A Service Area plays an important role in preventing accidents in advance by creating a space for long distance drivers or drowsy drivers to rest. Therefore, proper positioning of the expressway service area is essential, and it is important to analyze accurate demand forecasting and user travel behavior. Thus, this study analysis travel behavior and developed odel of the probability of using the service area by using the DSRC data collected by the RSE on the highway. According to the analysis, the usage behavior of highway service areas was most frequently when travel time was 90 minutes or more on weekdays and 70 minutes or more on weekends. The utilization rate of the service area estimated from the probability model of use of the rest area in this study was 1 % to 2 % error. The results of this study are meaningful in analyzing the behavior of the use of rest areas using the structured data and can be used as a differentiated strategy for selecting the location of rest areas and enhancing the service level of users.

The study is examined to illustrate Korea's status in service trade, including travel deficit, outbound travel market, and inbound travel market. This research will also illustrate what factors generate the growth of travel deficit and suggest some alternatives to solve it even if government notes a steady increase in exports of cultural products and programs and entertainment services, driven by the Korean Wave sweeping across Asia. The study suggested some possible alternatives such as growth of travel balance, improvement of low image on Korean tourism, aggressive participation of government, strengthened role of Korean Tourism Organization(KTO), and appropriate control on overseas studies to lessen an increase of travel deficit. In addition, the study concluded, even if a tourism industry includes a higher multiplier effect, the spontaneous participation intention by Koreans themselves and the strong supports from local governments should be another major successful factors to settle down the travel deficit.

The purpose of this study is to understand the important factor of internet travel product purchase according to the characteristics of SNS tourism information. The characteristics of SNS tourism information perceived by travel product consumers are investigated as four major dimensions; reliability, interest, interaction, and usefulness. 17 items of online travel product purchase are adopted and produced four factors namely; safety, price & cost, customer service and convenience. We confirm that consumer have high importance on reliability consider convenience as most important factor of online travel product purchase. Interest of SNS tourism information have significant relation with price & cost, and Usefulness and Interaction of SNS tourism information have significant relation with customer service of online travel product purchase.

This study investigates e-service quality of online travel agency and influence on relationship quality and Reuse. The individual Chinese tourists with experiences using online travel agencies were chosen for the study. The survey was carried out at Jeju International Airport, which is the most frequently used by Chinese tourists visiting Korea. Data were collected for 7 days from July 15, 2019 to July 21, 2019. A total of 320 tourists were attended in this research and finally 300 samples were used for empirical analysis. The result of the study showed that e-service quality of online travel agencies all factors(convenience, individuality, accuracy and price attractiveness) influences on relationship quality all factors(satisfaction, trust) and the factor 'accuracy' was analyzed as the biggest among them. Moreover satisfaction and trust factors of all sub-factors of relationship quality influences on reuse. In the future, we intend to provide basic marketing data for Chinese tourists using online travel agencies to officials and practitioners. Particularly, focusing on the tourism behaviors of individual Chinese tourists, we are going to propose effective business cooperation plans and strategic alternatives with online travel agencies.

A diversity of railway network function enhancement projects such as the double tracking, electrification, and direct operation have been actively executed to improve the railway service. When the new rapid railway is provided, how many people will use it instead of other transports? How will the railway choice behavior be changed? Accordingly, in this paper, the applicability of diverted travel demand forecast method by Stated Preference(SP) and Transfer Price(TP) data was reviewed for Daegu metropolitan railway service. As the result of implementing the Revealed Preference(RP) and RP+SP model, the total travel time and travel cost parameters are of the right sign and are highly significant. In particular, when TP data is used as the complementary investigation of SP, the boundary value of diverted travel demand can be easily identified by railway fare and travel time service level. Therefore, it is considered that this will practically apply even in other regions as well as Daegu metropolitan railway.

Recently, there has been growing necessity to estimate the future travel demand of high speed train because the circumstance of high speed train service is rapidly changing with the launching of 2011 second stage of Gyeongbu high speed railway(Dongdaegu-Busan) and the completion of 2014 first stage of Honam high speed railway(Yongsan-Gwangju), etc. This study was designed to estimate future travel demand by analyzing the transport performance and train service characteristics of Gyeongbu and Honam line. This study presents the maximum load section and the changed future travel demand, which will be applied to establish a train operation plan.

The main criteria for objective measure of the level of transportation service is travel time and delay time. In this paper, the level of service is measured by using moving vehicles method. Through this, we get the hourly traffic volume, the average travel time, space average speed, etc. In addition, we get the density of traffic.

DMB video/audio service was successfully launched. DMB data service is a matter of primary concern now. The TTI(Traffic and Travel Information) service is considered as a killer application of the data service. Tn this paper, we propose a method for design and implementation of the broadcasting system for TTI service. The proposed TTI service system consists of an authoring tool, the DB module, the Transmission module and Monitoring module. This system satisfies the national TTA standards of the Traffic and Travel Information data services for terrestrial DMB; TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group) platform. The system was designed to support real-time automatic transmission for CTT and CTT SUM, and non real-time authoring & automatic transmission for POI and SDI, and was focused on the capability to make high-quality contents efficiently and to send them to the data inserter reliably. The performance of the implemented system was proven through the conformance tests with the various commercial receivers. After the continuous upgrade, the system is being used in commercial service.

Sleeping cars mean railroad cars which are equipped with facilities available business, travel, rest, sleep for long distance travel. Domestic sleeping cars , as the concept of ‘night train’, provide passenger who travel at night with simple berth . German, Japanese, American sleeping cars are classified with sleeping car, coach car, seat car or first class, standard class, family room, room for the handicapped, which offer not only sleep but various facilities and service such as snack, reading, available shower for daytime travel. Accordingly, through the analyzing spatial factor of domestic and foreign sleeping cars, we first should abstract the demand for fundamental design to enhance our passenger's comfort. And then we should try to improve the quality of travel culture by offering it passenger.

The aim of tins study is to compare the travel time of urban railway with that of arterial roads in the Seoul metropolitan area, focusing on the five main railways and arterials - Ilsan, Bundang, Kwacheon, Kyoungwon, and Kyoungin in order to make suggestions about improvements of railways. We found that the travel times of railways and arterials are about one and a half hour and an hour respectively, also the ratio of railway travel time to arterial travel time is 1.34 at peak and 1.58 at off-peak. We conclude that the competitiveness of the railroads is lower than the arterials. It will be necessary that we research the ways to improve the service of railways and investment ranking among the five main railways.
