In this paper, We operate at a relatively low BER or using forward error control coding techniques on ways to increase the capacity of optical communication systems research. Coding gain is defined as the ratio of the probability of the coded signal and coding of error signal. Coding gain is increased, partly because of the period, to reduce the value of the optimal coding of the signal error probability decreases because of the effective bit binary symbol duration is longer than can be ignored. Transmission capacity on the coding gain for various code rates, which show the extent of up to 75Gb/s transmission capacity to get through it was confirmed that these coding techniques.

This paper investigates the outage performance and optimization for the four-phase two-way transmission network with an energy harvesting (EH) relay. To enable the simultaneous information processing and energy harvesting at the relay, we firstly propose a power splitting-based two-way relaying protocol (PSTWR). Then, we discuss its outage performance theoretically and derive an explicit expression for the system outage probability. In order to find the optimal system configuration parameters such as the optimal power splitting ratio and the optimal transmit power redistribution factor, we formulate an outage-minimized optimization problem. As the problem is difficult to solve, we design a genetic algorithm (GA) based algorithm for it. Besides, we also investigate the effects of the power splitting ratio, the power redistribution factor at the relay, and the source to relay distance on the system outage performance. Finally, extensive simulation results are provided to demonstrate the accuracy of the analytical results and the effectiveness of the GA-based algorithm. Moreover, it is also shown that, the relay position greatly affects the system performance, where relatively worse outage performance is achieved when the EH relay is placed in the middle of the two sources.

In this paper, I propose Fuzzy Policing Mechanism(FPM) over ATM networks for the control of traffic which is unpredictable and bursty source. The FPM is consist of counter, subtracter and Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC). The FLC is divided to fuzzifier, inference engine and defuzzifer The output of FLC inputs to the subtractor and it controls the counter. The counter works as a switch in transmission of cells. In simulation, I compared the FPM with the Leaky Bucket algorithm(LBM) in cell loss probability and performance characteristics. As a result, FPM gives lower cell loss probability than that of LBM and has good response behavior The FPM efficiently controls the transmission of packets which are variable traffic source and, it also has good selectivity.

Advancements in nanotechnology and novel nano materials in the past decade have provided a set of tools that can be used to design and manufacture integrated nano devices, which are capable of performing sensing, computing, data storing and actuation. In this paper, we have proposed cooperative nano communication using Power Switching Relay (PSR) Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) protocol and Time Switching Relay (TSR) WPT protocol over independent identically distributed (i.i.d.) Rayleigh fading channels in the Terahertz (THz) Gap frequency band to increase the range of transmission. Outage Probability (OP) performances for the proposed cooperative nano communication networks have been evaluated for the following scenarios: A) A single decode-and-forward (DF) relay for PSR protocol and TSR protocol, B) DF multi-relay network with best relay selection (BRS) for PSR protocol and TSR protocol, and C) DF multi-relay network with multiple DF hops with BRS for PSR protocol and TSR protocol. The results have shown that the transmission distance can be improved significantly by employing DF relays with WPT. They have also shown that by increasing the number of hops in a relay the OP performance is only marginally degraded. The analytical results have been verified by Monte-Carlo simulations.
We analyze the performance of multistage cooperation in decode-and-forward relay networks where the transmission between source and destination takes place in $T{\geq}2$ equal duration and orthogonal time phases with the help of relays. The source transmits only in the first time phase. All relays that can decode the source's transmission forward the source's message to the destination in the second time phase, using a space-time code. During subsequent time phases, the relays that have successfully decoded the source message using information from all previous transmitting relays, transmit the space-time coded symbols for the source's message. The non-decoding relays keep accumulating information and transmit in the later stages when they are able to decode. This process continues for T cooperation phases. We develop and analyze the outage probability of multistage cooperation protocol under orthogonal relaying. Through analytical results, we obtain the near-optimal placement strategy for relays that gives the best performance when compared with most other candidate relay location strategies of interest. For different relay network topologies, we also investigate an interesting tradeoff between an increased SNR and decreased spectral efficiency as the number of cooperation stages is increased. It is also shown that the largest multistage cooperation gain is obtained in the low and moderate SNR regime.

Distributed relay scheme for wireless ad hoc multi-hop multicast network composed of low-power and low-complexity wireless devices with high density is proposed. The proposed relay scheme is shown to be better than flooding, which is the distributed relay scheme applied to ZigBee, in the outage probability and the multicast transmission rate by simulations.

This paper describes the determination of threshold value in order to determine the presence of absence of weak signal with SNR of 0 dB in 100kHz bandwidth. As a detection method, it has been used a recent LOC structure fitting for detecting weak signal in stead of a conventional method like Neyman-Peason crtical criterion. The signal for detection is the OOK modulation signal used in data and morse code transmission. The non-Gaussian noise similar to Laplacian type has been chosen in transmission path. As a result of experiment, comparing probability of detection by one critical point with that by two critical points with fixing as arbitrary false alarm probability, we have found that method has been shown to be better than the conventional method.

Since the decentralized structure and the blindness of a large-scale wireless network make it difficult to collect the real-time channel state or other information from random distributed relays, a fundamental question is whether it is feasible to perform the relay selection without this knowledge. In this paper, a Slotted ALOHA based Greedy Relay Selection (SAGRS) scheme is presented. The proposed scheme allows the relays satisfying the user's minimum transmission request to compete for selection by randomly accessing the channel through the slotted ALOHA protocol without the need for the information collection procedure. Moreover, a greedy selection mechanism is introduced with which a user can wait for an even better relay when a suitable one is successfully stored. The optimal access probability of a relay is determined through the utilization of the available relay region, a geographical region consisting of all the relays that satisfy the minimum transmission demand of the user. The average number of the selection slots and the failure probability of the scheme are analyzed in this paper. By simulations, the validation and the effectiveness of the SAGRS scheme are confirmed. With a balance between the selection slots and the instantaneous rate of the selected relay, the proposed scheme outperforms other random access selection schemes.

The coexisting wireless body area networks (WBAN) is a very challenging issue because of strong inter-networks interference, which seriously affects energy consumption and spectrum utilization ratio. In this paper, we study a power control strategy with nearest neighbor nodes distribution for coexisting WBAN based on stochastic geometry. Using homogeneous Poisson point processes (PPP) model, the relationship between the transmission power and the networks distribution is analytically derived to reduce interference to other devices. The goal of this paper is to increase the transmission success probability and throughput through power control strategy. In addition, we evaluate the area spectral efficiency simultaneously active WBAN in the same channel. Finally, extensive simulations are conducted to evaluate the power control algorithm.

The paper focuses on investigating secure transmission in wireless powered communication networks (WPCN) that involve multiple energy-constrained relays and one energy-constrained source. The energy is harvested from a power beacon (PB) while operating in the presence of a passive eavesdropper. The study primarily aims to achieve energy-efficient secure communications by examining the impact of channel estimation on the secrecy performance of WPCN under both perfect and imperfect CSI scenarios. To obtain practical insights on improving security and energy efficiency, we propose closed-form expressions for secrecy outage probability (SOP) under the linear energy harvesting (LEH) model of WPCN. Furthermore, we suggest a search method to optimize the secure energy efficiency (SEE) with limited power from PB. The research emphasizes the significance of channel estimation in maintaining the desired performance levels in WPCN in real-world applications. The theoretical results are validated through simulations to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
