An Empirical Study on the Structural Relationship among Gender Discrimination, Organization Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the Korean Shipping Firms

  • The objective of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of gender discrimination to female workers in Korean shipping firms on the their organization commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. In carrying out the objective of this study, two hypotheses about the structural relationship among gender discrimination, organization commitment and organizational citizenship behaviors in the Korean shipping firms are established after reviewing the related studies. Survey questionnaires are distributed and analyzed to test the reliability and validity of the response. Also, a structural equation model is established and the model is analyzed by AMOS. In conclusion, there are a negative effect of gender discrimination on female workers' organizational commitment and a positive effect of their commitment on OCB. Through this paper, the comprehensive understanding of the structural relationship among gender discrimination, organization commitment and organizational citizenship behavior would be promoted.

물관리일원화 시대를 맞이한 정부의 물관리 조직에 관한 논의 (A discussion on the water management organization of the Korean government in the era of one water management)

  • In this paper, the current water management organization of the Korean government and those of foreign countries were analyzed to draw out a plan to build a more rational water management organization. And then, the two organization reform alternatives were discussed on which alternatives can effectively manage the water. Through the analysis, deployment of three divisions including the water policy, the wastewater policy and the division of water industries and business are the best alternative in terms of water equality, sustainability and efficiency, which are the three main goals of the new Water Management Act, Water Management Basic Act. With much efforts, the Korea has come to the era of One Water Management. The water management paradigm proposed in this opinion is expected to become a new engine of economical growth of the nation.

Why Data Capability is Important to become an AI Matured Organization?

  • Although firms with advanced analytics and machine learning (which is often called AI) capabilities are considered to be highly successful in the market by making decisions and actions based on quantitative analysis using data, the scarcity of historical data and the lack of right data infrastructure are the problems for the organizations to perform such projects. The objective of this study, is to identify a road map for the organization to reach data capability maturity to become AI matured organizations. First, this study defines the terms, AI capability, data capability and AI matured organization. Then using content analyses, organizations' data practices performed for AI system development and operation are analyzed to infer a data capability roadmap to become an AI matured organization.

  • Technological substitution is the process by which a radical technology replaces the dominant technology in an industry. The processes of diffusion and substitution have been modeled extensively (Technology & innovation, 2010). However, the formulation of classical quantitative models encompasses only part of the theoretical space. These models impose many simplified constraints to the achievement of analytical resolution. The interior design organization needs to establish a set of technical system requirements by describing the scope of the accessibility needs of the organization against current technology use. Because of complicated design resources and ongoing advances in design technologies, design systems face the challenge of prioritizing new technologies for supporting. The problem is small design organization administration often displays a lack of concern toward the evaluation of technology integration. In this paper, I will identify the influence of a design organization's technology, and predict how future technology will inform, support, and potentially hinder productivity, culture, and work satisfaction within a design organization in the industry. In addition, I will use current design organizational behavior and leadership models to support my predictions. Finally, I will examine a proven approach to assist designers with evaluating technology integration in interior design organization. The goal is to develop a high quality, professional development scorecards for the evaluation. I will conduct both the evaluation of technology integration and CRM performance evaluation is recommended to assess the effectiveness of technology integration. Therefore, the evaluation of integration technologies oriented design hold the promise of solving the organization application integration challenge. The evaluation of integration technology is a significant pattern for processing such a vision. The careful selection of an integration technology for this purpose is crucial in contributing toward the success of such an interior design organization endeavor.

사회복지기관의 학습조직이 조직몰입 및 이직의사에 미치는 효과 : Senge모형을 중심으로 (Effect of Learning Organization on Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention in Social Welfare Organization: Focused on Senge Model)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지기관의 학습조직 특성을 파악하고 학습조직이 조직몰입 및 이직의사에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 학습조직의 개념과 구성요소를 비교적 가장 명확히 제시하고 있는 Senge(1990)의 학습조직모형을 적용하여 학습조직을 공유된 비전, 개인적 숙련, 팀 학습 및 시스템 사고로 구성하였고, 민간분야 사회복지사 342명의 구조화된 설문조사를 실시하고 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 조사대상자들의 학습조직 수준은 평균값 이상의 결과를 보여주고 있으며, 상관분석 결과 학습조직은 조직몰입과는 정(+)의, 이직의사와는 부(-)의 관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 학습조직이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 회귀분석 결과 공유된 비전, 개인적 숙련 및 팀 학습은 조직몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 공유된 비전과 팀 학습은 또한 이직의사에 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학습조직 구축을 위한 정책적 및 실천적 함의를 논의하였다.

유럽의 국가간 경찰협력기구의 범죄정보시스템에 관한 연구 (Study on the Criminal Information System of Police Cooperation Organization between European Nations)

  • 본 논문은 유럽의 국가간 경찰협력기구의 범죄정보시스템에 대하여 연구하였다. 유럽의 국가간 경찰협력기구는 냉전 시대 유럽 전역에서 빈번하게 발생하던 국제테러와 국제조직범죄, 마약범죄, 불법이민 및 기타 중대한 범죄에 대해 지역 내 국가들의 공동대응 목적으로, 1995년 7월 26일 유로폴 협약의 서명과 1998년 10월 1일 동 조약의 발효로 탄생된 조직이다. 동 조직은 탄생 초기부터 과거 국제형사경찰기구(Interpol)의 업무적 한계를 극복하고자 범죄정보시스템을 구축하였는데, 이는 정보시스템과 업무파일, 색인시스템으로 구성되어, 각 국의 National Unit 또는 다른 법 집행기관간의 직접적이고도 신속한 처리를 통해서 정보의 수집, 교환 및 활용을 용이하게 할 수 있게 하고 있다. 또한 최근에는 CMS와의 통합, 사이버범죄 대응체제의 구축, 생체인식데이터베이스의 도입 등 급변하는 시대에 발맞춘 변화도 추구하고 있다. 이처럼 유로폴의 범죄정보시스템은 현재 유럽지역에서 국제범죄의 예방과 진압에 효과적으로 사용되고 있음은 물론, 정보화 시대에 발맞춘 국가 간 경찰협력시스템에의 중요한 함의가 되고 있다.

문제 해결 전략에서 시각적 조직화와 협동학습의 효과 (The Effects of Visual Organization and Cooperative Learning in Problem-Solving Strategy)

  • 본 연구에서는 문제 해결 전략에서 시각적 조직화와 협동학습의 효과를 조사하였다. 고등학교에서 세학급 (N=127)을 선정하여 시각적 조직화를 이용한 문제 해결 전략을 개별적으로 사용하는 집단(SV), 협동학습 환경에서 사용하는 집단(SVC ), 그리고 통제집단으로 배치하였다. 수업 처치 후 객관식 문제 해결력, 전략 수행 능력, 화학 학습에 대한 불안, 수업참여도, 학습 동기를 조사하였다. 연구 결과 객관식 문제 해결력에서는 집단간 차이가 유의미하지 않았으나, 전략 수행 능력에서는 수업 처치의 주효과가 나타났다. SV 집단과 SVC 집단의 점수가 통제 집단보다 높았으며, 특히 하위 영역 중 문제 이해와 관련 법칙 회상에서 높은 점수를 보였다. 수업 참여도와 학습 동기 검사에서도 SV 집단과 SVC 집단의 점수가 통제 집단보다 유의미하게 높았다. 그러나 시각적 조직화를 이용한 문제 해결 전략이 학생들의 화학 학습에 대한 불안을 유의미하게 감소시키지는 못했다.

A Study on Selection of Core Services for Deciding ISMS Scope

  • The first thing to be prioritized is to set the scope of the management system when establishing an information security management system for systematic and effective information security management. It is important to set the scope for an organization's information security goals due to the scope affects the organization's overall information security activities. If the scope is set incorrectly, it might become impossible to protect important services and therefore, the scope of the management system should be determined in consideration of the core business services of the organization. We propose a core service selection model based on the organization's mission-critical service and high risk service in order to determine the effective information security management system scope in this paper. Core service selection criteria include the type of service, contribution to sales, socio-economic impact, and linkage with other services.

  • From fast service enlargement of the latest economy and industry, importance of service industry is embossed gradually. Service enterprise is pushing on in service quality elevation for strengthening competitiveness to survive on globalization society as manufacturing industry. Service quality elevation adapts as core competitive strategy in enterprise with business environment as continuous competitive advantage. Because Public organization also is developed in service fast, Public organization is trying to offer various service such as service level of enterprise. Each Public organization are trying to satisfy request of citizens as Customer. In this study, presented Kano-Servqual Method which is mixed by Kano's and Servqual model's advantage, each Method had used much in service quality measurement separately. Kano-Servqual Method is applied to the A information library as a public organization and is proved as practical useful method.
