화물자동차의 공동수배송시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishing System of Truck Collaboration for Transportation Enterprises)

  • The objective of this paper is to study the establishing system of truck collaboration and to reduce traffic cost for participating transportation enterprises. The system of truck collaboration can enhance the transport efficiency and to reduce traffic cost without new investment for trucks and equipments. The type of truck collaboration should be enumerated (1) the system of head and branch base (2) the system of central terminal (3) the system of separating collection and delivery for cargo (4) the system of cooperating cargo order and truck allocation. The efficiency of truck collaboration is possible to be realized for transportation enterprises, receiver and sender of cargo.

하이브리드 다중 Hub-and-Spoke 차량 경로 계획 모형 : 현대모비스 자동차 보수용 부품 사내 운송 계획 최적화를 중심으로 (Hybrid Multiple Hub-and-Spoke Vehicle Routing Model for Hyundai Mobis Automotive Service Parts Transportation Planning)

  • Hub-and-spoke transportation network is a powerful and useful network structure that takes full advantage of economies of scale on routes between hubs. In recent studies, the network structure is extended to hybrid hub-andspoke that allows direct transportation between spokes. In this study, we considered more extended network structure which is called hybrid multiple hub-and-spoke that has multiple hubs and allows direct transportation between spokes. We developed a mathematical optimization model for automotive service parts transportation planning under hybrid multiple hub-and-spoke network structure. The model suggests a long-term transportation route planning and a short-term vehicle assignment planning. The model is verified by simulation and validated in real world application to Hyundai Mobis automotive service parts transportation planning. From the simulation result, the model reduced the transportation cost about 24.7%, the total distance about 6.8% and the CO2 emissions about 8.8%. In real world application for 6 months from July to December 2010, the model reduced the transportation cost about 9.1% by changing the long-term transportation route without daily vehicle assignment planning.

뇌혈관질환 환자군의 가정간호 행위묶음 수가연구 (Estimation of Home Care Nursing Cost to the Patient with Cerebrovascular Disease based on a Bundle of Home Care Nursing Service)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate home care nursing cost for the patient with Cerebrovascular Disease based on a bundle of home care nursing services This study was conducted through four steps. The first step was to investigate home care nursing activities that were offered to the patient with Cerebrovascular Disease(CD) by home care nurse. The second step was to investigate the time spent on home care nursing service and to calculate labor and manufacturing cost. The third step was to calculate home care nursing cost per minute. And at the fourth step, home care nursing cost for a patient with Cerebrovascular Disease based on a bundle of home care nursing service was calculated. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The number of direct home care nursing activities for the patient with CD was 108, and the time of each activity was spent from 1 to 10 minutes. 2) Average time per visit was 51 minute, and the firs visit time were spent 1.6 times higher than 2nd visit time. 3) Nursing cost per minute(cost per visit ${\\}\;22,565\;\div\;$ average time per visit 51 minutes) was ${\\}\;442$. The cost per visit was calculated on Basic visiting cost(nurse's labor cost ${\\}\;15,760$ + management cost ${\\}\;6,805$) divided by average time per visit(51 minutes). 4) Home care nursing cost to the patient with CD based on bundle of home care nursing service was consisted of basic home care nursing cost, the cost of a bundle of service practiced on visit. and transportation fee. Basic home nursing cost(the time spent on basic home nursing service 20 minutes ${\times}$ nursing cost per minute ${\\}\;442$) was ${\\}\;8,840$. The cost of the bundle of home care nursing services to the patient with CD was calculated as self care ${\\}\;2.898$, Tracheostomy care ${\\}\;10,166$, immobility care ${\\}\;6,188$, sore care ${\\}\;6,188$. Foley care ${\\}\;6,630$, and Levin tube or Gastrostomy care ${\\}\;7.514$. Transportation fee which was composed of the labor cost for transportation(${\\}\;5,122$) and the car management cost(${\\}\;3.876$) was ${\\}\;8,998$. Home care nursing cost to the patient with CD based on bundle of home care nursing services consisted of basic home care nursing cost, the cost of a bundle of service practiced on visit, and transportation fee. It will contribute to improve quality of home care service, because of giving appreciate incentives to home care nurses. And it will be more efficient than current cost of hospital based home care. But it need to management than calculation of the current fee-for-services of home care.

  • In order to make an feasibility analysis of such as rail and road transportation infrastructure, it is common to perform economic analysis. one of the most important thing is how to estimate the operation cost of freight rail because that is required during the analysis time period and sometimes that takes more cost than the construction cost. Therefore, this study is to perform the verification of freight rail operation cost which is applied to the economic analysis of railway investment analysis. for this, it is compared truck operation cost variation with freight rail operation cost, when freight volume is converted from road to railway. In conclusion the cost variation of railway part is bigger than road part so it is necessary to improve the operation cost of freight rail estimation process.

Maritime Transportation Planning Support System for a Car Shipping Company

  • In order to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage in the expanding maritime transportation market, most shipping companies are making every effort to reduce transportation costs. Likewise, the car shipping companies, which carry more than 80% of total car import and export logistics volume, also do their utmost for transportation cost saving. Until now many researches have been made for efficient maritime transportation, but studies for car shipping companies have rarely been made. For this reason, this study has tried to develop a maritime transportation planning support system which can help to save logistics costs and increase a competitive power of car shipping companies. To this end, instead of manual effort to solve the routing problem of car carrier vessels, this study has used an integer programming model to make an optimal transportation planning at the minimum cost. Also in response to the frequent changes both in the car production schedule and ship's arrival schedule after the completion of transportation planning, this research has developed a decision support system of maritime transportation, so that users can easily modify their existing plans.

혼잡현상을 갖는 교통체계의 비용함수 (Cost Function of Congestion-Prone Transportation Systems)

  • 이 논문은 혼잡현상을 갖는 교통체계의 사회비용함수를 사회비용 최소화문제로부터 도출하여 분석하였다. 이 논문은 이 분야의 기존 연구에서 다루지 않았던 다음의 두 가지를 중점적으로 분석하였다. 하나는 이용자들의 시간가치가 다를 경우에 비용함수의 구조가 어떻게 달라지는지를 검토하는 것이고, 다른 하나는 사회비용함수를 구성하는 공급자 비용함수의 구조를 파악하는 것이었다. 분석의 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 한계사회비용은 특정한 시간가치를 가진 고객이 소비한 시간가치비용과 추가 고객의 처리에 수반되는 시스템 전체의 서비스시간 증가에 따른 한계혼잡비용으로 구성된다. 둘째, 한계혼잡비용은 공급자의 보상한계비용과 같은 바, 후자는 공급자가 추가의 고객을 가장 경제적으로 처리함에 필요한 용량의 변경에 의한 서비스시간의 변화 양에 대한 이용자 전체의 시간가치를 보상해준다는 전제아래서의 공급자 한계비용을 지칭한다. 셋째, 보상한계비용은 서비스시간함수가 산출과 용량에 대해 동차함수일 경우 한계용량비용에 시스템 이용률의 역수를 곱한 값과 같다.

  • The total estimated socioeconomic logistics cost in transportation sector, including traffic congestion, household travel expenses, national macroeconomic logistics and traffic accident related cost, amount to approximately 240 trillion won a year in 2009. The amount is in increasing trend every year due to the inefficient infrastructure system in urban city roads and in intercity highways. The Government adopts the 4th National Spatial Planning (Revised) which is in progress in order to build a new physical environment ensuring people's welfare by providing the efficient and sustainable transportation networking system.

도로화물수송의 단일할당 제약 허브네트워크 설계 (A Strict Hub Network Design with Single Allocation for Road Freight Transportation)

  • 허브네트워크 설계는 수송량의 증가에 따라 단위 수송비가 감소하는 규모의 경제효과를 이용하여 네트워크의 총 물류비용을 최소화시키는 허브입지, 기종점별 수송경로를 결정하는 최적화과정이다. 본 연구에서는 비허브가 한 개의 허브에만 연결되고, 기종점간의 직결수송이 허용되지 않고 허브간 수송만을 허용하는 단일할당 제약 허브네트워크 설계를 통해 네트워크의 최적 허브입지를 제시하지 못했던 김남주 외 (2008)의 한계를 극복하여 최적 허브입지를 결정적으로 제시하였다. 허브집합 결정과정에서는 greedy-interchange algorithm을 사용하였고, 수송경로탐색에서는 EMME/2를 사용하였다. 우리나라 전국 도로수송 네트워크에 적용한 결과, 최적 허브입지는 수도권, 경남권, 충남권, 전남권, 경북권, 충북권 등의 순서로 선정되었으며, 수송의 간선축인 경부축에 집중되었다. 단일할당 제약 허브정책으로 각 기종점간 직접운송 대신에 허브를 경유하는 운송 방식을 취함으로써 운송거리는 증가했으나, 수송비용은 오히려 감소하였다. 또한 기종점-허브간 우회거리 단축으로 인한 수송비용 절감보다 허브간 수송량 분산으로 인한 규모의 경제효과 감소가 더 커 허브수가 늘어남에 따른 수송비용 감소폭은 점차 감소하였다. 본 연구는 GIS프로그램을 이용한 공학적 접근방법을 통해 국내 화물수송의 대부분을 차지하는 도로수송의 최적 허브입지와 수송경로를 결정적으로 제시한 것으로 국가물류비용을 절감하려는 정책적 측면에서 의미가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on the Importance of Uninsured (Indirect) Cost Item of Workplace Accidents

  • Estimation of accident cost is a sound and great safety indicator on determining accurate occupational safety and health prevention. Just like in Korea, Heinrich ratio analysis of (1:4) between direct and indirect costs has been become widely used in safety management because of its simplicity. In this study four major categories of uninsured (indirect) cost items and 18 sub-categories of uninsured (indirect) cost items were identified. To determine and validate the importance and necessity of the results of a literature review an expert or professional surveyed had been analyses using the SPSS 18.0, where in the participants whose expertize is in the field of compensation and safety. Based on the results of survey all participants all uninsured (indirect) cost items classified was important and necessary when accidents occurred. Despite recognition of expert on the classification of uninsured (indirect) cost items, it is quite difficult to make generalization for all kind of costs in occupational accident case due to different nature of business for each industry.

이산형 동적 물류시스템에서 물류센터의 위치 (Location of the Distribution Centers in a Discrete Dynamic Distribution System)

  • This paper addresses determining the location of the distribution centers in a discrete dynamic distribution system. In discrete and finite time horizon, the demands of retailers are dynamic for the periods. Some locations among the retailers can be chosen for the role of the distribution centers at the beginning of each period. The distribution centers have to be located at the location of minimizing logistics cost. Logistics cost factors are the operation cost and the fixed cost of distribution center, and the transportation cost. The distribution centers of minimizing sum of operation cost, fixed cost and transportation cost are determined among retailers in each period for the planning period. A mathematical model was formulated and a dynamic programming based algorithm was developed. A numerical example was shown to explain our problem.
