Implementation and Evaluation of IoT Service System for Security Enhancement (보안성 향상을 위한 IoT 서비스 시스템 구현 및 평가)

  • Internet of Things includes the whole process of collected information generated from a variety of objects, as well as analyzing and sharing it, and providing useful information services to people. This study seeks ways to improve security and safety in the areas of service security technology, ID management technology and service access control, all of which take place in the IoT environment. We have implemented the services that can design and issue C&C (Certificate and Capability) service token authentication, which is based on a public key, to improve the service security. In addition, we suggest LCRS (Left Child-Right Sibling) resource model management for the efficient control of resources when generating the resource services from the data collected from node devices. We also implemented an IoT services platform to manage URL security of the resource services and perform access control for services.

Individual Variations in the Code of the International Classification of Disease for Similar Outpatient Conditions among General Practitioners (동일 질환에 대한 상병분류기호의 의료기관별 변이에 관한 연구)

  • The code of the International Classification of Disease(ICD) is seriously questioned on its effectiveness in identifing an independent disease entity from similar conditions at general practitioner's offices. This study has attempted to show individual coding variations in ICD for similar ambulatory care conditions. It has been assumed that a following outpatient visit is regarded as the sane kind of visit owing to the same disease if a visit to the different source of care would be mad within an interval of less than two days. The 'D' health insurance association was selected for this analysis. The 'D' association had 153,298 members and made claims of 642,605 outpatient care in 1990. Out of the total outpatient claims, 8.6%(55,102 claims) were counted as the same disease which could meet the above assumption. Percent of conditions classified as the 10 leading causes of frequent visits which were matched accurately to the subsequent ICD diagnostic code found to be 15.8% on the average. The URI was noted for the highest concurrence rate of 20.4%. This proportion was even decreased to 11.6% on the case of chronic disease. Despite the fact that the assumption underlying the definition of the above same disease is rather rough and inappropriate, this study reveals that the code of ICD currently in use has weaknesses in seperating a certain independent disease from similar conditions at the outpatient setting. Thus, efforts need to be elaborated to meet the need of a new system of classification for conditions and diseases encountering at ambulatory care.

Histamine Bronchial Provocation Test -Timed Tidal Breathing Technique- (히스타민 기관지유발 검사 -일정시간 흡입법-)

  • Background: The measurement of nonspecific bronchial hyperreactivity is valuable for diagnosis and management of bronchial asthma. Methacholine or histamine is used for the pharmacologic provocation test. Usually a methacholine bronchial provocation test is performed by a dosing technique with counted number of breaths. A dosimeter is indispensable in the dosing technique. Recently a timed tidal breathing technique which dose not need an expensive dosimeter was introduced. We measured the degree of nonspecific bronchial hyperreactivity to histamine using a simple timed tidal breathing technique. Method: Forty two healthy volunteers, 12 patients with bronchial asthma(BA), 10 patients with rhinitis(RH) and 10 patients with upper respiratory infection(URI) participated in the study. The subject's nose was clipped and inhalation continued during tidal breathing for 2 minutes via a face mask. $FEV_1$ was measured at 30 seconds, 90 seconds after inhalation and inhalation of next solution was continued until there was a fall in $FEV_1$ of 20%. Histamine PC20 was defined as the concentration at 20% fall of $FEV_1$ and it was obtained from the log dose-response curve by linear interpolation. Results: Inhalation of serial dilution of histamine could be performed in all patients without significant side effects. The geometric mean${\pm}$standard deviation of histamine PC20 in healthy volunteers is $8.27{\pm}2.22mg/ml$, BA group $0.33{\pm}3.02mg/ml$, RH group $0.85{\pm}3.24mg/ml$, and URI group $1.47{\pm}1.98mg/ml$. Conclusion: Histamine bronchial provocation test using timed tidal breath method is a simple and suitable tool for management of patients with bronchial hyperreactivity.

  • Chatbot is emerging as an important interface window for business. This change is due to the continued development of chatbot-related research from NLP to NLU and NLG. However, the reality is that the methodological study of drawing domain knowledge and developing it into a user-friendly interactive interface is weak in the process of developing chatbot. In this paper, in order to present the process criteria of chatbot development, we applied it to the actual project based on the methodology presented in the previous paper and improved the development methodology. In conclusion, the productivity of the test phase, which is the most important step, was improved by 33.3%, and the number of iterations was reduced to 37.5%. Based on these results, the "3 Phase and 17 Tasks Development Methodology" was presented, which is expected to dramatically improve the trial and error of the chatbot development.

A Study on the Relationship among Expenditure for Customer Satisfaction, Level of Customer Satisfaction, and Fi nancial Performance (고객만족을 위한 지출, 고객만족수준, 재무적 성과간의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether customer satisfaction is affected by the expenditure for the customer satisfaction such as advertising, promotion, and training. This study also investigate whether the financial performance of the firm is affected by the customer satisfaction. The major findings are summarized as following. First, the customer satisfaction is affected by the expenditure for the customer satisfaction such as promotion, training. But customer satisfaction is not affected by advertising cost. Second, considering the time-lag and incremental valiables, the relationship between customer satisfaction and expenditure for the customer satisfaction is not founded. Third, the customer satisfaction affects positively on the corporate financial performance, such as ratio of operating income to sales, ratio of net income to sales, return on total assets, and return on equity. Finally, considering the time-lag the relationship between customer satisfaction and financial performance is not founded. Considering the incremental valiables, the relationship between customer satisfaction and financial performance is founded when ratio of operating income to sales and return on total assets are used financial performance. These findings imply that the expenditure for promotiom and training is needed to increase the customer satisfaction. Also improvement customer satisfaction is needed to increase the financial performance. The limitations of this study are as following. First, this study could not consider the other variables that would affect on the relationship among expenditure for customer satisfaction, level of customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Second, the results of this study are difficult to generalize because this study is focused on the service industry.

A Study On Technical Trend Analysis Related to Semantic Analysis of NLP Through Domestic/Foreign Patent Data (국내외 특허데이터 분석을 통한 자연어처리의 의미분석 관련 기술동향 분석에 대한 연구)

  • NLP means the technology that mechanically analyzes a language spoken by a human and makes it into a form that can be understood by a computer. This is important because it is a core technology for communication between humans and devices, which is the basis of artificial intelligence. In this paper, I analyzed patent information of US and Korea in order to identify technical trends related to NLP, especially semantic analysis. and the purpose of this study is to provide meaningful information for future research on NLP. In conclusion, the number of Korea patents is 7.9% compared to the USA and the different frequencies of the major keywords were found to differ from country to country in technical direction. In addition, the upward or downward keywords are twice as many in the U.S. as in Korea, and reflect the trend of the times relatively more. Based on these results, in future study, I will analysis how upward trending keywords are described in actual patents for concrete technology prediction.
