  • In recent years, several interesting families of generating functions for various classes of hypergeometric functions were investigated systematically. In the present paper, we introduce a new family of extended Wright type hypergeometric function and obtain several classes of generating relations for this extended Wright type hypergeometric function.

  • M. Cohen and S. Montgomery showed that a Maschke-type theorem for the smash product, which unlike the corresponding result for group actions, does not require any assumptions about the characterstic of the algebra. Our purpose in this paper is a Maschke-type theorem for the graded smash coproduct C⋊kG: let V be a right C⋊kG-comodule and W a C⋊kG-subcomoduleof V which is a C-direct summand of V. Then W is a C⋊kG-direct summand of V. Also this result is equivalent to the following : let V be a graded right C-comodule and W a graded subcomodule of V which has a complement as a C-subcomodule of V. Then W has a graded complement.

  • 8$\times$8 bit scaled SONOSFET NAND type flash EEPROM that shows better characteristics on cell density and endurance than NOR type have been designed and its electrical characteristics are verified with computer aided simulation. For the simulation, the spice model parameter was extracted from the sealed down SONOSFET that was fabricated by $1.5mutextrm{m}$ topological design rule. To improve the endurance of the device, the EEPROM design to have modified Fowler-Nordheim tunneling through the whole channel area in Write/Erase operation. As a result, it operates Write/Erase operation at low current, and has been proven Its good endurance. The NAND type flash EEPROM, which has upper limit of V$_{th}$, has the upper limit of V$_{th}$ as 4.5V. It is better than that of floating gate as 4V. And a EEPROM using the SONOSFET without scaling (65$\AA$-l65$\AA$-35$\AA$), was also designed and its characteristics have been compared. It has more possibliity of error from the V$_{th}$ upper limit as 4V, and takes more time for Read operation due to low current. As a consequence, it is proven that scaled down SONOSFET is more pertinent than existing floating gate or SONOSFET without scaling for the NAND type flash EEPROM.EPROM.

  • Crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated cables are now widely used all over the world for extra-high voltage underground transmission systems. Prefabricated type (compression type) joint has developed in order to shorten the assembly time and lower the possibility of contamination at site by many companies in the world. For outdoor termination, to control the electric field distribution as uniform as possible, especially for the use of extra-high voltage system. much of products are adopting the oil-impregnated condensor cone type instead of electric field control element which uses the permitivity of it only (not capacitance). For Gas-immersed termination, dimension of outer insulation bushing was determined by IEC Publication 859. The highest voltage of underground power cable system is 345kV now, in Korea. We have much of experiences of the development of prefabricated type accessories for CV cable systems (154kV, 161kV, 230kV level). So it was possible to inspect the proto type of accessories for 345kV CV cable system and seems that the need time for the development of products is reduced.

저토심 옥상녹화 시스템에서 돌나물(Sedum sarmentosum)의 생육에 대한 인공배지 종류, 토심, 그리고 배수 형태의 효과 (Effects of Artificial Substrate Type, Soil Depth, and Drainage Type on the Growth of Sedum sarmentosum Grown in a Shallow Green Rooftop System)

  • This study was carried out to research and develop a shallow green rooftop system which would require low maintenance and therefore could be used for existing rooftops. To achieve these goals, the conceptual model was induced by past studies and the experimental systems were deduced from the conceptual model. On the growth of Sedum sarmentosum grown in these rooftop systems, the effects of artificial substrate type, soil depth, and drainage type were investigated from 3 April to 11 October 2002. Artificial substrates were an alone type and a blending type. The alone type was an artificial substrate formulated by blending crushed porous glass with bark(v/v, 6:4). The blending type was formulated by blending the alone type with loam(v/v, 1:1). Soil depths were 5cm, loom, and 15cm. Drainage types were a reservoir-drainage type and a drainage type. The reservoir-drainage type could keep water and drain excessive water at the same time. The drainage type could drain excessive water but could not keep water. Covering area, total fresh and dry weight, visual quality, and water content per 1g dry matter were measured. All the variables were analyzed by correlation analysis and factor analysis. The results of the study are summarized as follows. The growth increment was higher in the blending type than in the alone type, the highest in loom soil depth and higher in the reservoir-drainage type than in the drainage type. The growth quality was higher in the blending type than in the alone type, the highest in l0cm soil depth, and higher in the drainage type than in the reservoir-drainage type. In consideration of the permissible load on the existing rooftops and the effects of the treatments on the growth increment and quality, the system should adopt the blending type in artificial substrate types, 5~10cm in soil depths, and the drainage type in drainage types. This system will be well-suited to the growth of Sedum sarmentosum, and when the artificial substrate was in field capacity, the weight will be 75~115kg/$m^2$.

Fallot 4징증의 근치수술에 대한 임상적 고찰 (A review of the total correction of tetralogy of Fallot)

  • The experience with operative treatment for total correction of Tetralogy of Fallot at the department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Korea University Hospital from January, 1977, through April, 1983 was reviewed. Of the 29 patients reviewed, male to female occurrence ratio was 22:7 Type of V.S.D. was type II in 26 cases[90%] and total conus defect in 3 cases[10%]. Average size of V.S.D. was 19 mm. Type of Right ventricular outflow tract stenosis was highest frequency with pulmonary valvular and infundibular stenosis combined type in 21 cases[72%], and there were 8 deaths In this group. Type of R.V.O.T. reconstruction contains 2 cases of infundibulectomy only, 1 case of infundibulectomy with valvular commissurotomy, 2 cases of pericardial patch, 23 Cases of pericardial patch with Teflon or Dacron felt reinforced and 1 case of pulmonary valved conduit reconstruction. Operative mortality was higher in outflow patch through pulmonary valve ring. Overall mortality was 31%. Major causes of death and postoperative complications were low output syndrome, complete A-V block acute renal failure, ventricular fibrillation, bleeding brain abscess, and sudden cardiac arrest.

Flame-holder를 장착한 Dump Type Ram-combustor의 연소성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Combustion Performance in Dump type Ram-combustor Equipped for Flame-holder)

  • Dump type Ram-combustor의 성능 개선을 위한 화염 안정화 장치인 V-gutter를 장착하고 그 영향을 파악하기 위한 본 실험에서 V-gutter가 없고, Ram-combustor의 길이가 짧을 경우($L_c$=300mm)에는 출구중앙의 온도가 감소하는 경향이 나타났고 Ram-combustor의 길이가 증가하면($L_c$=500mm) 중앙에서 온도가 감소되는 현상은 나타나지 않지만 화염은 아직도 Ram-combustor의 아래 부분에 치우쳐있다. V-gutter가 장착된 경우 Ram-combustor 출구의 온도 분포는 훨씬 균일하게 분포되었다. 그리고 Ram-combustor의 길이가 짧을 때($L_c$=300mm) 연소효율의 경우 V-gutter을 장착한 경우 연소효율은 약간 증가하지만 큰 영향은 없음을 알 수 있다.

바나듐 옥사이드 박막의 성장 및 그 구조적, 전기적, 광학적 특성 (Sol-gel growth and structural, electrical, and optical properties of vanadium-based oxide thin films)

  • $V_2O_3$, $VO_2$, $V_2O_5$ 박막들이 하나의 선구 용액으로부터 다양한 후열처리 조건을 통하여 제작될 수 있었다. 진공 중 후열처리 시 rhombohedral 구조의 $V_2O_3$ 박막이 형성되어졌고, 공기 중 후열처리 시 orthorhombic 구조의 $V_2O_5$ 박막을 얻을 수 있었다. Monoclinic 구조의 $VO_2$ 박막은 진공 후열처리 중 $O_2$ 가스를 공급함으로써 제작될 수 있었다. $V_2O_3$ 박막이 상온에서 도체적 특성을 보이는 반면, $V_2O_5$, $VO_2$ 박막은 반도체적 성질을 지니고 있음을 전기적, 광학적 특성 조사를 통하여 알 수 있었다. 크롬(Cr)이 도핑됨에 따라 $VO_2$ 박막은 그 전기전도성이 n-type에서 p-type으로 변화하였고 비저항이 감소되는 결과를 나타내었다. 또한, 크롬 도핑된 $VO_2$ 박막은 orthorhombic 구조를 나타내었다. 이와 같은 바나듐 옥사이드 박막들에서 관측된 광학적 흡수 구조들은 O 2p 에서 V 3d 밴드로의 전이에 의한 것으로 해석되어진다. 바나듐 이온의 $t_{2g}$ 상태와 $e_g$ 상태 사이의 결정장 갈라짐(crystal-field splitting)은 $V_2O_5$$VO_2$에 대해서 각각 1.5 및 1.0 eV로 해석된다.

Differential Expression of Four $Ca_v$3.1 Splice Variants in the Repeat III-IV Loop

  • Molecular cloning revealed the three isoforms($Ca_v3.1,\;Ca_v3.2,\;and\;Ca_v3.3$) of the T-type calcium channel subfamily. Expression studies exhibited their distinctive electrophysiological and pharmacological properties, accounting for diverse properties of T-type calcium channel currents previously characterized from isolated cells. However, electrophysiological properties of ion channels have shown to be more diversified by their splice variants. We here searched splice variants of rat $Ca_v3.1$ T-type channel by reverse-transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) to further explore diversity of $Ca_v3.1$. Interestingly, analyses of cloned RT-PCR products displayed that there were at least four splicing variants of rat $Ca_v3.1$ in the loop connecting repeats III and IV. Southern blot analyses indicated that the predominantly detected variant in brain was $Ca_v3.1a$(492 bp), which were rarely detected in most of peripheral tissues. Other two variants($Ca_v3.1c$, 546 bp; $Ca_v3.1d$, 525 bp) were detected in most of the tissues examined. The smallest isoform($Ca_v3.1b$, 471 bp) was rarely detected all the tissues. Electrophysiological characterization of the splicing variants indicated that the splice variants differ in inactivation kinetics and the voltage dependence of activation and inactivation as well.

이중 적층 구조 표적을 갖는 투과형 엑스선관의 몬테카를로 전산모사 (Monte Carlo Simulation of Transmission-Type X-ray Tube with Dual-Structured Target)

  • 엑스선형광분석은 비파괴적으로 시료에 포함된 원소와 농도를 분석할 수 있는 기법으로 과학 및 산업 분야에 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 다양한 물질을 포함한 혼합물 또는 화합물 분석의 정밀도 향상을 위해 10 keV 근방의 저에너지와 20 keV 근방의 에너지 영역에 높은 강도 분포를 갖는 엑스선관이 요구된다. 두 에너지 영역에서 높은 강도 분포를 갖는 스펙트럼을 얻기 위하여 9.65 keV의 특성엑스선을 가지는 텅스텐과 17.48 keV의 몰리브덴 두 물질을 적층한 구조의 표적을 가지는 투과형 엑스선관을 몬테카를로 전산모사를 통해 스펙트럼을 분석하였다. W-Mo 구조의 표적을 통해 10 keV와 20 keV 근방의 강한 강도를 갖는 특성엑스선을 얻었다. 또한 4 ㎛ 두께의 Mo-W multilayers 구조의 표적을 통해 최적의 강도 분포를 갖는 스펙트럼을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 다양한 표적 물질을 선택 조합하고 두께 최적화를 통해 원하는 에너지 대역에서 높은 강도 분포를 갖는 스펙트럼을 얻는 것이 가능하다.
