액체용 중량식 유량계 교정장치의 일방향 Diverter 특성연구 (Characteristics of Uni-directional Diverter for Gravimetric Calibration Facility)

  • Diverter is an essential element in gravimetric calibration method of flowmeter. Error of diverter are influenced by flow velocity profile of nozzle outlet, motion velocity of diverter and detecting location. That's why, time detection position of diverter is tuned through repetitive test for minimizing error of diverter. Further the diverter must be compared with the other institutions test since the influence on the accuracy of the flow meter used in the test. In this paper, errors (flow velocity profile of nozzle outlet, motion velocity of diverter and detecting location) of diverter are decreased by produced uni-direction diverter and error of gravimetric calibration system is decreased. Uni-direction diverter is calibrated by gravimetric calibration system with precision flowmeter, the flowmeter is calibrated by pipe prover and other institutions and uni-direction diverter is evaluated. Uni-direction diverter is not influenced by flow velocity profile of nozzle outlet, motion velocity of diverter and detecting location. As a result, Uni-direction diverter can calibrate in wider scope since increasing ratio of maximum and minimum flow rate of uni-direction diverter.

  • Backfire characteristics for hydrogen fueled free piston engine with uni-flow scavenging is investigated with different stroke, exhaust vlave openning timing and fuel-air equivalence ratio by using RICEM (Rapid Intake Compression Expansion Machine) for combustion research of free piston engine. As results, it is found that backfire can be occurred due to slow combustion of unhomogeneous mixture in the piston crevice volume or/and in the cylinder near piston head. And the more stroke of free piston H2 engine with uni-flow scavenging is short the more opening timing of exhaust valve have to be advanced to control backfire.

  • In order to improve scavenging performance of free piston hydrogen fueled engine, this study estimate compatibility of uni-flow scavenging. The scavenging flow characteristics in the cylinder is investigated by flow visualization and PIV method. Consequently it has been found that the scavenging performance decreased with abnormal expansion of piston and delay of the exhaust valve opening timing. And the scavenging performance of exhaust valve located center in cylinder head is better than that of exhaust valve located side in cylinder head.

  • In order to develop two-stroke free-piston hydrogen engine to obtain high thermal efficiency and low emission, backfire occurrence have to be prevented. In this research, backfire characteristics are analyzed as functions of the intake valve opening timing and compression chamber pressure under piston by using RICEM (Rapid Intake Compression Expansion Machine) that has reverse uni-flow scavenging. As the result, reverse uni-flow scavenging is advantage about back fire. but, it exists suitable intake valve opening timing and its timing become known that equivalence ratio 1 retard until the piston rises. Also, To rise chamber pressure of lower piston, this does not cause backfire occurs in equivalent ratio 0.6 observed back fire. Therefore, 2cycle hydrogen fueled free-piston engine is undesirable scavenging compression by compressing the piston.

  • We have fabricated a channel of superconducting flux flow transistor(SFFT) using the voltage-biased atomic force microscope(AFM) TiO tip and performed numerical simulations for the SFFT controlled by the magnetic field with a control current. The critical current density in a channel of the fabricated SFFT was decreased with the applied current by a control line. By comparing the measured with theoretical results, we showed a possibility of fabrication of an SFFT with a nano-channel using AFM anodization process technique.

  • Superconducting flux flow transistor(SFFT) is based on a control of the Abrikosov vortex flowing along a channel. The induced voltage by moving of the Abrikosov vortex in SFFT is greatly affected by the thickness and width, of channel. In order to fabricate a reproducibility channel in SFFT, we have researched the variation of the critical characteristics of YBCO thin films with the etching time using ICP(Inductively coupled plasma) system. It was certified that the velocity of vortex decreased with increasing the width of channel and was saturated faster in low bias from a simulation. An etching mechanism of YBCO thin films by ICP system was also certified by AFM(Atomic Force Microscope) and by measuring the critical current density with etching time. As measurement result, we could analyze that we should optimize the etching thickness of channel part to construct a flux flow transistor with desired characteristics.

  • A hydrogen fueled 2 stroke free-piston engine with reverse uni-flow scavenging have a advantageous structure for the backfire occurrence, but it can reduce thermal efficiency by the circuit-flow to go through a exhaust-port. In this research, varied boost pressure, SVOT and exhaust pressure are used in a 2stroke free-piston engine with hydrogen fueled for studying the possibility of increasing thermal efficiency of free-piston hydrogen engine. As a result, to increase thermal efficiency of free-piston are suitable to supply the mixture after port closed the exhaust rater than to use the scanvenging. And it was increased by the exhaust pressure, to achieve it must be used the lean-mixture at SVOT aBDC $34^{\circ}$.

UNI 4.0 기반 ATM 망에서의 IP 멀티캐스트 지원 방안을 위한 서비스 구조 (A Service Architecture to support IP Multicast Service over UNI 4.0 based ATM Networks)

  • 인터넷에서의 대부분의 중요한 실시간 멀티미디어 응용들은 멀티캐스트 서비스를 요구하므로 이들 응용을 ATM 기반의 인터넷에서 지원하기 위해서는 IP 멀티캐스트의 효율적인 처리가 필수적이다. IETF에서는 UNI 3.0/3.1 기반 ATM 망에서 연결형 일대다. ATM VC로 비연결형 IP 멀티캐스트를 지원하기 위해 MARS(Multicast Address Resolution Server)모델을 제안하였다. UNI 3.0/3.1 시그널링으로는 동적으로 멀티캐스트 그룹에 참여하려는 수신원을 VC 연결의 주체인 송신원에게 알릴 수 없기 때문에, MARS는 동적으로 멀티캐스트 그룹에 참여하려는 수신원을 멤버들의 요청을 받아 이를 송신원에게 알려주는 오버레이 서비스를 제공한다. 그런데 ATM Forum이 UNI 3.0/3.1 시그널링을 수정, 보완하여 표준화한 UNI 4.0 시그널링에서는 일대다 ATM VC에 참여하기 위해 수신원이 직접 송신원으로 신호할 수 있는 LIJ(Leaf Initiated Join)기능이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 UNI 4.0 기반의 ATM 망에서 LIJ 기능을 이용하여 IP 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공하는 UNI4MARS 모델을 제안한다. MARS 서버와는 대조적으로, 제안하는 UNI4MARS 서버는 수신원이 LIJ 요청을 할 때 필요로 하는 송신원 정보를 알려주기 위하여 멀티캐스트 그룹에 대한 송신원의 등록/탈퇴 정보를 유지한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 비교해 본 결과, 제안하는 UNI4MARS모델은 동적인 IP 멀티캐스트를 지원하는 기능적인 면에서는 기존의 MARS 모델과 동일하지만 송신원에 비하여 수신원의 수가 많은 비대칭적 다중점 대 다중점 응용의 경우 구현에 필요한 프로세싱 오버헤드 및 메모리와 대역폭 요구량 측면에서 MARS 모델보다 유리함을 알 수 있었다.
