망자 수가 감소추세에 있다. 그러나 이러한 교통사고 감소를 위한 여러 가지 정책들을 시행하기 위해서는 비용이 수반되게 마련이며, 이에 대한 비용 대비 효과 평가도 이루어질 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 교통단속에 투자되는 비용 가운데 단속효과가 입증된 무인과속단속시스템에 의한 단속과 교통경찰에 의한 인력단속의 경우를 단속이 없는 경우와 비교하였다. 그 결과 평균속도에서 설치전 조건이 평균속도 82.66km/h, 인력단속 조건이 70.57km/h, 기계적 단속조건이 67.85km/h순으로 높게 나타났고 통계적으로도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 제한속도 위반율에서도 설치전 조건이 65%, 인력단속조건이 32%, 기계적 단속조건이 19%의 순으로 나타났다. 차종별로는 승용차, 승합차, 화물차의 순으로 평균속도 및 위반율이 높았으며, 차로별로는 1차로가 2차로에 비해 높게 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 사고율을 추정하여 투입비용 대비 편익을 측정하였는데 무인과속단속시스템 설치전 조건의 경우와 비교하여 연간비용대비편익을 추정하였다. 그 결과 교통경찰에 의한 인력단속조건의 경우 76,130,590원의 마이너스편익이 발생하였고, 무인과속단속시스템에 의한 기계적 단속의 경우 38,577,670원의 편익이 발생하는 것으로 추정되었다

저가형 무인 항공기의 자동비행시스템 개발 (Development of Automatic flight Control System for Low Cost Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)

  • Automatic flight control system (AFCS) for a low-cost unmanned aerial vehicle is described in this paper. Development process and block diagram of the AFCS are introduced. The flight control law for longitudinal and lateral channel autopilot is designed using optimization process. In this procedure, the performance index is composed of desired location of closed loop system poles and H$_2$norm of the resultant flight control system. This procedure is applied to the autopilot design of an unmanned target vehicle. Performance of the AFCS is evaluated by processor-in-the-loop simulation test and flight test. These results show that the AFCS has acceptable performance fur low cost UAV.

상하 카메라를 이용한 무인 지게차의 도킹 (Unmanned Forklift Docking Using Two Cameras)

  • An unmanned forklift requires precise positioning and pallet detection. Therefore, conventional unmanned forklifts use high-cost sensors to find the exact position of the pallet. In this study, a docking algorithm with two cameras is proposed. The proposed method uses vision data to extract the angle difference between the pallet and the forklift. Then the control law is derived from the extracted angle for successful docking. The extracted angle is compared with the actual angle in the real environment. The control law is tested with the Lyapunov stability test and Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion. Through various experiments, the proposed docking algorithm showed the success rate high enough for real-life applications.
