Assessment of Insulation Condition for Generator Rotor Windings (발전기 회전자 권선의 건전성 평가)

  • A shorted-turn test was performed at the Pyungtaek combined cycle power plant on gas turbine generators. The test was conducted using a permanent flux probe and on-line shorted-turn diagnosis system. The permanent flux probe installed in the generator air gap senses the field winding slot leakage flux and produces a voltage proportional to the rate of change signature unique to each field winding. We have also applied a voltage waveform analysis technique that can identify the pole location, slot number and number of shorted-turn with each slot.

  • This paper deals with dynamic characteristics of LSRM according to drive condition. First, in experiment of LSRM, position of LSRM detected approximation sensor. Position choose mover of LSRM and inductance. When approved current in each phase by decided position, we made sure current and voltage according to turn-on, turn-off. Second, in dynamic characteristic of LSRM, through an experiment, we decided turn-on position of inductance profile. Also, we presented dynamic characteristic analysis model which is consisted at motor and sensor signal part, etc., and substitute circuit constant that get using magnetic equivalent circuit method, we confirmed current and voltage waveform.

  • 챗봇은 사람과 컴퓨터가 자연어로 대화를 주고받는 시스템을 말한다. 최근 챗봇에 대한 연구가 활발해지면서 단순히 기계적인 응답보다 사용자가 원하는 개인 특성이 반영된 챗봇에 대한 연구도 많아지고 있다. 기존 연구는 하나의 벡터를 사용하여 한 가지 형태의 페르소나 정보를 모델에 반영했다. 하지만, 페르소나는 한 가지 형태로 정의할 수 없어서 챗봇 모델에 페르소나 정보를 다양한 형태로 반영시키는 연구가 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문은 최신 생성 기반 Multi-Turn 챗봇 시스템을 기반으로 챗봇이 다양한 형태로 페르소나를 반영하게 하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • Recently DC-DC converters significantly increase the total losses as rising switching frequency. Traditional soft switching technique for reducing switching losses even increase voltage/current stress of switch. In this paper Resonant circuit for soft switching is connected in parallel with power stage and only operates just before turn-on of the main operates just before turn-on of the main switch, Therefore This doesn't affect the total circuit operation. ZNT-PWM converter designed with 170-260V input 4--V 5A output and 100kHz switching frequency is tested respectively with 500W. 1kW, 1.5kW, and 2kW loads.

  • The paper introduces a switched reluctance motor drive system based on an 80C31 and an Intel 80C 196KB single-chip microprocessor control. Advance schemes are used in turn-on and turn-off angles with the power converter's main switches during traction and regenerative braking. The principles of traction speed control and braking torque control are given. The hardware and software patterns in the 80c31 and the Intel 80C196KB single-chip microprocessor control system are also presented.

  • It needs to consider of turns during a path-finding on real road network. traveling on real road network, it generally takes less travel time in a more straight path than a zig-zaged path with same source and destination. In this paper, we propose $VTA^*$ algorithm that can reduce the cost of exploring despite increasing the number of turn in comparing with $TA^*$ algorithm. We have implement the proposed $VTA^*$, $TA^*$ which consider the number of turn and a traditional $A^*$ algorithm which dosen't consider the number of turn. The experimental result shows that the cost of exploring is reduced by 7.31 % comparing with $TA^*$ and the number of turn is reduced by 27.95% comparing with $A^*$ approximately.

  • Delay reduction of vehicles at the intersection is highly dependent on the signal operation method. Most previous traffic operations have focused on minimizing delay by adjust traffic offset. However, these methods have limitation in solving traffic problem if the volume reaches or exceeds the capacity. In this paper, it was analyzed that the effectiveness of various signal operation methods such as left-turn prohibition, and using protected mixed with permitted left turn using the traffic data from Daejeon city. In case of the left-turn prohibition of a intersection, the control delay reduced from 54.2 seconds to 22.7 seconds and especially, the delay of the southbound was drastically reduced. In addition, the delay was highly reduced from 27.0 seconds to 12.1 seconds when the operation system was changed to use protected mixed with permitted left turn.

  • This paper is to examine the interrelationship between morality (or ethics) and geography and education in terms of the moral and ethical dimension embedded moral turn in geography. Since the 1970s, the geography have morally turned with stressing realization of social relevance and justice through interest on moral issues such as the spatial inequality and human welfare in the world of difference. This moral turn in geography has formed the area of moral geography, and emphasized the ethics of care and responsibility of human and nature with warning of immoral geographies of others and nature in the world of difference with the recent trend of postmodernism. For morally careful geography teaching, it is now good time that geography educators need to think the moral turn in geography education. If geography education is willing to contribute to make a better world, it needs to reflect more morally on geography curriculum and instruction in terms of the ethics of care and responsibility.

Effects of the Head-Turn Gait on Gait Parameters in the Elderly (노인에서 머리회전을 동반한 보행이 보행변수에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of older adult's head-turn gait on gait parameters by comparing with head oriented forward gait and to provide criteria for their risk of falling compared to young adult. Methods: The subjects were 19 young adults in their 20s and 18 older adults in their 60s or above residing in Daegu or Gyeongsangbuk-do. To evaluate their gait parameters, spatiotemporal gait parameters were measured using a gait analysis tool (Legsys, BioSensics, USA) under two conditions: 1) walking while keeping one's eyes forward and 2) walking while turning the head. The measurement for each test was performed after one practice session, and the mean value of three measurements was analyzed. The collected data were statistically processed using a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to compare any differences in gait parameters between the two groups under the two conditions. The statistical significance level was set at α=0.05. Results: According to the comparison of gait parameters in young adult and older adult between the head oriented forward gait and head-turn gait, statistically significant differences were observed in two parameters: stride length according to the height ratio and stride speed obtained by dividing the stride length according to the height ratio by time (p<0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the head-turn gait causes greater differences in stride length and speed among older adult than in young adult and therefore can act as a cause of falling.

A Study on Object Detection and Warning Model for the Prevention of Right Turn Car Accidents (우회전 차량 사고 예방을 위한 객체 탐지 및 경고 모델 연구)

  • With a continuous occurrence of right-turn traffic accidents at intersections, there is an increasing demand for measures to address these incidents. In response, a technology has been developed to detect the presence of pedestrians through object detection in CCTV footage at right-turn areas and display warning messages on the screen to alert drivers. The YOLO (You Only Look Once) model, a type of object detection model, was employed to assess the performance of object detection. An algorithm was also devised to address misidentification issues and generate warning messages when pedestrians are detected. The accuracy of recognizing pedestrians or objects and outputting warning messages was measured at approximately 82%, suggesting a potential contribution to preventing right-turn accidents
