The IPSec is a basic security mechanism of the IPv6 protocol, which can guarantee an integrity and confidentiality of data that transmit between two corresponding hosts. Also, both data and communication subjects can be authenticated using the IPSec mechanism. However, it is difficult that the IPSec mechanism protects major important network from attacks which transmit mass abnormal IPSec traffic in session-configuration or communication phases. In this paper, we present a design of the security system that can effectively detect and defeat abnormal IPSec traffic, which is encrypted by the ESP extension header, using the IPSec Session and Configuration table without any decryption. This security system is closely based on a multi-tier attack mitigation mechanism which is based on network bandwidth management and aims to counteract DDoS attacks and DoS effects of worm activity.
Data is indispensable for digital transformation of agriculture with the development of innovative information and communication technology (ICT). In order to devise and prioritize strategies for enhancing data competitiveness in the agricultural sector, we employed an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis. Drawing from existing research on data competitiveness indicators, we developed a three-tier decision-making structure reflecting unique characteristics of the agricultural sector such as farmers'awareness of the data industry or awareness of agriculture among data workers. AHP survey was administered to experts from both agricultural and non-agricultural sectors with a high understanding of data. The overall composite importance, derived from the respondents, was rated in the following order: 'Employment Support', 'Data Standardization', 'R&D Support', 'Start-up Ecosystem Support', 'Relaxation of Regulations', 'Legislation', and 'Data Analytics and Utilization Technology'. In the case of experts in the agricultural sector, 'Employment Support' was ranked as the top priorities, and 'Legislation', 'Undergrad and Grad Education', and 'In-house Training' were also regarded as highly important. On the other hand, experts in the non-agricultural sector perceived 'Data Standardization' and 'Relaxation of Regulations' as the top two priorities, and 'Data Center' and 'Open Public Data' were also highly rated.
This study examines the features of globalization process in GM and Hyundai Motors, especially in the expansion into China auto market, through a joint venture(hereafter JV) research center. Due to the large scale market in China and the 50:50 JV, the two companies had to respond in some way to the Chinese government's request for localization of research and development functions, and their response affected the role of the JV research center. Even though the improvement in technological capability expected from the JV by the Chinese side did not appear well in the early stage in both JV, but relatively the Shanghai GM JV research center had a technological progress compared to the Beijing Hyundai JV research center. This paper explains the differences in the technical capabilities of the two JV research center, despite the same type of JV, as the difference between the status of the Chinese partner and the global strategy of the parent company. SAIC, a Chinese partner in Shanghai GM as a top-tier company, not only has been strongly demanding technology transfer from GM since the beginning of the JV, but has also made efforts to improve its own technical capabilities. Meanwhile, BAIC, a Chines partner in Beijing Hyundai as a mid-tier company, has not been strongly demanding technology transfer and lacked its own research base. Regarding the parent company's global strategy, although both companies controlled the core areas of research and development by their parent companies, GM actively considered using the Chinese RV to develop Chinese and emerging country vehicles. On the other hand, Hyundai Motors responded to the localization demand of the Chinese government while paying more attention to preventing technology leakage through its independent research center in China. The above discussion shows that the process of globalization of a company is a political process in which the global strategy of the parent company and the demands of the stakeholders surrounding the subsidiary are collided and compromised, rather than a process in which the harmony and cooperation between the parent company and its subsidiaries are smoothly achieved as the parent company's policies are unilaterally implemented.

In spite of school science learning, the students' conceptions have not been changed easily. Therefore, to make students overcome their non scientific conceptions has been an important issue in science education. The purpose of this study was to identify the conceptions of students and teachers on the motion of the earth and the moon. The instrument was developed for estimating students' understandings of the concepts related to the motion of the earth and the moon. The validity of the instrument was examined by the specialists in Science Educator and Astronomer. At the same time, the two field trials had been executed, and the items were modified. Also, it consists of 12 items including 9 two-tier multiple choice items and 3 multiple choice items. The population of this study consists of 250 eighth-, 299 tenth-, 292 eleventh-grade students, 134 science teachers in secondary school. SPSS/PC+ was adopted for the statistical analysis. The type of misconceptions possessed students were as follows: 1) At 12:00 noon, the sun is directly overhead. 2) First quarter moon is a half of overall surface of the moon. 3) Air don't rotate with the earth surface because it keeps apart from the earth surface. 4) Summer is warmer than winter, because the earth is nearer from the sun in summer. 5) Whenever season is changed, the direction of rotation axis of the earth is changed. 6) The moon is the brightest at the position of new moon, because the distance between the moon and the sun is the shortest and the moon is received strongest sunlight. 7) The moon is not seen at the position of real full moon, because it is covered with shadow of the earth. 8) When the moon is not seen in the earth, sunlight is not reached at the moon. The major findings were as follows : 1) The middle school students had more misconceptions than those of high school students. And female students had more misconceptions than those of male ones. 2) The rate of correct answer and the type of conception in the tenth grade students were very similar with eleventh grade students. 3) The higher cognitive level, the better development of scientific conception and the less misconception. Also, the correlation coefficient between scientific conception score and GALT score was 0.57. 4) The students in scientific part had higher the rate of correct answer than those of students in human part and the former had less misconception than the latter. 5) The rate of correct answer about model and figure items was lower than descriptive ones, because they did not understand about figures itselves. These types of misconceptions will be used for science instruction and studies of other conceptions need.
Reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) combustion is one of dual-fuel combustion systems which can be constructed by early diesel injection during the compression stroke to improve premixing between diesel and air. As a result, RCCI combustion promises low nitrogen oxides (NOx) and smoke emissions comparing to those of general dual-fuel combustion. For this combustion system, to meet the intensified emission regulations without emission after-treatment systems, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is necessary to reduce combustion temperature with lean premixed mixture condition. However, since EGR is supplied from the front of turbocharger system, intake pressure and the amount of fresh air supplementation are decreased as increasing EGR rate. For this reason, the effect of various EGR rates on the brake power and thermal efficiency of natural gas/diesel RCCI combustion under two different operating conditions in a 6 L compression ignition engine. Varying EGR rate would influence on the combustion characteristic and boosting condition simultaneously. For the 1,200/29 kW and 1,800 rpm/(lower than) 90 kW conditions, NOx and smoke emissions were controlled lower than the emission regulation of 'Tier-4 final' and the maximum in-cylinder pressure was 160 bar for the indurance of engine system. The results showed that under 1,200 rpm/29 kW condition, there were no changes in brake power and thermal efficiency. On the other hand, under 1,800 rpm condition, brake power and thermal efficieny were decreased from 90 to 65 kW and from 37 to 33 % respectively, because of deceasing intake pressure (from 2.3 to 1.8 bar). Therefore, it is better to supply EGR from the rear of compressor, i.e. low pressure EGR (LP-EGR) system, comparing to high pressure EGR (HP-EGR) for the improvement of RCCI power and thermal efficiency.
In order to improve the emission of diesel engines, natural gas-diesel dual fuel combustion compression ignition engines are in the spotlight. In particular, a reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) combustion strategy is investigated comprehensively due to its possibility to improve both efficiency and emissions. With advanced diesel direct injection timing earlier than TDC, it achieves spontaneous reaction with overall lean mixture from a homogeneous mixture in the entire cylinder area, reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) and improving braking heat efficiency at the same time. However, there is a disadvantage in that the amount of incomplete combustion increases in a low load region with a relatively small amount of fuel-air. To solve this, sensitive control according to the diesel injection timing and fuel ratio is required. In this study, experiments were conducted to improve efficiency and exhaust emissions of the natural gas-diesel dual fuel engine at low load, and evaluate combustion stability according to the diesel injection timing at the operation point for power generation. A 6 L-class commercial diesel engine was used for the experiment which was conducted under a 50% load range (~50 kW) at 1,800 rpm. Two injectors with different spray patterns were applied to the experiment, and the fraction of natural gas and diesel injection timing were selected as main parameters. Based on the experimental results, it was confirmed that the brake thermal efficiency increased by up to 1.3%p in the modified injector with the narrow-angle injection added. In addition, the spray pattern of the modified injector was suitable for premixed combustion, increasing operable range in consideration of combustion instability, torque reduction, and emissions level under Tier-V level (0.4 g/kWh for NOx).
The Warsaw Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air was adopted in 1929. In 1999, the ICAO adopted the Montreal Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air vastly modernizing the unification of private air law. The Montreal Convention replaced the instruments of the Warsaw system, and came into force on 4 November 2003. The Montreal Convention is not only an international convention. It has also exercised a considerable influence on national legislation. Korea has made the national legislation of the Part VI the Carriage by Air of Commercial Act on April 29, 2011, and it has brought into force on November 24, 2011. The national legislation of the Part VI the Carriage by Air of Commercial Act of Korea has the provisions on the liability for damage caused to passenger, the liability for damage caused to baggage, and the liability for damage caused to cargo. The main feature of the liability regime of the air carrier under the Montreal Convention is the two-tier liability system for death or injury of the passenger with strict liability up to 100,000 SDR and presumptive liability with a reversed burden of proof without any limit above that threshold. The national legislation of the Part VI the Carriage by Air of the Commercial Act of Korea has adopted the main principles of the liability of the air carrier under the Montreal Convention. In conclusion, the national legislation relating to the liability of the air carrier by the Korean government will contribute to settle efficiently the dispute on the carrier' liability in respect of the carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo by air, and to provide proper compensation to the passenger or consignor who has suffered damage, subject to the defenses and limitations it sets out.
The domestic AI speaker market is growing into a full-fledged early audience market beyond the innovative consumer market with 3 million domestic supply units at the end of 2018, but the reality is that for various reasons, we are not satisfied with the use. There are many previous papers on AI Speaker, but the majority of research so far tends to be biased towards the acceptance of the device's own performance. Many changes are being made, such as OTT providers trying to secure the market through collaboration with AI speaker providers. This study tried to identify the priorities for content services, which can be another major selection factor for AI speakers, excluding the factors of unsatisfactory technology. First, this study identified the priorities among AI speaker selection factors using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), based on the AI speaker selection factors derived through literature research. The most important hierarchical factor are Concierge Service, Education Service, and Entertainment Service order in AI speaker selection, and the primary content among the individual factors was the one that ranked weather/temperature/fine dust (11.6%) and child caring content was in the second place (10.8%), and then music service was in the third place (9.8%). The three top priorities were derived from the items in the top tier 1, 2 and 3 priorities. Of the total 15 individual services, 6 sub-layers of Concierge Service (weather/temperature/fine dust, news, voice schedule notification) and Education Service (foreign language, toddler, reading books) were in the top 8, and two of the Entertainment Service Music service and movie service ranked third and sixth.
This is a comparative and analytical study which comprises of the analysis of the rules of the buyer's remedies where the seller delivers defective goods of four legal systems; Directive, CISG, English law and Korean law. In light of threefold main purposes of this study, it firstly attempts to describe and analyze the remedy provisions of Directive in a comparative way in order to provide legal advice to the sellers who plans to enter into English consumer markets. It shows that the two tier remedial system under Directive is not much different from the other jurisdictions, except where the right of rescission under Directive is absolute in a sense that it does not require a certain degree of seriousness of defect. Secondly, the study compares the rules of one jurisdiction with those of other jurisdictions and evaluates the rules in light of the discipline of comparative law the basic question of which is whether a solution from one jurisdiction may facilitate the systematic development and reform of another jurisdiction. It proves the followings; (1) the reluctance and uncertainty in English law of ordering specific performance based on the discretionary power does not reflect the parties' preference because the order is either uncertain or rather negative where the purchase of substitute goods elsewhere is not a satisfactory solution in many cases; (2) the position in Korean law which has no limitation on the right to require substitute goods is likely unfair in commercial sales, but justified in consumer sales; (3) the right of termination or reduction under Directive which is subject to the applicability of the right to require repair or substitute goods seems to be contrary to the consumer's preference where the defective delivery destroys the basis of trust in the quality of the seller's performance; (4) the absolute right of termination under Directive and English law seems crucial in consumer sales because they are often inferior to commercial sellers in terms of information and bargaining power; (5) the right of reduction as a self-help remedy which is absent in English law emphasizes its usefulness. Thirdly, it finds that, where CISG is deemed to fail to unify different rules on the right to require specific performance between Civil and Common law, it is attempted once again in Directive and notwithstanding their hostility to awarding the right to require specific performance in English law, Regulations 2002 expressively stipulates such right.
According to outstanding maritime economists from domestic and overseas, shipping lines or ships' enlargement reduce fixed costs, and assist realization of scale of economy of shipping. On the contrary, recent Korean liquidity crisis on the shipping lines (SL) has been focused on the leading companies such as Hanjin Shipping (HJS), Korealines, and STX Pan Ocean. In this respect, this study aims to review Korean SLs' strategies and suggest the optimal solution between the specialization and enlargement. For these purposes, this research adopts slack based measure data envelopment analysis (SBM-DEA) model as a research methodology. As for decision making units (DMUs), SLs which have increased the vessel numbers and belonged to top tier group in year 2013, are selected. The results are comprised with two aspects. Firstly, HJS, KMTC, Korea LNG Trading (KLT), EUKOR, and Sinokor Tanker show the most efficient in regard to constant return to scale (CRS) model. Secondly, HJS, KMTC, KLT, Daerim, Chungang, Sinnokor Tanker, and EUKOR are the most efficient companies in terms of variable return to scale (VRS) model. Lastly, these results could be affected to the management philosophy and can answer the following question. Which is the most optimized SL?s management decision making, enlargement or specialization?
