축차 2점법을 이용한 회전체의 진원도 프로파일 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Roundness Profile for Rotating Object Using Two Points in Succession Measuring Method)

  • 본 논문은 회전체의 진원도 및 흔들림 정밀도 측정에 관한 연구이다. 일반적으로 가공물 진원도 측정은 정밀한 회전테이블 또는 기준 원형 디스크를 필요로 하여, 고가의 비용이 소요된다. 축차2점법은 2개의 변위센서를 사용하여 직선가이드 등에서진직도 측정을 위하여 사용되었으며, 본 연구에서는 이 방법을 회전체에 적용하였다. 한 개의 디스크를 이용하여 측정된 회전체 변위 측정값에서 장치의 회전시 흔들림 오차를 제거하여 회전체의 순수한 진원도 프로파일을 측정하였다. 본 연구는 정밀한 기준 디스크 (Artifact)를 사용하지 않고 원형 가공물의 진원도 프로파일 측정에 유용할 것이다.

하나로 2차 냉각펌프의 고진동 해소방안 (The Solution of Severe Vibration Problen of the Secondary Cooling Pump in HANARO)

  • The heat produced by the fission in the fuel of HANARO, 30 MW of research reactor, was transferred from the primary cooling water to the secondary cooling water through heat exchangers. The secondary cooling water absorbing the heat was circulated by secondary cooling pumps and cooled through 33 MW of cooling tower. Each capacity of the three secondary cooling pumps was fifty percent ($50\%$) of full load. The two pumps were normally operated and the other pump was standby. One of the secondary cooling pumps has often made troubles by high vibration. To release these troubles the pump shaft has been re-aligned, the pump bearing has been replaced with new one, the shaft sleeve has been replaced with new one, the shaft and the impeller have been re-balanced representatively and/or the vibration of motor has been tested by disconnecting the shaft of pump. But the high vibration of pump cannot be cleared. We find out the weight balance trouble of the assembly in which the impeller is installed in the shaft. After clearing the trouble, the high vibration is relieved and the pump is operated smoothly. In this paper, the trouble solution shooting method of secondary cooling pump is described including the reason of high vibration

  • 복합재료는 비강성과 비강도의 우수성 때문에 첨단 산업분야에서 사용되고 있으며, 특히 낮은 비중으로 인한 중량감소 효과와 접착과 주조 둥에 의한 부품수의 감소효과 때문에 항공기와 수송기계분야에 널리 이용되고 있다. 복합재료의 이러한 장점들을 이용하여 항공기용 동력전달축과 자동차용 추진축에서 연구와 활용이 이뤄지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우수한 진동 안정성을 갖는 복합재료 추진축을 설계하고 해석하였으며 이를 증명하기 위해 충격망치를 이용한 FFT해석기와 회전장비를 이용하는 두 가지 실험을 수행하였다.

베어링-축 조립체에서 축의 셰이크다운에 관한 연구 (Shakedown Analysis of Shaft in Bearing-Shaft Assembly)

  • Under repeated rolling, initial plastic deformation introduces residual stresses which render the steady cyclic state purely elastic. This is called the process of shakedown. Many studies have been done about the shakedown in semi-infinite half space using calculated Hertizian pressure. In this paper shakedown processes in a shaft are studied by finite element analyses of a two dimensional(plane strain) model with elastic-linear-kinematic-hardening-plastic material subjected to repeated, frictionless rolling contact. Symmetric and non-symmetric pressure distributions are obtained using a simplified model of the bearing-shaft assembly. The rolling contact is simulated by repeatedly translating both pressure distributions along the surface of the shaft. By the influence of the non-symmetric pressure, larger residual radial tensile stress is generated in the immediate subsurface layer, which may make a crack propagate and, the subsurface undergoes a zigzag plastic deformation during the shakedown process, which may lead to a crack initiation.

아칭효과를 고려한 원형수직터널의 토압 특성 분석 (I) - 원심모형실험 연구 - (Analysis of Earth Pressure Acting on Vertical Circular Shaft Considering Aching Effect (I) - A Study on Centrifuge Model Tests -)

  • 본 연구에서는 사질토 지반에 설치한 원형수직터널에서 아칭효과를 고려한 토압의 거동 특성을 분석하기 위해 실제의 응력상태를 재현할 수 있는 원심모형실험(centrifuge model test)을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 직경 6.0m, 높이 15.0m의 원형수직터널을 대상으로 축소모형 실험체를 제작하였으며, 중력장 75G를 가속하여 2회 반복실험을 수행하였다. 더불어, 지반굴착에 따른 토압의 거동특성과 크기를 분석하기 위하여 모형 수직터널 벽체를 2단으로 분리하여 굴착효과를 모사하였으며, 그 결과를 선행연구에서 제안한 이론토압식과 비교하였다. 실험결과, 원형수직터널에 작용하는 토압은 기존의 2차원(Ko) 토압에 비해 약 70% 가까이 전토압이 저감되는 효과가 관찰되었으며, 이는 3차원 아칭효과에 의해 토압이 경감된 것으로 판단된다.

선박용 프로펠러축 방식처리용 복합재료의 제조와 그 정적 및 피로특성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Processing of Anti-Corrosive Composites for Propeller Shaft of the Ship and the Evaluation of Its Static and Fatigue Properties)

  • Kind 1 propeller shaft in ships is the shaft which is provided with effective measures against corrosion by sea water, or the shaft which is made of approved corrosion resistance materials. The propeller shaft other than specified above is Kind 2. Thus, this study is mainly concerned with the resistance to fatigue damage in sea water against stress concentrations due to the notches. The results obtained can be summarized as follows; (1) The stress increases with curing time, however, when the curing time reaches at 96 hours the stress becomes a constant value. The elongation decreases with curing time, however, when the curing time reaches at 48 hours the elongation becomes a constant value. Thus, in case of FRP coating on propeller shaft, it is necessary to cure for 48 hours at least. (2) The relation of $\sigma$$_n$-K$_t$ is to be classified into two parts, which is a part where fracture nominal stress, $\sigma$$_n$, decreases with increasing $K_t$, and a part where $\sigma$$_n$ is nearly constant independent of $K_t$. (3) According to a linear notch mechanics, the measure of severity controlling the fracture in notched FRP body is the notch root radius, $\rho$. The notched static strength of an arbitrary specimen will be estimated from $\sigma$$_{max}$ -1/$\rho$ curve. (4) Through the observation of cross section after fatigue test, the part of interface was kept good condition irrespective of loading conditions.

5만 DWT 석유화학제품운반선의 선체변형을 고려한 추진축계 정렬해석 연구 (A study of the analysis of shaft alignment considering hull deflections for 50,000 DWT oil/chemical tankers)

  • 선박이 고출력화, 대형화 됨에 따라 추진축의 강성은 증가한 반면에 선체는 고장력 후판을 사용하므로 이전의 선체보다 훨씬 더 쉽게 변형되는 실정이다. 흘수변화에 따른 선체변형은 축계를 구성하는 각각의 베어링 옵셋 및 반력에 연쇄적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 이는 기존의 선박보다 더욱 정교한 축계정렬이 요구됨을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 최근 친환경 고효율 선박으로 등장한 5만 DWT급 석유화학제품운반선을 대상으로 선박의 흘수 변화에 따른 선미부 구조해석을 실시하고 구조해석으로부터 얻어진 축계의 상대변위를 이용하여 축계정렬 해석을 수행하였다. 구조해석은 선박의 통상 운항조건에서 최대 흘수 변화를 고려한 2개 조건에서 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 선체변형에 따른 베어링 옵셋 변화가 축계정렬에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다.

Comparing the Use of Single and Double Interlocking Distal Screws on a Polarus Intramedullary Nail for Humeral Shaft Fractures

  • Background: Our aim was to make a comparative analysis of radiological and clinical outcomes of using either one or two interlocking distal screws on a Polarus intramedullary nail for the internal fixation of humeral shaft fractures. Methods: From January 2008 to March 2014, we enrolled 26 patients with humeral shaft fractures who were operated on using intramedullary nails. The patients were divided into 2 groups according to how many interlocking distal screws were used to lock the Polarus nail: in group 1, a single interlocking distal screw was used in 12 patients; and in group 2, double interlocking distal screws, in 14 patients. We compared the degree of recovery of the displaced fracture fragments between the two groups. To compare the nonunion and shoulder function, we assessed each patient's modified American Shoulder and Elbow Surgerns (ASES) score. Results: We found that 10 of 12 fractures achieved union in group 1, and 13 of 14 fractures, in group 2. We did not find a meaningful difference in the time to bone union between the two groups. The percentage of recovery of displaced fracture fragments until union was 66.9% for group 1 and 59.41% for group 2. At the final follow-up, we found that the scores for shoulder joint modified ASES was 78.7 for group 1 and 80.7 for group 2. Conclusions: Our results show that if locked appropriately, even a single screw on a Polarus nail can provide satisfactory radiological union and improved clinical outcome after intramedullary nailing of humeral shaft fractures.

$H_{\infty}$필터를 이용한 2관성 공진계의 2자유도제어 (Two-Degree-of-Freedom Control of Two-Mass Resonant System using $H_{\infty}$ Filer)

  • In the industrial motor drive system, a shaft torsional vibration is often generated when a motor and a load are connected with a flexible shaft. This paper treats the vibration suppression control of such a system. In this paper, two-degree-of-freedom(TDOF) control of the two-mass resonant system using the $H_{\infty}$ filter is proposed. TDOF control method satisfies the command following property and the internal stability at the same. The $H_{\infty}$ filter is robust in noise and disturbance. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed control method.
