  • This study investigated the policies of return to farm & rural of the local government 's local communities. Through this, we intend to provide information for the successful establishment of the policies of the local village. The local economy is difficult due to the declining population. Therefore, it is also important as a way to increase the population. It is also important as a way to revitalize agriculture. The results of this study are as follows. The main factors are education, self-sufficiency, adaptation, funding, and consulting. In addition, the importance of these was highest in the self-supporting environment (28%). Followed by adaptation (21%) and funding (20%). Followed by consulting (17%) and education (15%). We can conclude that the factors that show a somewhat lower proportion are less important, but we can also conclude that the importance of the factors is high due to the high maturity of the factors. The importance analysis used AHP technique. The results of this study can be a guide for government policy.

  • Recently, the field of agriculture has been gaining a new leap with the integration of ICT technology in agriculture. In particular, smart farms, which incorporate the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in agriculture, are in the spotlight. Smart farm technology collects and analyzes information such as temperature and humidity of the environment where crops are cultivated in real time using sensors to automatically control the devices necessary for harvesting crops in the control device, Environment. Although smart farm technology is paying attention as if it can solve everything, most of the research focuses only on increasing crop yields. This paper focuses on the development of a system architecture that can harvest high quality crops at the optimum stage rather than increase crop yields. In this paper, we have developed an architecture using apple trees as a sample and used the color information and weight information to predict the harvest time of apple trees. The simple board that collects color information and weight information and transmits it to the server side uses Arduino and adopts model-driven development (MDD) as development methodology. We have developed an architecture to provide services to PC users in the form of Web and to provide Smart Phone users with services in the form of hybrid apps. We also developed an architecture that uses beacon technology to provide orchestration information to users in real time.

  • A fibrinolytic enzyme of Streptomyces corcohrussi from soil sediment was purified by chromatography using DEAE-Sephadex A-50 and Sephadex G-50. The analysis of SDS-polyacrylamide gel suggested that the purified enzyme is a homogeneous protein and the molecular mass is approximately 34 kDa. The purified enzyme showed activity of 0.8 U/ml in a plasminogen-rich fibrin plate, while its activity in a plasminogen-free fibrin plate was only 0.36 U/ml. These results suggested that the purified enzyme acts as a plasminogen activator. The fibrinolytic activity of the enzyme under the supplementation of protease inhibitors, $\varepsilon$-ACA, t-AMCHA and mercuric chloride in the enzyme reaction was less than 24%, indicating that it could be modulated by the plasmin and/or fibrinogen inhibitors involved in the fibrinogen-to-fibrin converting process. As time passed, $Zn^{2+}$, a heavy metal ion, inhibited the activity to 34.1%. The optimum temperature of the purified enzyme was approximately $50^{\circ}C$ and over 92% of the enzyme activity was maintained between pH 5.0 and 8.0. Therefore, our results provide a potential fibrinolytic enzyme as a noble thrombolytic agent from S. corcohrussi.

  • The effects of temperature, light, and salinity on the growth of Costaria costata and Undaria pinnatifida juveniles were examined in laboratory cultures. In a cultivation farm, the monthly yield and density were also investigated between December and April for C. costata and between December and March in 2007 and 2008 for U. pinnatifida. The relative growth rates (RGRs) were greater at $20{\sim}60\;{\mu}mol$ photons $m^{-2}s^{-1}$ than at low ($0{\sim}10\;{\mu}mol$ photons $m^{-2}s^{-1}$) and high ($100{\sim}180\;{\mu}mol$ photons $m^{-2}s^{-1}$) irradiance levels. The optimal growth conditions for the two species were $17^{\circ}C$, 35 psu, $60\;{\mu}mol$ photons $m^{-2}s^{-1}$, and a daylength of 12 h, indicating that C. costata and U. pinnatifida have very similar growth responses to temperature, light, and salinity. However, the growth responses of the two species to various environmental factors were different; C. costata grew faster than U. pinnatifida but the latter species grew well at low salinity. The monthly yield of C. costata and U. pinnatifida increased steadily over the study period, and it was maximal in March for both species, but the yield of U. pinnatifida was greater than that of C. costata.

  • Hanwoo young bulls are selected based on performance test using the weight at 12 months and pedigree index comprising marbling score. Pedigree index was not based on the progeny tested data but the breeding value of the proven bulls; resulting a lower accuracy. The progeny testing of the young bulls was categorized into testing at farm and at the test station. The farm tested data was difficult to compare with those from test station data. Farm tested bulls had different slaughter ages than those for test station bulls. Therefore, this study had considered a different age at slaughter for respective records on ultrasound traits. Records on body weight at 12 months, ultrasound measures at 12 and 24 months(uIMF, uEMA, uBFT, and uRFT), and carcass traits(CWT, EMA, BFT, and MS) were collected from steers and bulls of Hanwoo national improvement scheme between 2008 and 2013. Fixed effects of batch, test date, test station, personnel for measurement, personnel for judging, and a linear covariate of weight at measurement were fitted in the animal models for ultrasound traits. The ranges of heritability estimates of the ultrasound traits at 12 and 24 months were 0.21-0.43 and 0.32-0.47, respectively. Ultrasound traits at 12 and 24 months between similar carcass traits was genetically correlated at 0.52-0.75 and 0.86-0.89, respectively.

  • Specimens of Austinogebia wuhsienweni (Yu, 1931) previously recorded from China to Japan were collected at a manila clam farm of 0.5 m depth in Hongseong, Yellow Sea. They were briefly described and illustrations included color photographs, since this was the first record of this rare species from Korean waters. Three species of Upogebiidae are known from Korean waters: Upogebia major (De Haan, 1839), U. issaeffi (Balss, 1913), and A. wuhsienweni (Yu, 1931). They are similar to each other, however, the presence of the ventral spines of the rostrum, a proximal knob on the lateral margin of the uropodal endopod, and a longitudinal carina on the inner surface of the palm of the male first pereiopod can easily distinguish the present species from the two species of Upogebia.

  • Organic acid is made with carbonized organic acid that is produced from charcoal burning process. It is evaluated whether carbonized organic acid is able to removed Enteromorpha in the laboratory and Porphra aquaculture farm test. The optimum condition for Enteromorpha removal are revealed ten times dilution and ten second immersion. The mortality rate of Enteromorpha is $95\%$ and diatom-detaching rate is $100\%$ by the organic acid treatment. On the other hand, the mortality rate of Porphra is lower than $5%\$. It was measured that nitrogen was 0.175 mg/l and phosphorus was 0.0158 mg/l. Therefore, Concentration of nutrients were lower than being necessary to Porphra growth. Growth rate of Porphra was $12\%$ increased by organic acid treatment with carbonized organic acid added nutrient.

  • The incomplete treatment of the swinery wastewater is one of the major factors of the river contamination resulting from an eutrophication. Even through many treatments were considered to reduce the contamination of the river by the swinery wastewater, the most effective treatment was not developed yet. Therefore, this project was focused on the development of the treatment that was a low cost and a high efficiency using a steel-making slag. The swinery wastewater was passed through a U-type tube packing the slag in the laboratory. And the swinery wastewater was cleaned effectively in the laboratory experiment. Based on these laboratory results, the treatment facility in a stock farm was constructed to confirm the effect of slag on the first-treated swinery wastewater. After the treatment of the first-treated swinery wastewater through the slag, the water quality of the river was improved and the biodiversity was increased.
