동력경운기의 경사지견인 및 주행특성에 관한 연구 (II)-동력경운기-트레일러계의 욍골동 및 동횡전도한계 (Study on the Travel and Tractive Characteristics of The Two-Wheel Tractor on the General Slope Ground (II)-Dynamic Side-overturn of the Tiller-trailer System-)

  • Power tiller is a major unit of agricultural machinery being used on farms in Korea. About 180.000 units are introduced by 1977 and the demand for power tiller is continuously increasing as the farm mechanization progress. Major farming operations done by power tiller are the tillage, pumping, spraying, threshing, and hauling by exchanging the corresponding implements. In addition to their use on a relatively mild slope ground at present, it is also expected that many of power tillers could be operated on much inclined land to be developed by upland enlargement programmed. Therefore, research should be undertaken to solve many problems related to an effective untilization of power tillers on slope ground. The major objective of this study was to find out the travelling and tractive characteristics of power tillers being operated on general slope ground.In order to find out the critical travelling velocity and stability limit of slope ground for the side sliding and the dynamic side overturn of the tiller and tiller-trailer system, the mathematical model was developed based on a simplified physical model. The results analyzed through the model may be summarized as follows; (1) In case of no collision with an obstacle on ground, the equation of the dynamic side overturn developed was: $$\sum_n^{i=1}W_ia_s(cos\alpha cos\phi-{\frac {C_1V^2sin\phi}{gRcos\beta})-I_{AB}\frac {v^2}{Rr}}=0$$ In case of collision with an obstacle on ground, the equation was: $$\sum_n^{i=1}W_ia_s\{cos\alpha(1-sin\phi_1)-{\frac {C_1V^2sin\phi}{gRcos\beta}\}-\frac {1}{2}I_{TP} \( {\frac {2kV_2} {d_1+d_2}\)-I_{AB}{\frac{V^2}{Rr}} \( \frac {\pi}{2}-\frac {\pi}{180}\phi_2 \} = 0 $$ (2) As the angle of steering direction was increased, the critical travelling veloc\ulcornerities of side sliding and dynamic side overturn were decreased. (3) The critical travelling velocity was influenced by both the side slope angle .and the direct angle. In case of no collision with an obstacle, the critical velocity $V_c$ was 2.76-4.83m/sec at $\alpha=0^\circ$, $\beta=20^\circ$ ; and in case of collision with an obstacle, the critical velocity $V_{cc}$ was 1.39-1.5m/sec at $\alpha=0^\circ$, $\beta=20^\circ$ (4) In case of no collision with an obstacle, the dynamic side overturn was stimu\ulcornerlated by the carrying load but in case of collision with an obstacle, the danger of the dynamic side overturn was decreased by the carrying load. (5) When the system travels downward with the first set of high speed the limit {)f slope angle of side sliding was $\beta=5^\circ-10^\circ$ and when travels upward with the first set of high speed, the limit of angle of side sliding was $\beta=10^\circ-17.4^\circ$ (6) In case of running downward with the first set of high speed and collision with an obstacle, the limit of slope angle of the dynamic side overturn was = $12^\circ-17^\circ$ and in case of running upward with the first set of high speed and collision <>f upper wheels with an obstacle, the limit of slope angle of dynamic side overturn collision of upper wheels against an obstacle was $\beta=22^\circ-33^\circ$ at $\alpha=0^\circ -17.4^\circ$, respectively. (7) In case of running up and downward with the first set of high speed and no collision with an obstacle, the limit of slope angle of dynamic side overturn was $\beta=30^\circ-35^\circ$ (8) When the power tiller without implement attached travels up and down on the general slope ground with first set of high speed, the limit of slope angle of dynamic side overturn was $\beta=32^\circ-39^\circ$ in case of no collision with an obstacle, and $\beta=11^\circ-22^\circ$ in case of collision with an obstacle, respectively.

볼 벨런싱 로봇에 관한 연구 (A Research on Ball-Balancing Robot)

  • 본 논문의 내용은 기존의 차륜식 로봇과는 차별화된 전-방향 구동이 가능한 모듈 개발을 통하여, 기존 모듈의 이동로봇이 가지는 단점인 측면주행성능 저하, 단순 작업주행 경로, 회전-직진 반복 주행으로 인한 불필요한 주행소요시간의 증대 등의 단점을 극복할 수 있을 것이다. 볼-벨런싱 로봇을 구동하기 위한 전-방향 구형휠 구동모듈은 3개의 로터캐스터를 이용한 로봇의 전-방향으로 구동하기 위한 동력전달 메커니즘과 주행을 위한 알고리즘 개발이 요구된다. 3DoF(축) 전-방향 이동 알고리즘이 내장된 드라이버가 모듈에 내장되고, 주행 방향 및 속도를 위한 3DoF(축)의 구동 모터 모듈이 장착된다. 이동 메커니즘으로는 각 구동바퀴의 회전 벡터 합에 따른다. 두 개 또는 세 개의 구동바퀴의 회전과 벡터 합에 따른 다양한 이동방향을 만들어 낼 수 있다. 각 구동바퀴의 회전 벡터장의 여하에 따라 다른 방향으로도 이동이 가능하다. 전-방향 이동을 위한 보다 혁신적인 전-방향 구형휠 구동모듈이 개발되면, 이동로봇의 구동부에 사용되어 로봇의 성능을 기술적으로 좀 더 향상시킬 수 있으며, 구동모듈이 적용된 전-방향로봇 플랫폼을 통하여 기존 차륜식 로봇의 경우 각종 환경에 대한 저항성으로 인해 연속 직진 성능이 저하되는 단점을 극복할 수 있어서 미주, 유럽과 같은 환경에서 적용될 수 있는 청소로봇, 이동로봇뿐만 아니라 전-방향 주행 기능이 요구되는 안내로봇, 탑승형 로봇, 이동수단 등에 필수적인 기술이 될 것이고 지능형서비스로봇 시장과 미래형 자동차시장의 확대에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

철도신호시스템 중첩운영으로 인한 전자파장해현상 분석 및 대책 (Analysis of EMI Between Overlapped Railway Signalling Systems and Its Countermeasure)

  • ATS(Automatic Train Stop) system makes train stop when it runs over the speed limit and ensure the safe operation of train. Seoul Metro line 2 in Korea, which started its passenger service in 1982, has adopted ATS system for its signaling system. The ATS system has only a train stop function at the time of emergency, and Seoul Metro is planning to replaced them with ATC(Automatic Train Control)/ATO(Automatic Train Operation) system which can provide the dedicated speed control for headway reduction and automatic operation of train. Until all the ATS system is replaced with the new ATC system, both systems are to operate simultaneously at the same metro line. In this situation, ATS system sometimes reveals improper operation: train stops suddenly without any obstacles in front of it. These emergency stops cause interruption of passenger service, and abnormal abrasion of wheels and rail. This paper makes it clear that these interruptions are caused by EMI phenomena between ATS on-board device and ATC wayside device : Signal current flowing in AF track circuit of ATC is turn out to be a EMI source that prevent normal operation of the ATS on-board device. Although the two systems have different frequency-ranges (ATS system has frequency range between $78{\sim}130$[kHz] and ATC system has frequency range between $9.5{\sim}16.5$[kHz]), it turned out that EMI phenomena appears between the both systems. This is investigated by measuring the output signal from ATS on-board device passing over ATC wayside device. The FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) analysis of the signal reveals that AF track circuit signal is transmitted to the ATS on-board device and induce noise causing improper operation. The countermeasures to the EMI phenomena are examined in three ways; blocking EMI transmission, enforcement of EMS (Electromagnetic Susceptibility) of ATS on-board device, and blocking the EMI source. It is suggested that the practical solution be blocking EMI source temporarily, that is breaking AF track circuit signal when the trains with ATS on-board device pass over it. To this purpose, TODS(Train Occupation Detection System) is developed, and has made a success in preventing the EMI problem of Seoul Metro line 2.

Rotary Mower의 제작과 그 이용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Rotary Mower and Its Utilization.)

  • Since the most of Korean dairy and cattle raising farms are too small to introduce western mechanized farming, it is necessary to develope small size equipments. This study has been carried to develop a rotary mower as on attachment of 8 to 10 horse powertiller which is widely spread in rural area. It will not ony be helpfull for the farmers to harvesting hay grass but also desirable to increase the power tiller utility. The protto type rotary mower designed through the fundamental investigations, has been modified and improved through the field trials, and a series of field tests has been carried to investigate its performance and economic feasibility comparing with existing vailable harvesting equipments. The results are as follows; 1. To increase the stability, two guide wheels are attached to both side of the protto type rotary mower. 2. To prevent the clinging of tall grasses, the vertical driving shafts are covered with cylindrical protectors. 3. The cutting height is adjustable in 8 steps from 2.5 to 20 centimeters by changing the length of guide wheel legs. 4. The practical Critical cutting speed were always higher than theoretical value in both case of single cutting blade and three when the cutting depth was 25 millimeter. 5. The peripheral speed of cutting blade was varied in response to the change of engine speed, mean while the peripheral speed was adequate as it was changhed from 25 to 35 meter per second when the power tiller is operated in proper working ground speed. 6. The time requirement to harvest 10 a were 88.7, 54.6 and 41.4 minutes for the first, second and third stage of ground speed respectively, and because of the difficulty of delivery, it was observed that operating with fourth stage of ground speed was not recomanendable when the grass height is taller than 90 centimeters. 7. The performance of rotary mower were 1.1-1.7, 1.4-4.0, 3.8-11.8 and 7.4-22.0 times of reciprocating mower, portable disc type cutter, hay scythe and ordinary sickle respectively. 8. When the slope exceeds, 20 degree the downward harvesting operation was impossible because of the excessive front end weight, while less than 5 degree of land slope did not effect in field operation. 9. Increased traveling spee caused higher cutting height and slight cutting failure, but seems not to effect to the gross yield, and the efficiency of cutting width were from 83 to 94 precent. 10. Tn rank of economy were rotary mower (3,2 stage operation), reciprocating mower, hay scythe, portable disc type cutter and sickle in order when the annul operation exdeeds 100 hours. From the above results, it is convinced that the protto type rotary mower is good enough to the livestock farmers as a hay harvesting equipment because of its economy, hardiness in operating and its out standing performance and hopefully it will contribute to the extension of Korean livestock farming.

고속철도차량용 차륜 불평형에 의한 동적 거동 특성 연구 (Study on the Dynamic Behavior Characteristics due to the Unbalance High Speed Railway Vehicle Wheel)

  • 회전체는 질량 중심선이 축의 기하학적 중심선과 일치하지 않을 때 불평형이 발생한다. 윤축은 두 개의 차륜과 한 개의 차축으로 조립되어 철도차량을 주행시키는 회전체 역할을 하고, 차륜 재질의 불균일, 마모, 윤축 조립과정의 오차 등으로 인해 불평형이 발생할 수 있다. 또한 윤축은 축의 직경이 가늘고 고속으로 회전함으로 불평형 질량에 의한 진동의 영향이 더욱 두드러지게 나타나고 이로 인해 철도차량 고속 주행 시 주행안전성 및 주행거동에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 차륜 불평형이 고속철도차량의 동적 거동에 미치는 영향을 철도차량 다물체 동역학 해석 도구인 VI-Rail를 이용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과에서 차륜 불평형량이 증가할수록 철도차량 대차의 임계속도가 감소됨을 확인할 수 있었고, 차륜 불평형량이 주행 중 차량동적거동 악영향을 미침으로 고속주행에서는 반드시 차륜 불평형량에 대한 관리가 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 이 연구로 차륜 불평형량의 정적 및 동적 관리 필요성을 국내 철도차량 운영기관에 제시하였다.

소형 터보과급기 로터의 관성모멘트 측정 (Measurement of Moment of Inertia of a Small Turbocharger Rotor)

  • 본 논문은 엔진 다운사이징의 관점에서 널리 사용되는 터보과급기 로터의 관성모멘트 측정에 관한 연구이다. Trifilar 방법을 이용하여 관성모멘트를 측정하기 위한 장치를 설계 제작한 후, 장치를 검증하기 위하여 교정로터의 관성모멘트를 측정하였다. 측정의 변동계수는 0.43%, CAD 도면의 관성모멘트와 비교하여 0.75% 오차를 보여 개발된 측정장치가 로터의 관성모멘트 측정에 적합함을 확인하였다. 소형 터보과급기의 터빈 로터와 압축기 휠 각 2개에 대한 관성모멘트 측정을 수행하여 1.0% 미만의 변동계수를 보여 정밀한 측정이 가능함을 보였다. 그러나 CAD 도면의 관성모멘트와 비교한 오차는 터빈 로터는 2.76%와 1.30%로 양호하였으나, 압축기 휠의 경우 27.6%와 24.4%로 상당히 크게 나타났다. 연구에 사용된 압축기 휠은 질량이 소형으로 상대적으로 공기저항이 크고 정확한 주기 측정의 어려움으로 큰 오차를 보였다. 따라서 터빈 로터와 압축기 휠을 결합한 상태에서 측정한 값에서 터빈 로터의 관성모멘트를 빼는 간접 방법으로 측정을 수행하였다. 이때 압축기 휠의 관성모멘트 측정에서 1.2% 미만의 변동계수를 보이고 오차는 5.68%, 7.88%의 값을 보였다.

누에똥 간이 수집장치 개발 (Development of Collecting System of Silkworm Excreta Using a Devised Equipment)

  • 효율적으로 누에똥을 수집할 수 있는 사육장치 및 수집기를 개발하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 1. 사육장치 무게를 경량화하고 조립식 및 바퀴를 부착하여 급상 및 수집작업시 편리성을 제고하였다. 2. 누에자리망 크기별 수집량은 7.0*7.0 mm망 이용시 5.0*5.0 mm 대비 36% 많았으나, 떨어지는 누에가 5령 사육기간 동안 다소(0.3%) 있었다. 3. 누에 수거기를 이용한 수집노력은 수작업 대비 37%의 절감효과가 있었다. 4. 상자당 누에똥 수집량은 2단 사육시 19.7kg의 잠분이 수집되었다. 5. 노동투하시간(시간/상자)은 현행(손수집) 대비 개선(수집기)이 65%수준으로 35%의 노력절감이 있었고 노동생산성(kg/시간)은 55% 증가하였다. 6. 생산비에서도 현행 대비 개선이 35.9% 비용절감이 있었다. 7 누에수거 및 누에통수거시 흡입구 조절할 수 있도록 제작하였다.

Wheel tread defect detection for high-speed trains using FBG-based online monitoring techniques

  • The problem of wheel tread defects has become a major challenge for the health management of high-speed rail as a wheel defect with small radius deviation may suffice to give rise to severe damage on both the train bogie components and the track structure when a train runs at high speeds. It is thus highly desirable to detect the defects soon after their occurrences and then conduct wheel turning for the defective wheelsets. Online wheel condition monitoring using wheel impact load detector (WILD) can be an effective solution, since it can assess the wheel condition and detect potential defects during train passage. This study aims to develop an FBG-based track-side wheel condition monitoring method for the detection of wheel tread defects. The track-side sensing system uses two FBG strain gauge arrays mounted on the rail foot, measuring the dynamic strains of the paired rails excited by passing wheelsets. Each FBG array has a length of about 3 m, slightly longer than the wheel circumference to ensure a full coverage for the detection of any potential defect on the tread. A defect detection algorithm is developed for using the online-monitored rail responses to identify the potential wheel tread defects. This algorithm consists of three steps: 1) strain data pre-processing by using a data smoothing technique to remove the trends; 2) diagnosis of novel responses by outlier analysis for the normalized data; and 3) local defect identification by a refined analysis on the novel responses extracted in Step 2. To verify the proposed method, a field test was conducted using a test train incorporating defective wheels. The train ran at different speeds on an instrumented track with the purpose of wheel condition monitoring. By using the proposed method to process the monitoring data, all the defects were identified and the results agreed well with those from the static inspection of the wheelsets in the depot. A comparison is also drawn for the detection accuracy under different running speeds of the test train, and the results show that the proposed method can achieve a satisfactory accuracy in wheel defect detection when the train runs at a speed higher than 30 kph. Some minor defects with a depth of 0.05 mm~0.06 mm are also successfully detected.

Gyroscope Free 관성 항법 장치의 데이터 보정을 위한 퍼지 추론 시스템 (Fuzzy Inference System for Data Calibration of Gyroscope Free Inertial Navigation System)

  • 본 논문은 퍼지 추론 시스템(FIS: fuzzy inference system)을 이용하여 자이로스코프를 사용하지 않는 관성 항법 장치(GFINS: gyroscope free inertial navigation system)의 가속도계 데이터를 보정하는 방법에 관한 연구이다. 일반적인 관성항법 장치(INS: inertial navigation system)는 주로 가속도계와 같은 병진운동을 감지하는 관성 센서와 자이로스코프와 같은 회전 운동을 감지하는 관성 센서를 이용하여 위치와 yaw각을 측정하는 장치이다. 하지만 INS는 자이로스코프를 사용하기 때문에 소형화 및 저전력 설계가 어렵다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 자이로스코프를 사용하지 않는 GFINS에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. GFINS에 사용되는 가속도계는 적분과 외란에 의한 오차가 시간이 지남에 따라 누적되는 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 가속도계의 누적 오차 문제를 해결하기 위해, 레이저 내비게이션과 가속도계의 선속도 비율과 엔코더와 가속도계의 선속도 비율을 통해 GFINS의 데이터를 보정하는 FIS를 제안한다. 제안된 Fuzzy-GFINS를 평가하기 위해, 직접 제작한 메카넘 휠 AGV(autonomous ground vehicle)에 제안된 GFINS를 적용하였다. 실험 결과, 제안된 방법이 GFINS의 출력 데이터를 효과적으로 보정하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

핀란드 초등 과학 교과서의 소재중심 통합단원 분석 (Analysis of Characteristics of Material-Centered Integrated Unit in Finland Elementary Science Textbook)

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp the characteristics of composition regarding the material-centered integrated unit of environmental and natural studies, a science subject in Finland, to investigate a need for applying the material-centered integrated unit to the science curriculum of Korea. For the purpose, the study made an analysis on contents, inquiry activities, and visual materials (the most important in the elementary science curriculum and textbook composition), and it brought following results: First, as a result of analyzing the area of contents, the bicycle material-centered integrated unit comprised a large proportion of 44 pages (25.3%) of the whole 174 pages from the environmental and natural studies textbook for the third grade. The contents included such various concepts as traffic rules, safety, environmental protection and pollution, recycling and separate collection, tubes and triangular structures, wedges and screws, leverage, wheels, axles, gears, elasticity (spring), friction, and so on. Second, as a result of analyzing contents related to the thinking ability of inquiry activities, "expecting or confirming expectations" and "application" are included in every lesson, and one lesson is composed in such a way that students can study on bicycles as a practical material for their daily life and they can improve various thinking abilities. Third, as a result of analyzing the circumstances of inquiry activities, daily circumstances made up eight lessons (80.0%) and technical and social circumstances made up two lessons (20.0%) by focusing on bicycles, a material related to students' daily life. Fourth, as a result of analyzing visual materials, the percentage of pictures and photos was high at 53.4% and 45.2% respectively. As a result of analyzing the role of visual materials, the percentage of the illustrative role and explanatory-complementary role was high at 52.1% and 47.9% respectively. Lastly, as a result of analyzing from the epistemological view to interpret the relation between visual materials and students and the position of visual materials, the visual textbook materials were provided toward a way that students can decrease their feeling of epistemological separation in the three fields of ideational metafunction, interpersonal metafunction, and textual metafunction.
