Traditional IP routing, see only the Destination Address When Forwarding Layer 3 routing and exchange information and Destination-Based Routing Lookup is required for all Hop. Thus, all routers Full Internet routing information, the route information of more than about 120,000 may require. Therefore, the router configuration, which can be dispersed in the environment, the traffic load is required in accordance with this congestion. In this study, a unique characteristic of the Internet in the environment of an existing network Best Effect for QoS guarantee and hardware high speed switching of large multimedia data transmitted using a Labeling for forwarding a packet environment configuration is required. Video Stream Broadcast Transport Labeling rather than in much of the higher performance of the multi-step policy to most of the Video Stream Packet deulim was fixed to Labeling Header Format proposes a method of applying an effective QoS policy to a more simplified policy.

As real-time media applications based on IP multicast networks spread widely, the end-to-end QoS (quality of service) provisioning for these applications have become very important. To guarantee the end-to-end QoS of multi-party media applications, it is essential to monitor the time-varying status of both network metrics (i.e., delay, jitter and loss) and system metrics (i.e., CPU and memory utilization). In this paper, targeting the multicast-enabled AG (Access Grid) group collaboration tool based on multi-Party real-time media services, a hybrid monitoring scheme that can monitor the status of both multicast network and node system is investigated. It combines active monitoring and passive monitoring approaches to measure multicast network. The active monitoring measures network-layer metrics (i.e., network condition) with probe packets while the passive monitoring checks application-layer metrics (i.e., user traffic condition by analyzing RTCP packets). In addition, it measures node system metrics from system API. By comparing these hybrid results, we attempt to pinpoint the causes of performance degradation and explore corresponding reactions to improve the end-to-end performance. The experimental results show that the proposed hybrid monitoring can provide useful information to coordinate the performance improvement of multi-party real-time media applications.
Optimum design of flow channel in the separation plate of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell is very prerequisite to reduce concentration over potential at high current region and remove the water generated in cathode effectively. In this paper, fully 3 dimensional computational model which solves anode and cathode flow fields simultaneously is developed in order to compare the performance of fuel cell with parallel and interdigitated flow channels. Oxygen and water concentration and pressure drop are calculated and i-V performance characteristics are compared between flows with two flow channels. Results show that performance of fuel cell with interdigitated flow channel is hi민or than that with parallel flow channel at high current region because hydrogen and oxygen in interdigitated flow channel are transported to catalyst layer effectively due to strong convective transport through gas diffusion layer but pressure drop is larger than that in parallel flow channel. Therefore Trade-off between power gain and pressure loss should be considered in design of fuel cell with interdigitated flow channel.

Currently satellite communication systems usually use the ACM(Adaptive Coding and Modulation) to extend the link availability and to increase the bandwidth efficiency. However, when ACM system is used for satellite communications, we should carefully consider TCP congestion control to avoid network congestions. Because MODCODs in ACM are changed to make a packet more robust according to satellite wireless link conditions, bandwidth of satellite forward link is also changed. Whereas TCP has a severe problem to control the congestion window for the changed bandwidth, then packet overflow can be experienced at MAC or PHY interface buffers. This is a reason that TCP in transport layer does not recognize a change of bandwidth capability form MAC or PHY layer. To overcome this problem, we propose the adaptive congestion control scheme of TCP for supporting ACM in Satellite PEP (Performance Enhancing Proxy) systems. Simulation results by using ns-2 show that our proposed scheme can be efficiently adapted to the changed bandwidth and TCP congestion window size, and can be useful to improve TCP performance.

We will report atomically sharp epitaxial growth of $Bi_2Se_3$ three-dimensional topological insulator films on Si(111) substrate with molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). It was achieved by employing two step growth temperatures to prevent any formation of second phase, like as $SiSe_2$ clusters, between $Bi_2Se_3$ and Si substrate at the early stage of growth. The growth rate was determined completely by Bi flux and the Bi:Se flux ratio was kept ~1:15. The second-phase-free atomically sharp interface was verified by RHEED, TEM and XRD. Based on the RHEED analysis, the lattice constant of $Bi_2Se_3$ relaxed to its bulk value during the first quintuple layer implying the absence of strain from the substrate. Single-crystalline XRD peaks of $Bi_2Se_3$ were observed in films as thin as 4 QL. TEM shows full epitaxial structure of $Bi_2Se_3$ film down to the first quintuple layer without any second phases. This growth method was used to grow high quality epitaxial $Bi_2Se_3$ films from 3 QL to 3600 QL. The magneto-transport properties of these thin films show a robust 2D surface state which is thickness independent.

Growth of metal oxides on graphene may lead to a better understanding of delicate effects of their growth habits on their underlying physics. The vanadium dioxide ($VO_2$) is well known for its metal-to-insulator transition accompanied by a reversible first order structural phase transition at 340 K. This transition makes $VO_2$ a potentially useful material for applications in electrical and optical devices. We report a successful growth of $VO_2$ nanostructures on a graphene substrate via a vapor-solid transport route. As-grown $VO_2$ nanostructures on graphene were systematically characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy and high resolution transmission electron microscopy. These results indicate that the strain between $VO_2$ and graphene layers may be easily controlled by the number of underlying graphene layer. We also found that the strain in-between $VO_2$ and graphene layer affected its metal-to-insulator transition characteristics. This study demonstrates a new way for synthesizing $VO_2$ in a desired phase on the transparent conducting graphene substrate and an easy pathway for controlling metal-to-insulator phase transition via strain.
When a Mobile IP handoff occurs, the packets in flight can be lost because they are tunneled based on out-of-date location information. In this parer, we propose an enhanced handoff protocol that achieves no packet loss during Mobile IP handoff over a wireless LAN. Our handoff protocol predicts the next foreign agent that a mobile host is to visit by using: the information from the data link layer of wireless LAN. After that, when a Mobile IP handoff occult, the current foreign agent forwards the packets destined to a mobile host to the predicted foreign agent which buffers them. This eliminates packet loss and reduces the packet forwarding delay. Our handoff protocol is simulated using the Network Simulator-2 (ns-2) and shows the substantial performance enhancement of TCP with much less overhead up to 6.2 times compared to standard Mobile IP.

Intelligent Transport System(ITS) has been studied in various systems, such as road environment information offering, vehicle short-range wireless/wire communication, vehicle collision preventing and pedestrian safety offering systems. Related to this, the USN technology based on the sensing accuracy for motorists and pedestrians safety, the information reliability, the maintenance and convenience for Sensor Network is highlighted. This study uses various sensors to construct USN to the road, and connect it to the developed RSU so it collects the real-time road environment information and offers it to OBU and Traffic Control Surveillance Center with Road Weather Information System. RSU collects roadside information for driver's safety and analyzes it to offer IP and beacon service according to the service priority to OBU & upper layer terminal. In the upper layer terminal it is developed the IP based Settop Box application program to offer the urban traffic information & road environment, and environment sensor error, etc. Finally, RWIS develops the real-time collection of roadside information to complement the driver's safety to the intelligent traffic system, and presents various service modes with technology convergence.

In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm to automatically generate an RTP timestamp value that is required for the RTP packetization in order to transmit SVC video over various If networks such as Internet. Unlike the conventional single layer coding algorithms such as H.263, MPEG-4 and H.264, SVC generates a multi-layered single bitstream which is composed of a base layer and one or more enhancement layers in order to simultaneously provide temporal, spatial, and SNR scalability. Especially, in order to provide temporal scalability based on hierarchical B-picture prediction structure, the encoding (or transmission) and display order of pictures in SVC coding is completely decoupled. Thus, the timestamp value to be specified at the header of each RTP packet in video transmission does not increase monotonically according to the display time instant of each picture. Until now, no method for automatically generating an RTP timestamp when SVC video is loaded in a RTP packet has teen introduced. In this paper, a novel automatic RTP timestamp generation method exploiting the TID (temporal ID) field of the SVC NAL unit header is proposed to accommodate the SVC video transmission.
This paper deals with an efficient superconducting joint method between 2G high superconducting(HTS) wire, YBCO coated conductor(CC). Recently CC is one of the most promising superconducting wire due to high n-value and critical current independency from external magnetic field. It is expected to be used many superconducting application such as fault current limiter, persistent current system and cable etc. In most HTS applications, superconducting magnet is used, and it is necessary to joint between superconducting wire to fabricate superconducting magnet system. A CC tape used in this research consists of copper stabilizer, silver layer, YBCO layer, buffer and substrate. Direct joint using soldering method was inefficient due to resistance of copper, then copper lamination is removed by chemical etching method to reduce resistance between CC tapes. Jointed tapes were fabricated and tested. Transport current through jointed area and induced voltage were measured to characterize the I-V curve. Resistance between CC wire using chemical etching was compared with resistance of direct jointed tapes using soldering method in this paper.
