Mobile Development Process based on the UML Components (UML 컴포넌트를 이용한 모바일 개발 프로세스)

  • CBD(Component-based Development), which refers to the method of treating software as parts of a larger whole and developing new information systems through the assembly and synthesis of existing software, has been popular among many methods for developing software. However, CBD has limitations in the mobile environment which requires frequent requirements change and flexible process. To overcome those limitations, we propose an improved mobile development process based on the UML(Unified Modeling Language) components. Our Proposal is the simple development process implemented as three phase of component diagrams for the mobile system having quickly evolving technology and small-size project. Through the implementation of a mobile banking service with the proposed development process, we show that our proposal works efficiently for the requirements change and flexible development.

  • 주어진 도메인에 대한 설계 및 구현 이전 단계인 분석 과정에서 객체지향의 방법을 적용할 수 있는 모델링 언어인 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 다이어그램 중 Use Case 다이어그램, 클래스 다이어그램, 순서도 등 3가지 모델들 간의 일관성(consistency)을 유지하기 위한 기준이나 구체적인 지침에 관한 여러 가지 형태의 연구들이 이미 행해져 왔지만, 본 논문에서는 이러한 다이어그램들 간의 일관성을 유지하는데 있어서 지켜져야 하는 기준과 checklist를 예제를 통해서 제시한다.

  • 프로덕트 라인 공학에서 프로덕트 라인 아키텍처는 가장 중요한 산출물 중에 하나이다. UML (Unified Modeling Language) 2.x 부터는 아키텍처를 모델링하기 위한 유용한 모델링 요소를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 UML을 이용하여 프로덕트 라인 아키텍처를 모델링하기 위해서는 가변성의 표현이 명시적으로 이루어져야 하지만, UML 자체에는 가변성을 표현하기 위한 방법 및 기법을 명시적으로 기술하고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 UML에서 제공하는 확장 메커니즘을 이용하여 가변성을 표현하는 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 모델링요소에 태그값(Tagged Value) 및 스테레오타입을 넣어주어 다양한 관점에서의 가변성을 표기하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • Recently as recognition to prevent nature disasters is reaching the climax, the most important job of government official is to provide information related to the prevention of nature disasters through the Web and to bring notice to prevent disaster under people. Especially, if the case of daily forest fire hazard index is provided within visualization on Web, people may have more chances to understand about forest fire and less damages by large scale of forest fire. Forest fire hazard index presentation system developed in this paper presents daily forest fire hazard index on map visually also provides the information related to it in text format. In order to develop this system, CBDP(Component Based Development Process) is proposed in this paper. This development process tries to emphasize the view of reusability so that it has lifecycle which starts from requirement and domain analysis and finishes to component generation. Moreover, The concept of this development process tries to reflect component based method, which becomes hot issue in software field nowadays. In the future, the component developed in this paper may be possibly reused in other Web GIS application, which has similar function to it so that it may take less cost and time to develop other similar system.

  • An object oriented programming(OOP) framework is presented to solve plane elastostatic contact problems by means of the boundary element method(BEM). Unified modeling language(UML) is chosen to describe the structure of the program without loss of generality, even though all implemented codes are written with C++. The implementation is based on computational abstractions of both mathematical and physical concepts associated with contact mechanics involving geometrical nonlinearities and the corner node problems for multi-valued traction. The overall class organization for contact analysis is discussed in detail. Numerical examples are also presented to verify the accuracy of the developed BEM program.

  • Recent advancement in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has paved the way for WSNs to enable in various environments in monitoring temperature, motion, sound, and vibration. These applications often include the detection of sensitive information from enemy movements in hostile areas or in locations of personnel in buildings. Due to characteristics of WSNs and dealing with sensitive information, wireless sensor nodes tend to be exposed to the enemy or in a hazard area, and security is a major concern in WSNs. Because WSNs pose unique challenges, traditional security techniques used in conventional networks cannot be applied directly, many researchers have developed various security protocols to fit into WSNs. To develop countermeasures of various attacks in WSNs, descriptions and analysis of current security attacks in the network layers must be developed by using a standard notation. However, there is no research paper describing and analyzing security models in WSNs by using a standard notation such as The Unified Modeling Language (UML). Using the UML helps security developers to understand security attacks and design secure WSNs. In this research, we provide standard models for security attacks by UML Sequence Diagrams to describe and analyze possible attacks in the three network layers.

  • We need the flexible method for communication network configuration and fault management business procedure. Therefore development of systematic integrating fault management system is essential to meet on these requests. We must design the integrating fault management system so that can run the repair processing for both data communication network management and new next generation data communication network of various type. In general it is effective that the system is consisted of decentralized module to be accessibele for business logic and datum to remote area. To Solve these problem, a method is to use object-oriented design technique. That is, it is to abstract reusability objects and make component module using the abstracted objects. In this paper, we propose a fault management system of communication network service using object-oriented design techniques which are UML(Unified Modeling Language) and EJB(Enterprise Java Bean).

A Study on Automatic Classification of Class Diagram Images (클래스 다이어그램 이미지의 자동 분류에 관한 연구)

  • UML class diagrams are used to visualize the static aspects of a software system and are involved from analysis and design to documentation and testing. Software modeling using class diagrams is essential for software development, but it may be not an easy activity for inexperienced modelers. The modeling productivity could be improved with a dataset of class diagrams which are classified by domain categories. To this end, this paper provides a classification method for a dataset of class diagram images. First, real class diagrams are selected from collected images. Then, class names are extracted from the real class diagram images and the class diagram images are classified according to domain categories. The proposed classification model has achieved 100.00%, 95.59%, 97.74%, and 97.77% in precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy, respectively. The accuracy scores for the domain categorization are distributed between 81.1% and 95.2%. Although the number of class diagram images in the experiment is not large enough, the experimental results indicate that it is worth considering the proposed approach to class diagram image classification.

  • XML(eXtensible Markup Language) 프로그램이나 XML을 이용한 B2B 시스템 구축과 같은 XML 프로젝트에서는 객체 지향적 설계언어인 UML을 이용해 개발하면 효율을 높일 수 있다. UHL(Unified Modeling Language)로 XML문서 구조를 표현하는 이유는 XML문서를 생성, 접근, 수정하는 XML프로그램을 체계적이고 효율적으로 설계할 수 있기 때문이다. DTD(Document Type Declaration)와 스키마(Schema)를 UML로 표현함으로써 프로그래밍을 통합적으로 추진 할 수 있다. 이러한 과정에서 XML의 문서 구조정보의 활용 증대와 UML의 확장이라는 이점을 취할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 UIML 기반의 다이어그램에서 XML 문서서로의 변환기에 대한 모델을 제안한다.

  • XML documents used for exchanging structured documents between heterogeneous distributed systems are spreading among B2B and the industrial world rapidly. This condition brings an object-oriented visualization tool for modeling XML documents. It is hard to apply for DTD - the rule for declaring document type, which is employed in XML, to various industrial field. Thus, W3C announced Recommendation for XML Schema - the rule for declaring new document type which is adaptable to XML and satisfy to user. Document Type which has high reusability and flexibility can be defined owing to that XML Schema is designed by utilization of Object-Oriented-Modelling technique(UML). This document is proposed the specification and an algorithm for mapping XML Schema to UML.
