This paper presents and analyzes urban planning process to be adopted to create ubiquitous space in city environment, using City of Seoul's Digital Media Street Project as a case study. The Digital Media Street will become the main pedestrian thoroughfare in the Digital Media City (DMC) in Sangam area, planned to become the world's first ubiquitous environment in full urban scale. Ubiquitous space is reinterpreted from an urban planning perspective, and a new approach to planning such a space is introduced, including strategies to couple technology, space, and human activities. Methodology, role of different actors, planning process, and institutional arrangement are examined in turn, and this yields further agenda for improvements that can be made in planning ubiquitous spaces in the future.

Recently, developing U-City as an integrated set of ubiquitous space services has been regarded as a promising field in realizing ubiquitous computing technology. However, well organized requirement analyses of U-City to declare what kinds of ubiquitous space services are needed and which ubiquitous computing technology should be incorporated to come up with the needs are still insufficient. Hence, the aims of this paper are to propose a set of unique U-City construction philosophies and to analyze which services should be offered in the ubiquitous space services in U-Cities. A field survey to the citizens who are potential end users of the ubiquitous space services was conducted to analyze the success factors of U-City using CSF methodology. Focused group interview with professionals in the field of ubiquitous computing technology in Korea was then performed to identify the relationship of the ubiquitous space services and the critical success factors.

Ubiquitous means computing environment that human can use computing technology naturally although a person does not feel computers because many computers distributed and linked each other. Current research of Ubiquitous is studied mainly at the United States of America, Japan, Europe, etc,. It is becoming new hot issue of IT field. In this research, we examines a trends and a development strategy of Ubiquitous market's such as the United States of America, Japan, Europe. And we study Information-oriented society based on Korea's Ubiquitous and u-Korea vision of new paradigm.

This paper reviews a new kitchen space by analyzing the user life style and their house environment where ubiquitous system is considered. The kitchen space where ubiquitous system is applied was differ in their house atmosphere and the role of kitchen area. Those changes under ubiquitous system has the kitchen becomes the central space of the house and the furnishings including home appliances and furnitures. This furniture and built-in machine will get a communication ability with user in the living and kitchen space. And it will include a high technology like as RFID, home network and so on.

The ubiquitous environment is to support people in their everyday life in an inconspicuous and unobtrusive way. This requires that information of the person and her preferences, liking, and habits are available in the ubiquitous system. In this paper, we propose the context aware system that can provide the tailored information service for user in ubiquitous computing environment. The system architecture is composed of 4 domain models that can perform some pre-defined tasks independently. And we suggest the hybrid algorithm combined with fuzzy and Bayesian network to reason what information is suitable for user environment. Finally, we apply to agent based RGA(Research Guide Assistant).

최근 건설되어지는 도시들은 정부의 신도시 정책의 일환인 첨단 도시 건설을 목적으로 하는 Ubiquitous City를 계획하고 있다. Ubiquitous City는 언제 어디서나 유비쿼터스 서비스와 인프라가 제공되는 환경을 가지고 있으므로 노출 위험이 높다. 보안을 고려한 개별 시스템들의 설계는 정부 정책과 함께 활발히 진행되지만 통합 시스템을 관리하는 면에서의 방안은 제시되지 못하고 있다. 보안관리방안이 성립되지 못한다면 침해 유형이 고도화되면서 항상 변화하는 유비쿼터스 시대에 보안은 취약해질 수밖에 없다. 시스템을 총괄 관리 및 관제하는 통합네트워크전산센터인 U-City전산센터의 보안 관리망을 구성하고 취약한 시스템들의 보안을 관리하는 대책이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 보안망의 체계적인 관리 방안을 통합보안관리(ESM)를 중심으로 기술적인 보안관리대책을 제안한다. 제안된 보안관리대책이 Ubiquitous City를 계획하는 모든 신도시들의 플랫폼이 되도록 한다.

RFID System of Ubiquitous which is one of problem that may occur in a process of replacing bar code in 21st century. Ubiquitous computer environment should be considered to be most important task to protect information. For introduction, this presentation going to discuss the background information, the purpose of Ubiquitous and potential problems in individual privacy in computer environment. In main part, the content will handle the practices and weakness in security of computer environment in Ubiquitous. Last part of presentation going to examine, futuristic views in solving existing problems with alternative solutions to prohibit invasion in privacy.

In developing the ubiquitous computing technology based services (ubiquitous services), evaluating how much value of those services is created or added is very crucial. The efforts to evaluate the ubiquitous services have been progressed in two perspectives - technical perspective and behavioral perspective. Despite its importance, however, the methodologies which integrate both perspectives have been still very rare. Hence, this paper aims perspectives have been still very rare. Hence, this paper aims to propose an integrated ubiquitous service valuation methodology based on the multi-layered approach including technical and behavioral perspectives. To do so, we conducted a case study with currently existing location based service (LBS) such as navigation systems by conducting focus group interview (FGI) and field survey.

표준 웹 환경의 확산으로 HTML5를 기반으로 웹 저작을 지원하는 많은 WYSIWYG HTML5 저작도구들이 등장하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 WYSIWYG HTML5 저작도구는 컴포넌트 이벤트에 대한 기본적인 함수 작성 기능만 제공 할 뿐 컴포넌트 제어를 위한 코드 어시스트 기능을 제공하지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이클립스 JSDT(JavaScript Development Tools) 코드 어시스트개념에 대해 기술하고, 이를 기반으로 WYSIWYG HTML5 저작도구에서 제공하는 컴포넌트 제어를 위해 코드 어시스트 가능을 구현하였다. 이로 인하여 WYSIWYG HTML5 저작도구에서 제공하는 컴포넌트에 대한 사용자들의 접근성과 개발 생산성 증대가 기대된다.
