  • 송전선로에 새로운 Spacer damper를 설계하는데 이 논문의 목적이며, 이 설계되는 새로운 Spacer damper는 매우 중요한 특징과 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한, 최근 Spacer damper의 문제가 프랑스, 일본 등 다른 나라에서도 자동화 시스템과 함께 많이 발전되어 왔다. 개발된 Spacer damper외 설치는 특별한 기기없이 설치가능하며, 최근 자동 클램핑 장치 이용한 Spacer damper가 도입되어 피로 파괴와 미풍진동에 매우 효과적임이 입증되었고 보수유지가 거의 필요없으므로 경제성도 높으나 고가의 수입가격으로 인해 국산화의 필요성이 절실하다.

  • 이번 사례는 154kV 변전소 OO송전선로(T/L)인 출입철탑(철주 포함) 설계 시 설치장소의 협소한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 대책을 수립하고 이에 대하여 시공과정에서 발생한 문제점 과 이를 개선한 사례를 분석하였다. 표준형 철탑으로 설계 시 인 출입에 따른 전로의 전기적인 이격거리를 확보하기가 어려우며, 이를 개선하기 위해 특수형상의 철탑 및 기초형식의 인입방안 설계에 대한 개선대책과 현장 개선 사례 분석을 통하여 향후 인입 전선로 설계검토에 참고자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

Cross Layer Optimal Design with Guaranteed Reliability under Rayleigh block fading channels

  • Configuring optimization of wireless sensor networks, which can improve the network performance such as utilization efficiency and network lifetime with minimal energy, has received considerable attention in recent years. In this paper, a cross layer optimal approach is proposed for multi-source linear network and grid network under Rayleigh block-fading channels, which not only achieves an optimal utility but also guarantees the end-to-end reliability. Specifically, in this paper, we first strictly present the optimization method for optimal nodal number $N^*$, nodal placement $d^*$ and nodal transmission structure $p^*$ under constraints of minimum total energy consumption and minimum unit data transmitting energy consumption. Then, based on the facts that nodal energy consumption is higher for those nodes near the sink and those nodes far from the sink may have remaining energy, a cross layer optimal design is proposed to achieve balanced network energy consumption. The design adopts lower reliability requirement and shorter transmission distance for nodes near the sink, and adopts higher reliability requirement and farther transmission distance for nodes far from the sink, the solvability conditions is given as well. In the end, both the theoretical analysis and experimental results for performance evaluation show that the optimal design indeed can improve the network lifetime by 20-50%, network utility by 20% and guarantee desire level of reliability.

  • In this paper, the mathematical model of the hydraulic control valve is formulated, that is, this dynamic modeling which includes the motion equations and continuity equations can analyze the dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic control valve. The control valve for the transmission has the Over Speed Protection to protect a hydraulic travel motor. Therefore, this simulation shows the over speed protection and researches the main design parameters. The results of the computer simulation were assured through the experiment. From the comparison between both results, it is shown that this simulation program is useful and effective.

  • In order to develop a human hand mechanism, a 5-bar finger with redundant actuation is designed and implemented. an optimal set of acutator locations and link lengths for the case of one redundant actuator is obtained by employing a composite design index which simulataneously consider several performance indices such as workspace, isotropic index, and force transmission ratio. Each joing is driven by an compact actuator mechanism having ultrasonic motor and a gear set with poeneiometer an controlled by VME Bus-based control system.

Modelling the Mode Behavior of Circular Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser

  • The design characteristics of circular vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers are studied by using a newly developed equivalent network. Optical parameters, such as the stop-band or the reflectivity of periodic mirrors and the resonance wavelength, are explored for the design of these structures. To evaluate the differential quantum efficiency and the threshold current density, a transverse resonance condition of modal transmission-line theory is also utilized. This approach dramatically reduces the computational time as well as gives an explicit insight to explore the optical characteristics of circular vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs).

  • In the die casting process, the flow of liquid metal has significant influence on the quality of casting products and die life. For the optimal process design of gear housing of automobile transmission, various analyses were performed in this study by using computer simulation code, MAGMAsoft. The simulation has been focused on the molten metal behaviors during the mold filling and solidification stages for the sound casting products. Also internal defects were predicted by application of air pressure and feeding criteria.

  • In this paper, we propose the FBG design using coupled mode theory based on perturbation theory. FBG can be used to extract the specific wavelength channel from the transmission ]me when many wavelengths are coupled in a multiwavelength transmission line. To analyze output characteristics of FBG and get optimum design data, we simulate through computer and verify by experiment. From the results obtained by simulation and experimentation, the proposed FBG fits for DWDM(Dense WBM) system because of the tunning narrow linewidth.

  • The continuous increase demand for electric power leads to the additional construction of transmission facilities, but it is not easy to acquire right-of-way for transmission facilities. Therefor, there is a need for compact tower that can be built on a narrow right-of-way the compact tower with polymer insulation arm is a solution. It can be upgrading conventional 154 kV transmission line voltages to 345 kV levels. However transmission voltage is increasing, environment interference (corona noise, radio interference, etc.) will occur gradually. This environment interference is depending on the electrical clearances of tower and configuration of conductors. Therefore the analysis of the factors of environmental interference is necessary in order to upgrading transmission voltage. This paper presents the design factor of a compact tower to meet the environmental interference standard.
