  • In this paper we challenge the mobile node Authentication using Java Card authentication protocol in Ad-hoc network environment. Ad-hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes without the support of a stationary infrastructure. and DSR routing protocol, which is one of famous mobile ad-hoc rooting protocols, has the following network path problem. this paper is the security structure that defined in a mobile network and security and watches all kinds of password related technology related to the existing authentication system. It looks up weakness point on security with a problem on the design that uses Ad-hoc based structure and transmission hierarchical security back of a mobile network, and a server-client holds for user authentication of an application level all and all, and it provides one counterproposal. Java Card Authentication of mobile node can possibly be applied to the area of M-Commerce, Wireless Security, and Ubiquitous Computing and so on.

  • In this paper, we proceeded a study about the mobile software applications using smartphone technology. Firstly, we proposed a communication which a position data transmission technique using LED flashlight with built-in smartphone and we develop the application to perform a remote controller for beam-forming communication based on visible light associated with the position of Smartphone user. OOK modulation was applied for transmitting location data via LED backlight flash of smartphone and PD is used for detecting receiving light. In case of remote controller application which was controlled by WiFi IP-networking and it controls LED direction for beam-forming communication. These suggestion can be a good example for ubiquitous position recognition system using smart phone and software.

  • MicroSoft Windows 10 IoT version, released in August 2015, successfully drew consumer interest by introducing the familiar Windows into the IoT market, and enabled an easier system construction of IoT web servers. Meanwhile, overdiagnosis has recently emerged as a controversy in medical society. Establishment of communication between IoT servers and medical devices will send treatment results to users and activate communication between hospitals, greatly reducing this problem. The IoT server, with its limited resources, utilizes lightweight protocols that do not generate traffic and are easy to use. This paper proposes IoT networks which will enable medical devices to easily provide ubiquitous environments to their users, through utilization of the lightweight Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP) and the secure Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP).

  • X-MAC reduces transmission delay and energy consumption by using a short preamble instead of the existing long preamble. To solve the problem of X-MAC, this paper proposes a new MAC protocol called Express-MAC. The wireless sensor network is mainly used for the purpose of gathering event data or situation information. Especially, the transmission pattern of the sensor network with the purpose of event detection such as intrusion detection is very intermittent as well as successively occurring when a single event takes place in most cases. By reflecting sensor network's key transmission patterns as above, EX-MAC has used multi-hub path's path reservation system and awake section's transmission time reservation method in data transmission when the first event takes place. The awake time reservation in transmission path has improved successive data transmission's end-to-end delay, and it has also increased efficiency in terms of energy consumption by reducing the preamble length of data transmission and reception node.

  • Wearable and ubiquitous micro systems will be greatly growing and their related devices should be self-powered in order to avoid the replacement of finite power sources, for example, by scavenging energy from the environment. With ever reducing power requirements of both analog and digital circuits, power scavenging approaches are becoming increasingly realistic. One approach is to drive an electromechanical converter from ambient motion or vibration. Vibration-driven generators based on electromagnetic, electrostatic and piezoelectric technologies have been demonstrated. Among various generator types proposed so far, piezoelectric generator possesses considerable potential in micro system. To overcome low mechanical-to- electric energy conversion, the piezoelectric device should activate in resonance mode in response to external vibration. Normally, the external vibration excretes at low frequency ranging 0.1 to 200 Hz, whereas the resonant frequencies of the devices are fixed as constant. Therefore, keeping their resonant mode in varying external vibration can be one of important points in enhancing the conversion efficiency. We investigated the possibility of use of multi-bender type piezoelectric devices. To match the external vibration frequency with the device resonant frequency, the various devices with different resonant frequency were chosen. Under an external vibration acceleration of 0.1G at 120 Hz, the device exhibited a peak-to-peak voltage of 2.8 V and a power of 0.5 mw in resonance mode.

  • Nowadays, display-contents are developing to an informative environment. that is under the logic of the media operating system. To perceive the media-environments and produce the cultural contents, the cultural designers seek to understand a skin structure from making up for shape. To appreciate operating system in data and database is not only systematization of form and contents of visual contents but also variety contents into multiple-platform and integrative environments. These days, the spectacle exhibition try to express for their surface design between algorithm of data and database. the information is expressing aesthetic which means presents the integrated contents through the play instinct environment to end-user. That was given web or game to participation is developing with the cellular device and ubiquitous computing system. in the linear perspective, the end-user should be immerse more and more hyper-simulation system because of the operating algorithm of database. To do this, human have need to get the information-ability from multi-platform society. In the virtual environment, database offer the experience of an unheard-of event to end-user that prepare the participants the circumstances priority of signifiers. To do that already based on a fixed sensibility endow with narrative of the freshness- experience.

Rotation Invariant 3D Star Skeleton Feature Extraction (회전무관 3D Star Skeleton 특징 추출)

  • Human posture recognition has attracted tremendous attention in ubiquitous environment, performing arts and robot control so that, recently, many researchers in pattern recognition and computer vision are working to make efficient posture recognition system. However the most of existing studies is very sensitive to human variations such as the rotation or the translation of body. This is why the feature, which is extracted from the feature extraction part as the first step of general posture recognition system, is influenced by these variations. To alleviate these human variations and improve the posture recognition result, this paper presents 3D Star Skeleton and Principle Component Analysis (PCA) based feature extraction methods in the multi-view environment. The proposed system use the 8 projection maps, a kind of depth map, as an input data. And the projection maps are extracted from the visual hull generation process. Though these data, the system constructs 3D Star Skeleton and extracts the rotation invariant feature using PCA. In experimental result, we extract the feature from the 3D Star Skeleton and recognize the human posture using the feature. Finally we prove that the proposed method is robust to human variations.

  • The on-going pre-environmental investigation at present is performed by separate numerical analysis of each provision which makes integrated pre-environmental investigation is difficult. The application of numerical data is insufficient, which results to the deterioration of environmental investigation result's objectivity. A lot of time and money is required for the investigation. In this study, the spacial analysis function of GIS was applied on the 8 pre-environmental investigation factors. Pre-environmental investigation GIS DMS(Decision Making System) using AHP was constructed to make integrated investigation possible through the use of investigation results for each factor. Through the use of the developed pre-environmental investigation GIS DMS and the pre-constructed GIS data, the objectivity of environmental investigation is sufficient and time and cost are reduced. Therefore, this system can be used for pre-environmental investigation during route selection in the initial stages of road construction. Through the numerical and visual data obtained from the system developed in this paper, it is easier to gain the approval of the public. Furthermore, environmental problems due to road construction can be investigated with less time and money during the initial stages of road construction.

  • This paper investigates protocol architecture of a Web-ZigBee gateway for interconnecting TCP/IP-based networks and ZigBee/IEEE802.15.4-based wireless sensor networks. The Web-ZigBee gateway delivers data between the TCP/IP network and the ZigBee network. Since those two networks have different communication protocols, a protocol translation mechanism is needed. Herein, we propose a method to deliver query messages from the Internet to the sensor network and receive data from sensors. The protocol translation is performed in the translation layer that is placed above the two application layers, i.e., the Internet application layer and ZigBee application layer. Among various interfaces, we use CGI programming to take care of translation functions efficiently. The CGI manages query information from a client on the Internet and data from the ZigBee sensor network. Whereas the TCP/IP enabled sensor network overlays two heterogeneous communication protocols, overlaying layers increase the complexity and cost of implementing the sensor network. On the contrary, the sensors in our gateway-based system are not only light (because each communication protocol works independently without overlaying), but also efficient because the translation layer mostly alleviates header overloading.

  • This paper presents the results of research on developing marine unified communications to provide VoIP service based on marine satellites. With the recent popularity of smart-phones and other mobile devices, the demand for Internet-based wired and wireless unified technology has been growing in marine environments, and increasing interest is being directed to VoIP products and service models with high price competitiveness and the ability to deliver a variety of services. In this regard, this research designed three instruments, developed their unit modules, and verified their performances. These three instruments included the following: (1) a marine VoIP module equipped with an analogue gateway that can be linked to the existing devices used in vessels, which is more than 80% smaller than that of a land system; (2) a text/voice/video engine for marine satellite communications that runs on technology that minimizes communication data usage, which is a core technology for a marine VoIP service; and (3) a unified communication service that can support multilateral cloud-based message conversations, telephone number-based call functions, and voice/video calling between a private space in a ship and shore.
