항공기 승무원의 작업 동작을 반영한 여성용 유니폼 셔츠 패턴 개선 방안 (Women's Uniform Shirts' Pattern Alteration by Applying the Work Postures of Flight Attendants)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a pattern of flight attendant uniform shirts to provide better comfort for their work postures. Flight attendants' work postures were evaluated to determine the problems of clothing and mobility during their work. The pattern of the flight attendants' uniform shirt was altered by applying dynamic wearing ease(DWE). DWE was calculated from four standardized dynamic postures and a static posture. An experimental garment was made with the altered postures. The researcher redesigned the pattern of the uniform shirts, which minimizes physical limitations in movements. The fit and mobility of the shirts were evaluated. Results of this study are as follows. First, the five representative work postures were selected by "clothing stress" and "repetitiveness." These postures included raised arms, twisting midriff and shoulder postures. Five representative postures were selected by using the ergonomic posture assessment device index(OWAS). Second, the experimental garment was developed by applying DWE across the back and at armhole depth, back length, and side length. Third, the fit and mobility of the experimental garments and the original uniform shirts were compared at the flight working environment set and 5 dynamic body postures of raising arms. The experimental garments made with an altered pattern provided better fit and mobility than the original sample shirts.

고준위방사성폐기물 처분장에서의 굴착손상대를 고려한 수리-역학적 복합거동 해석 (Analysis of Hydro-Mechanical Coupling Behavior Considering Excavation Damaged Zone in HLW Repository)

  • 발파의 영향으로 생기는 굴착손상대(Excavation Damaged Zone, EDZ) 영역은 응력재분배 등으로 응력이 변화하며 처분장이 위치하는 깊은 심도에서는 그 영향이 두드러진다. 특히 균열생성으로 인한 투수특성 증가는 지하수 유입량 증가 및 방사성 핵종의 유출 가능성을 증가시키므로 반드시 고려되어야 하는 영역이다. 본 연구에서는 FLAC2D Version 7.0을 이용하여 EDZ가 없는 경우(No EDZ), EDZ가 있으며 거리에 따라 일정한 물성을 갖는 경우(Uniform EDZ), EDZ가 있으며 거리와 위치에 따라 무작위 물성을 갖는 경우(Random EDZ) 3가지로 나누어 비교하여 손상대 유무에 따른 수리-역학적 복합거동 분석을 통해 안정성 해석을 진행하였다. 그 결과 터널 변위의 경우 Random EDZ에서 No EDZ에 비해 평균 423 %, Uniform EDZ에 비해 16 % 크게 나타났다. 지하수 유입량은 Random EDZ에서 No EDZ에 비해 최대 17.3 %, Uniform EDZ에 비해 10.8 % 증가하였다. 굴착 후 응력재분배에 의해 터널 주변의 투수계수는 터널 벽면 모서리 부분과 터널 천정 부근에서 최대 10배 이상 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 측압계수가 증가함에 따라 터널 벽면 주변의 투수계수는 부분적으로 증가하지만 터널 전면에서의 지하수 유입량은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. FLAC3D를 이용한 역학적 해석에서도 FLAC2D와 유사한 결과를 보였으며 터널 굴착 진행에 따른 소성대의 발생으로 인한 약간의 차이를 확인할 수 있었다.

Stresses in FGM pressure tubes under non-uniform temperature distribution

  • The effects of material nonhomogeneity and nonisothermal conditions on the stress response of pressurized tubes are assessed by virtue of a computational model. The modulus of elasticity, the Poisson's ratio, the yield strength, and the coefficient of thermal expansion, are assumed to vary nonlinearly in the tube. A logarithmic temperature distribution within the tube is proposed. Under these conditions, it is shown that the stress states and the magnitudes of response variables are affected significantly by both the material nonhomogeneity and the existence of the radial temperature gradient.

  • In this paper, the multilayer actuator is investigated by using the finite element method. The material is taken to be piezoelectric. The capacitor and interdigital wlfloating type actuator are compared to the stress field distribution under the uniform electric field. As the length of the floating electrode in the interdigital wlfloating actuator changes, the stress field around the edge of electrode is studied.

  • In this paper the stress intensity factor under uniform pressure in the arbitrarily-shaped plane crack configuration transformed elliptic crack by Mobius mapping are determined. Using Dysons formula Boussinesq-Papkovich potentials for mode I deformation are constructed. In the example the stress intensity factors are approximately calculated by least square method.

  • The relationship between the applied stresses and the change of elastic wave velocity has been established based on the acoustoelasticity theory. The non-uniform stress field in a loaded specimen has been evaluated from the surface acoustic wave velocity measured by the line-focus acoustic microscopy with the acoustoelastic constants obtained form a calibration test. The evaluated stresses are in good agreement with the results calculated by finite element method.

철근콘크리트의 부착특성에 관한 연구 (The Investigation on Bond characteristics of Reinforced Concrete)

  • 철근과 콘크리트의 부착성능에 영향을 미치는 인자들을 평가하기 위하여 부착실험을 수행하였다. 주요변수로는 콘크리트의 압축강도($f_c$'=340, 460, 650, $904kg/cm^2$), 콘크리트의 피복두께(25, 38, 51, 105, 110mm), 철근의 직경(D13, D22)으로 하였으며 구속철근의 효과와 철근간격은 고려하지 않았다. 철근이 일축인장력을 받을 때 철근의 전 부착길이에 걸쳐 응력이 일정하다는 가정하에 32개의 실험체를 제작, 실험하였다. 각 실험체별로 파괴모드를 고찰하였고, 부착응력.변위관계를 통하여 변수의 영향을 평가하였으며, 실험결과에 다른 최대부착응력을 ACI 규준의 상한선($700kg/cm^2$)을 초과하여도 부착응력 및 최대 부착응력이 증가하는 것으로 나타나 콘크리트 압축강도 상한선을 초과하는 경우 정착길이 산정시 압축강도 증가에 따른 영향을 고려하여야 하는 것으로 나타났다.

Incipient motion criteria of uniform gravel bed under falling spheres in open channel flow

  • Prediction on initial motion of sediment is crucial to evaluate sediment transport and channel stability. The condition of incipient movement of sediment is characterized by bed shear stress, which is generated from force of moving water against the bed of the channel, and by critical shear stress, which depends on force resisting motion of sediment due to the submerged weight of the grains. When the bed shear stress exceeds the critical shear stress, sediment particles begin rolling and sliding at isolated and random locations. In Mountain River, debris flow frequently occurs due to heavy rainfall and can lead some natural stones from mountain slope into the bed river. This phenomenon could add additional forces to sediment transport system in the bed of river and also affect or change direction and magnitude of sediment movement. In this paper, evaluations on incipient motion of uniform coarse gravel under falling spheres impacts using small scale flume channel were conducted. The drag force of falling spheres due to water flow and length movement of falling spheres were investigated. The experiments were carried out in flume channel made by glass wall and steel floor with 12 m long, 0.6 m wide, and 0.6 m deep. The bed slopes were selected with the range from 0.7% to 1.5%. The thickness of granular layer was at least 3 times of diameter of granular particle to meet grain placement condition. The sphere diameters were chosen to be 4cm, 6 cm, 8 cm, 10 cm. The spheres were fallen in to the bed channel for critical condition and under critical condition of motion particle. Based on the experimental results, the Shields curve of particles Reynold number and dimensionless critical shear stress were plotted. The relationship between with drag force and the length movement of spheres were plotted. The pathways of the bed material Under the impact of spheres falling were analyzed.

  • An experimental assessment on the dynamic behavior of saturated sand which can consider the irregular characteristics of earthquakes was proposed. The equivalent uniform stress concept presented by Seed and Idriss has been applied to evaluate the liquefaction resistance strength to simplify earthquake loading. However, it was known that the liquefaction resistance strength of soil based on the equivalent uniform stress concept can't exactly mirror the dynamic characteristics of the irregular earthquake motion. In this study, estimation of the criterion of the liquefaction resistance strength was determined by applying real earthquake loading to the cyclic triaxial test. From the test results, relationships between excess pore water pressure and the earthquake characteristics such as magnitude or duration were determined. Magnitude scaling factors to determine the soil liquefaction resistance strength in seismic design were also proposed.
