Identification of Steganographic Methods Using a Hierarchical CNN Structure (계층적 CNN 구조를 이용한 스테가노그래피 식별)

  • Steganalysis is a technique that aims to detect and recover data hidden by steganography. Steganalytic methods detect hidden data by analyzing visual and statistical distortions caused during data embedding. However, for recovering the hidden data, they need to know which steganographic methods the hidden data has been embedded by. Therefore, we propose a hierarchical convolutional neural network (CNN) structure that identifies a steganographic method applied to an input image through multi-level classification. We trained four base CNNs (each is a binary classifier that determines whether or not a steganographic method has been applied to an input image or which of two different steganographic methods has been applied to an input image) and connected them hierarchically. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed hierarchical CNN structure can identify four different steganographic methods (LSB, PVD, WOW, and UNIWARD) with an accuracy of 79%.

  • Universal design equations are presented for the H-plane T-junction power divider with a circular conducting post in a rectangular waveguide. For a given operating frequency and power split ratio, the post offset from the T-junction center line, the distance between the post and the waveguide wall, and the post diameter can be adjusted to obtain a minimum reflection at the input waveguide. Optimum values of the post offset are given in terms of the normalized frequency and the power split ratio. Corresponding values of the post diameter and the distance of the post from the waveguide wall are given in terms of the normalized frequency and the post offset.

  • An expert system for the diagnosis and indication of hypertension is implemented through HTML-based backward inference. HTML-based backward inference is performed using the hypertext function of HTML, and many HTML files, which are hyperlinked to each other based on the backward rules, should be prepared beforehand. The development and maintenance of the HTML files are conducted automatically using the decision graph. Still, the drawing and input of the decision graph is a time consuming and tedious job if it is done manually. So, automatic generator of the decision graph for the diagnosis and indication of hypertension was implemented. The HTML-based backward inference ensures accessibility, multimedia facilities, fast response, stability, easiness, and platform independency of the expert system. So, this research reveals that HTML-based inference approach can be used for many Web-based intelligent site with fast and stable performance.

  • 본 논문은 조명용 RGB LED 구동 장치를 위한 새로운 방식의 Two-stage RGB LED 구동 회로를 제안한다. 제안된 회로는 PFC Flyback Converter의 다중 출력을 이용하여 LED 구동 회로의 전압 스트레스를 줄이면서 효율을 높일 수 있는 새로운 방식의 LED 구동회로이다. 제안된 회로는 Universal Input에서 25W 이상 조명 장치에 적용되는 IEC61000-3-2 Class C 규제를 만족하며, RGB LED의 개별적인 Digital Dimming을 사용하여 다양한 색을 구현할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 회로의 동작 원리를 설명하고, 시뮬레이션 및 RGB LED에 실제 적용 실험하여 제안 회로의 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • Recently, power supplies with low voltage/high current output are widely used, but conventional power supplies have large power loss, and thus the system efficiency is low. However their control technique is complicated and their elements are many. In this paper, Implementation of High Efficiency Soft-switching Flyback Converter is presented. The proposed converter has been implemented to verify the proposed topology with 5V/20A prototype and theoretical operation under various load condition and universal input voltage range.

  • As the CMOS technology becomes the most dominant circuit realization method, the cost problem for the test which includes both the transistor-level FET stuck-on and stuck-off faults and the gatelevel stuck-at faults becomes more and more serious. In accordance, this paper proposes a test set and its generation algorithm, which handles both the transistor-level faults and the gate-level faults, thus can unify the test steps during the IC design and fabrication procedure. This algorithm uses only the logic equation of the given logic function as the input resource without referring the transistor of gate circuit. Also, the resultant test set from this algorithm can improve in both the complexity of the generation algorithm and the time to apply the test as well as unify the test steps in comparing the existing methods.

  • In this paper we analysis DC bus voltage stress at high line voltage and light load in $S^4$-PFC Isolated AC/DC converter with DC bus voltage feedback using coupling in transformer. In this converter, the principle of operation and the practical problems in the design are considered. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the operation and performance of the $S^4$-PFC converter with DC bus voltage feedback. Experimental sets are performed in the conditions; switching frequency 100 kHz, output of 5 V, 60W, and universal line input voltage.

The Acquisition of the English Locative Alternation by Korean EFL Learners: What Makes L2 Learning Difficult?

  • The present research investigates the acquisition of the English locative alternation by Korean EFL learners, which poses a learnability paradox, taking Pinker's framework of learnability theory as its basis. It addresses two questions (1) how lexical knowledge is represented initially and at different levels of interlanguage development and (2) what kinds of difficulty Korean learners find in the acquisition of English locative verbs and their constructions. Three groups of learners at different proficiency levels with a control group of English native speakers are examined by two instruments: elicited production task and grammaticality judgment task. According to different levels of proficiency, the learners exhibit gradual sensitivity to a change-of-state meaning and obtain complete perception of the meanings of locative verbs (manner-of-motion and change-of-state) and their constructions. Overgeneralization errors are observed in their performance. The errors are due to misinterpretations of particular lexical items in conjunction with the universal linking rules. More fundamental cause of difficulty is accounted for by partial use of learning mechanisms, caused by insufficient L2 input.

  • The aim of this research is to develop more actual high-frequency power generators that includes various noise, to make flexible control systems for test or performance analysis of electric and electronic machines. It proposed power generating circuits using basic amplifier, B-level Push-Pull type, and FPGA for the easier control to get data and transmit. And it also testify to realize the proposed systems to report output data by input waveform and designed the digital LPF with MATLAB, universal simulation tools, for this study.
