Enterprises as well as central and local governments have tried to apply ubiquitous technology to the actual life on the various types of business and projects. In this paper we develop strategic plan to provide public service on public areas based on needs analysis of public services as well as trend analysis of ubiquitous and web technology. Ubiquitous service model should be based on geospatial web which can incorporate participation and collaboration concepts, as the wire/wireless network system develop rapidly. To achieve this purpose, we suggest the following projects; 1), construction of internet map based on geospatial web technology, 2), development of web contents based on geospatial web, 3), installing ubiquitous equipment, and 4), upgrade Seoul Metropolitan Government's homepage and internet system which can incorporate web 2.0 concepts. Ubiquitous service model should be based on not only development of ubiquitous technology but also needs of consumer such as citizen, enterprises, and public sectors which have an interest in that place. Geospatial web will be the core of development of ubiquitous service models.

U-Services, which are offered from local governments based on their Ubiquitous City Plans, are only focused on facility and urban management services. Also Citizen oriented U-service is only planned. This study's purpose is to propose the implication for provide of the Citizen oriented U-service comparing with U-Service plan of 'Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan' and 'Ubiquitous City Plan' through a network text analysis and word frequency analysis. It was calculated a important keyword that was extracted the service plan contents of the 'Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan' and 'Ubiquitous City Plan' of the four local governments. The network text analysis and keyword frequency analysis was performed through derived keyword. Based on the analysis results, awareness of the citizens can be expected to increase about U-City by activating a excavation of Citizen oriented U-service in a variety of sector through additional services and policy of financial support in the next Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan.

In this paper, the requirements for information security are presented in the ubiquitous ecological(u-Eco) city. The various definition of ubiquitous city is analyzed first, the concept of the u-Eco City, services and major projects are then presented. The framework of the integrated operating center for u-Eco city is proposed, the privacy, data security and network facility protection in the center are analyzed. Unlike to previously proposed security algorithms, the light-weight encoding algorithms(such as block/stream encoding, pseudo-random generator, hash function, and public key encoding) in the u-Eco city center are required to communicate the information in the ubiquitous sensor network. Furthermore, the principal policies guaranteeing the secrecy and authentication for the private information are also presented.

Context-based information services are required in ubiquitous application. In the ubiquitous application, ubiquitous commerce addresses information service that recommends items to consumers with the use of the situated contexts. This paper proposes a multi-context based information service for ubiquitous commerce. This enables a consumer to get multi-context based information efficiently by using consumer's attention for each context. The method is described and an ubiquitous commerce application prototype based on multi-context is presented. Several experiments are performed and the results verify that the proposed method's performance is better than other existing method.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 소형, 저전력의 임베디드 시스템은 저가로 구성되는 시스템이라는 특성으로 인해 넓고 다양한 지역에 분포될 수 있고 분포 시킬 시스템의 개수와 설치 방법등에 있어 큰 유연성을 가지고 있어 그 활용에 있어 매우 큰 잠재적인 요소를 보유하고 있다. 이러한 시스템에 채용되는 마이크로컨트롤러는 매우 제한된 메모리 용량과 낮은 클럭속도, 낮은 레벨의 연산 성능을 가지는게 일반적이다. 본 논문에서의 마이크로 컨트롤러를 위한 영상 촬영 및 압축 시스템은 이러한 소형의 마이크로 컨트롤러를 사용한 소형의 저전력 임베디드 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 목적의 영상 촬영 및 압축을 위한 시스템이다. 본 시스템은 영상을 촬영하고 촬영된 영상을 JPEG로 압축하며 이를 내부 메모리에 보관함으로써 저사양의 마이크로컨트롤러를 가지는 시스템과 낮은 데이터 전송률을 가지는 통신 환경에서도 이미지 기반의 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 제공하면서 동시에 매우 소형의 시스템으로 배터리 동작 기반의 저전력 시스템을 위한 설계로 유비쿼터스 환경의 구성에 매우 유용한 기능을 제공한다.

W These days, Ubiquitous is coming a more popular tool in mass communications and in advanced countries ubiquitous computing is commercialized. In Korea, we have studied the business models of the ubiquitous computing generation as well. Ubiquitous computing is the environment in which humans and computers coexist and properly work together. I would like to present a service infrastructure for a more efficient context-awareness than computing home networking system in this monograph. In the mean time, they have focused the context-awareness system on identifying users in the designated space and recognition. But I would like to focus on the middleware system structure for more efficient recognition.

The emergence of ubiquitous computing environment will change the service architecture of business information systems such as Decision Support System(DSS), which will be a new application. Recent mobile DSSs allow the decision makers to be benefited from web and mobile technology. However, they seldom refer to context data, which are useful for proactive decision support. Meanwhile, ubiquitous applications so far provide restricted personalization service using context and preference of the user, that is, they do not fully make use of decision making capabilities. Hence, this paper aims to describe how the decision making capability and context-aware computing are jointly used to establish ubiquitous applications. To do so, an amended DSS paradigm: CKDDM(Context-Knowledge-Dialogue-Data-Model) is proposed in this paper. What will be considered for the future decision support systems when we regard ubiquitous computing technology as an inevitable impact that enforces the change of the way of making decisions are described. Under the CKDDM paradigm, a framework of ubiquitous decision support systems(ubiDSS) is addressed with the description of the subsystems within. To show the feasibility of ubiDSS, a prototype system, CAMA-myOpt(Context-Aware Multi Agent System-My Optimization) has been implemented as an illustrative example system.

Development and realization of ubiquitous services in physical space is now in progress to develop ubiquitous smart space (USS). As the development methodologies for USS, scenario development is performed before requirement analysis and design, or vice versa. However, even though lots of redundant elements could be found between scenarios and requirement analysis results, a sort of structural approaches to join them together has been still very rare. Hence, the aim of this paper is to propose a system which generates ubiquitous service senarios and system analysis specifications according to a novel integration methodology. To do so, scenario and requirement analysis are integrated in a structured manner.

This paper is purpose to research system use, ubiquitous convenience considering ubiquitous system and system use, ubiquitous convenience considering user satisfaction. In this study system use was signification influenced by system quality, instantly connectivity, and user satisfaction use was signification influenced by system quality, information quality. But system use was not signification influenced by information quality, service quality and ubiquitous convenience was not signification influenced by service quality, instantly connectivity.
