곡률을 가진 판재의 편평도 개선을 위한 인자 연구 (A Study on the Enhancement of Flatness for the Metal Sheet with Curvature)

  • The focus of this study is on the enhancement of flatness for the shielded slot plate, one of main components of the MCFC stack. The shielded slot plate is to get curvature during manufacturing process since it is produced by forming operation from only one side of it. Therefore, a correction die is proposed to place just after the main die to apply unbending on the curved plate to get almost flat product. In the design for the correction die, four kinds of design factors are selected to study which factor is the most influencing one affecting the flatness of the plate. From the experimental results using Taguchi method, it has been revealed that the Young's modulus of urethane die is the most critical factor.

초고주파 가열치료를 위한 MR 호환 동축 슬롯 안테나의 개발 (Development of MR Compatible Coaxial-slot Antenna for Microwave Hyperthermia)

  • MR compatible coaxial-slot antenna for microwave hyperthermia was developed while its structure and size of each part were determined by computer simulation using finite element method(FEM). Its local heating performance was evaluated using tissue-mimic phantom and swine muscles. 2% agarose gel mixed with 6mM/$\ell$ $MnCl_2$ as a biological tissue-mimic phantom was heated by the proposed antenna driven by a 2.45GHz microwave generator. The temperature changes of the phantom were monitored using multi-channel digital thermometer at the distance of 0mm, 5mm, 10mm and 20mm from the tip center of the antenna. Also muscle tissue of swine was heated for 2 and 5minutes with 50W and 30W of microwave generator powers, respectively, to evaluate the local heating performance of the antenna. MRI compatibility was also verified by acquiring MR images and MR temperature map. MR signals were acquired from the agarose gel phantom using $T2^*$ GRE sequence with 1.5T clinical MRI scanner(Signa Echospeed, GE, Milwaukee, WI, U.S.A.) at Pusan Paik Hospital and were transferred to PC in order to reconstruct MR images and temperature map using proton resonance frequency(PRF) method and laboratory-developed phase unwrapping algorithm. Authors found that it has no severe distortion due to the antenna inserted into the phantom. Finally, we can conclude that the suggested coaxial-slot antenna has an excellent local heating performance for both of tissue-mimic phantom and swine muscle, and it is compatible to 1.5T MRI scanner.

  • This paper represents the comparison of harmonic loss characteristics of the inverter-driven 3-phase squirrel cage induction motor with slit and U-iron bridge slots of rotor. Two-dimensional time-stepped finite element method is used for electromagenetic field analysis. And spectrums of bar current, phase current, and torque are compared in each case.

유전자 알고리즘과 FDTD 방법을 이용한 접지면 U 슬롯 구조의 마이크로스트립 안테나 설계 (Design of Microstrip Antenna with U Slotted Ground Plane using Genetic Algorithm and FDTD Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 접지면에 4개의 U 슬롯을 가지는 광대역 소형 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계하는 방안을 제시하였다. 안테나의 해석을 위해 적합도 함수로서 FDTD 기법을 사용하였고, 정방형 패치의 길이, 접지면 슬롯의 길이, 중심선으로부터 급전점까지의 거리가 최대의 대역폭과 최소의 크기를 가지기 위한 최적화 파라미터로 사용되었다. 실제 안테나를 제작하여 측정한 결과, 2.445 GHz에서 10 dB 대역폭이 15.63 %이고, 최대 이득이 3.61 dBi이며, 일반 마이크로스트립 안테나에 비해 크기는 54.8 % 감소하였다.

  • The Noise generation mechanisms of propane laminar premixed flames on a slot burner have been studied experimentally. The sound levels and frequencies were measured for various mixture flow rates (velocities) and equivalence ratios. The primary frequency of self-induced noise increases with the mean velocity of mixture as $f{\;}{\propto}{\;}U_f^{1.144}$ and the measured noise level increases with the mixture flow rate and equivalence ratio as $p{\;}{\propto}{\;}U_f^{1.7}$$F^{8.2}$. The nature of flame oscillation and the noise generation mechanisms are also investigated using a high speed CCD camera and a DSRL camera. The repetition of sudden extinction at the tip of flame is evident and the repetition rates are identical to the primary frequencies obtained from the FFT analysis of sound pressure signals. CH chemiluminescence intensities of the oscillating flames were also measured by PMT with a 431 nm(10 FWHM) band pass filter and compared to the pressure signals.

Influence of abutment height and convergence angle on the retrievability of cement-retained implant prostheses with a lingual slot

  • PURPOSE. Cement-retained implant prostheses can lack proper retrievability during repair, and residual cement can cause peri-implantitis. The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the influence of abutment height and convergence angle on the retrievability of cement-retained implant prostheses with lingual slots, known as retrievable cement-type slots (RCS). MATERIALS AND METHODS. We fabricated six types of titanium abutments (10 of each type) with two different heights (4 mm and 6 mm), three different convergence angles ($8^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$, and $12^{\circ}$), a sloped shoulder margin (0.6 mm depth), a rectangular shape ($6mm{\times}6.5mm$) with rounded edges, and a rectangular ledge ($2mm{\times}1mm$) for the RCS. One monolithic zirconia crown was fabricated for each abutment using a dental computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing system. The abutments and crowns were permanently cemented together with dual-curing resin cement, followed by 24 hours in demineralized water at room temperature. Using a custom-made device with a slot driver and torque gauge, we recorded the torque ($N{\cdot}cm$) required to remove the crowns. Statistical analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis and Mann-Whitney U tests (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. Removal torques significantly decreased as convergence angles increased. Multiple regression analysis showed no significant interaction between the abutment height and the convergence angle (Durbin-Watson ratio: 2.186). CONCLUSION. Within the limitations of this in vitro study, we suggest that the retrievability of cement-retained implant prostheses with RCS can be maintained by adjusting the abutment height and convergence angle, even when they are permanently cemented together.

돌출 발열블록표면에서의 충돌분류 열전달 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Jet Impingement Heat Transfer Characteristics at Protruding heated Blocks)

  • An experimental investigation on heat transfer characteristics of two-dimensional heated blocks using a confined impinging slot jet has been performed. The effect of jet Reynolds number(Re=3900, 5800, 9700), streamwise block spacing(p/w=0.5, 1, 1.5) and dimensionless nozzle to block distance(H/B=1, 2, 4, 6) have been examined with five isothermally heated blocks. With the measurement of jet mean velocity and turbulence intensity distributions at nozzle exit, initially turbulent regimes, are classified. To clarify local heat transfer characteristics, naphthalene sublimation technique as used. The maximum Nusselt number at the stagnation point for the jet Reynolds number is occurred at H/B=4. Besides, the local and a average heat transfer of heated blocks increase with decreasing streamwise block spacing and increasing jet Reynolds number.

대역저지 특성을 갖는 초광대역 안테나 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of UWB Antenna with Band Rejection Characteristics)

  • 본 논문에서는 대역저지 특성을 갖는 초광대역(UWB: ultra wideband) 안테나를 설계 및 구현하였다. 제안된 안테나는 슬롯을 가진 평면 방사 패치와 패치 아래 양쪽과 뒷면 접지면으로 구성되어있다. 평면 방사 패치 내에 있는 슬롯들로써 대역을 저지하며 U-모양의 슬롯은 WLAN(wireless local area network, 5.15~5.825 GHz) 대역을, n-모양의 슬롯은 X-Band(7.25~8.395 GHz) 대역을 저지하는데 각각 기여한다. 그리고 저지 대역을 제외한 UWB(3.10~10.60 GHz) 전체 대역의 전압정재파비(VSWR: voltage standing wave ratio)를 2.0 이하로 만족시키기 위해 평면 방사 패치와 접지면에 변형을 주었다. 제안된 안테나의 설계과정과 전산모의실험에는 Ansoft사의 HFSS(high frequency structure simulator)를 사용하였다. 전산모의실험된 안테나는 3.10~10.60 GHz에서 저지 대역인 5.15~5.94 GHz, 7.02~8.45 GHz를 제외한 구간에서 전압정재파비는 2.0 이하를 만족하며, 구현된 안테나의 측정 결과는 저지 대역인 5.12~5.95 GHz, 7.20~8.58 GHz를 제외한 구간에서 전압정재파비는 2.0 이하를 만족한다.

Quadruple Band-Notched Trapezoid UWB Antenna with Reduced Gains in Notch Bands

  • A compact ultra-wide band antenna with a quadruple band-notched characteristic is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of a slotted trapezoid patch radiator, an inverted U-shaped band stop filter, a pair of C-shaped band stop filters, and a rectangular ground plane. To realize the quadruple notch-band characteristic, a U-shaped slot, a complementary split ring resonator, an inverted U-shaped band stop filter, and two C-shaped band stop filters are utilized in this antenna. The antenna satisfies the -10 dB reflection coefficient bandwidth requirement in the frequency band of 2.88-12.67 GHz, with a band-rejection characteristic in the WiMAX (3.43-3.85 GHz), WLAN (5.26-6.01 GHz), X-band satellite communication (7.05-7.68 GHz), and ITU 8 GHz (8.08-8.87 GHz) signal bands. In addition, the proposed antenna has a compact volume of $30mm{\times}33.5mm{\times}0.8mm$ while maintaining omnidirectional patterns in the H-plane. The experimental and simulated results of the proposed antenna are shown to be in good agreement.

설측 슬롯을 부여한 임플란트 고정성 보철물에서 내면 간격이 유지력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of internal gap on retentivity in implant fixed prosthesis with lingual slot)

  • 목적: 최근 임플란트 고정성 보철물 제작 시 나사 유지형 보철물의 교합적, 심미적 단점을 해결하고, 시멘트 유지형 보철물에서 착탈 용이성을 확보하기 위하여 보철물 설측에 슬롯을 형성하는 방법이 소개되었다. 이 연구의 목적은 설측 슬롯을 부여한 시멘트 유지형 임플란트 보철물 제작 시에 내면 간격이 보철의 제거에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 티타늄 지대주와 상부에 합착할 지르코니아 보철물 내면 간격을 30, 35, $50{\mu}m$의 3종류로 설정하여 종류별로 3개씩 총 15개를 제작하였다. 지르코니아 보철물은 티타늄 지대주의 선반 부위와 만나는 위치에서 1 mm의 공간이 생기도록 하여 탈착을 위한 슬롯(retrievable cement-type slot, RCS)을 형성하였다. 지대주와 지르코니아 보철물의 합착에는 자가 중합 레진 시멘트를 이용하였고, 합착 된 시편을 맞춤 제작된 장비를 이용하여 최대 제거 응력 값을 Ncm단위로 측정하였다. 통계적 분석으로 세 그룹을 비교하기 위해 Kruskal-Wallis 검정을 시행하였고 (${\alpha}=.05$), 사후검정으로 수정된 Mann-Whitney U-test와 Bonferroni correction 방법을 이용하여 차이를 보았다 (${\alpha}=.017$). 결과: 내면 간격이 $30{\mu}m$ 군과 $35{\mu}m$ 군간의 비교에 있어서 제거 응력에 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 없었고 (P = .032), $30{\mu}m$군과 $50{\mu}m$군, $35{\mu}m$군과 $50{\mu}m$군간을 비교 할 때 유의한 차이가 나타났다 (P < .017). 결론: 그러므로 내면 간격은 지르코니아 보철물과 티타늄 지대주 사이의 유지력에 영향을 미쳤다.
