  • The demands for continuous process optimization require a radical rethinking of how information systems are designed and constructed. Information systems must be capable of sustained, graceful change in response to evolving business requirements. This proposition is supported by the fact that information systems have helped increase productivity only when they were built to support new and better ways of conducting the business. In such context, business process engineering (BPF) is recognized the first but most critical stage in developing information systems as well as in launching business improvement and innovation projects. However, more often, there exist great gaps and inconsistencies between the results of BPE and the business itself, which turn into huge maintenance overhead during an information system lifecycle. In order to solve such an ever lasting problem, this paper orthogonal models, procedure, guide, and work flow are constructed in our engineering discussions focus on decentralized organizations, the method is general enough to be applied easily to other types of organizations without difficulties.

  • Understanding visit motivation to parks is important when attempting to improve visitor satisfaction and their intentions to revisit and recommend. The objective of this study is to not only examine the impact of visitors' motivations on their satisfaction, but also study the effect of their satisfaction on their behavioral intentions. This objective will be fulfilled using regression models populated with data from the Gyeryongsan National Park (GNP). Onsite surveys were collected during April and May 2017 at the Donghaksa, Gapsa, Cheonjeong, Sinwonsa, Sangsin, and Sutonggol information centers of the GNP (N=224). The results of this study indicate that the visitors' motivations influenced their visit satisfaction, which, in turn, impacted their behavioral intentions. The study's findings will help park managers and policy-makers establish effective park management strategies and enhance visitors' experiences.

  • In order to more effectively respond to the rapidly changing situations of domestic and foreign interior design industries and to expect their further development, not only academic endeavor but also practical one, that is, the introduction of the new interior-design management is necessary. This research aims to establish a preliminary model of interior design management conducted not by customers but by designers who understand the characteristics and structure of business environment. To achieve this, we will investigate and analyze previously suggested theories on interior design management and case examples. In doing so, we hope that this research will facilitate future researches which in turn may come up with more persuasive models of interior design management.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the empirical analysis for charging factors and the evaluation models of internet site. Thus this is to analyze the charging factors affecting the consumer satisfaction of health information sites in the Internet. Based on the covariance structural model applied to a customer survey, this study shows that among the characteristics of the site, contents has the most significant effect on charging factor and customer satisfaction, which in turn affects the consumer willingness to recommend the site to others.

  • In wireless ad hoc networks the nodes focus on achieving the maximum SINR for efficient data transmission. In order to achieve maximum SINR the nodes culminate in exhausting the battery power for successful transmissions. This in turn affects the successful transmission of the other nodes as the maximum transmission power opted by each node serves as a source of interference for the other nodes in the network. This paper models the choice of power for each node as a non cooperative game where the throughput of the network with respect to the consumption of power is formulated as a utility function. We propose an adaptive pricing scheme that encourages the nodes to use minimum transmission power to achieve target SINR at the Nash equilibrium and improve their net utility in multiuser scenario.

  • Understanding interactions between nanoparticles and lipid bilayer membranes is of great importance due to the potential applications in bio-nanotechnology such as drug deliveries, carrying genes, and utilization of integral membrane proteins. To investigate the dynamics of nanoparticle penetration and translocation into membranes, we performed dissipative particle dynamics simulations which use simple and intuitive coarse-grained models yet effectively describe hydrodynamic interactions in cell environment. We discuss the influence of the shape of nanoparticles as well as the properties of membranes including large membrane-embedded proteins that are found to significantly affect orientation of nanoparticles within membranes and, in turn, the minimum force required to translocate nanoparticles.

  • This is the paper on the development of assemnly automation and visual inspection system for smart card reader connector. The automation consists of 3 main process injection, assembly and inspection. During the injection, the main pin of a reel. transferred under uniform tension, is cut with an injection interval and positioned precisely to an injection mold by roll feeder after injection. The main base is stacked to a magazine for main pin's exact positionning to a mold . For last effective production, The turn table and pick & place are driver with gears and came by a single monter. We developed the small parts handling technigue for stable supply of micro ist pin and 2nd pin and could determine the orientation and position of those pins. For reliable inspection, We used the vision system which examins the guality of arranged pins with a CCD camera. The connector models which can be manufactured with this system are 8 pin and 10 pin type. The user can select the connector model for production and adjust the torerable error range during the inspection of arranged pins.

  • In Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) imaging, the echoed data are collected by moving radar's position with respect to the target area, and this operation actually gives effect of synthesizing aperture size, which in turn gives better cross range resolution of reconstructed target scene. Among several inversion scheme for SAR Imaging, we uses an inversion scheme which uses no approximation in wave propagation analysis, and try to verify whether the collected data with synthesized aperture actually gives the same support as that with physical aperture in the same size. To do this, we make a signal subspace comparison of two imaging models with physical and synthesized arrays, respectively. Theoretical comparison and numerical analysis using Gram-Schmidt procedures had been performed. The results showed that the synthesized array data fully span the physical array data with the same system geometry and strongly support the proposed inversion scheme valuable in high resolution radar imaging.

  • Seismic performance of hybrid steel frames defined as mixture of rigid and semi-rigid connections is investigated in this paper. Three frames with 10, 15 and 20 stories are designed with fully rigid connections and then with 4 patterns for semi-rigid connection placement, some of beam to column rigid connections would turn to semi-rigid. Each semi-rigid connection is considered with 4 different moment capacities and all rigid and semi-rigid frames consisting of 51 models are subjected to 5 selected earthquake records for nonlinear analysis. Maximum story drifts, roof acceleration and base shear are extracted for those 5 earthquake records and average values are obtained for each case. Based on numerical results for the proposed hybrid frames, story drifts remain in allowable range and the reductions in the maximum roof acceleration of 22, 29 and 25% and maximum base shear of 33, 31 and 54% occur in those 10, 15 and 20-story frames, respectively.

  • A STATic synchronous COMpensator (STATCOM) is a shunt connected voltage source converter (VSC) based FACTS controller using Gate Turn Off (GTO) power semiconductor devices employed for reactive power control. The operation principal is similar to that of a synchronous condenser. A typical application of a STATCOM is voltage regulation at the midpoint of a long transmission line for the enhancement of power transfer capability and/or reactive power control at the load centre. This paper presents the modeling of STATCOM with twenty four pulse three level VSC and Type-1 controller to regulate the reactive current or the bus voltage. The performance is evaluated by transient simulation. It is observed that, the STATCOM shows excellent transient response to step change in the reactive current reference. While the eigenvalue analysis is based on D-Q model, the transient simulation is based on both D-Q and 3 phase models of STATCOM (which considers switching action of VSC).
