롤투롤 인쇄전자에서의 횡방향 레지스터 동적 특성 모델링 (A Study on the Dynamic Analysis on the Cross Directional Register in Roll-to-roll e-Printing Systems)

  • For the adaption of roll-to-roll printing method to the printed electronics, it is mandatory to increase the resolution of register errors. Therefore it is desired to derive the mathematical modeling of register error or to develop controller design. The cross direction register error was derived considering both lateral motion of moving web and transverse position of printing roll. The mathematical modeling was validated and the relationship between the lateral motion and register error was analyzed by numerical simulations in various operating conditions using multi-layer direct gravure printing machine. The results could be used for a design of the CD register in the multi-layer printing and the lateral motion caused by translation.

키넥트의 모션 인식 기능을 이용한 수화번역 시스템 개발 (Development of Sign Language Translation System using Motion Recognition of Kinect)

  • 청각, 언어장애인과 수화를 모르는 일반인과의 대화를 위해, 키넥트를 이용한 모션 인식을 통해 수화를 번역하여 주는 시스템을 개발하였다. 키넥트의 주요기능을 이용하여 수화를 번역하는 알고리즘들을 설계하고, 다양한 수화자에 대한 수화번역의 정확도를 높이기 위한 방법으로서 길이정규화와 팔꿈치정규화의 두 가지 정규화 방법을 사용하였다. 그리고 이러한 정규화 방법이 효과적인지 알아보기 위해서 실제 수화데이터를 차트로 비교하였다. 또한 10개의 데이터베이스를 입력하여 간단한 수화부터 복잡한 수화까지 직접 실시하고, 이를 키넥트로 인식하여 번역을 해봄으로서 프로그램의 정확도를 검증하였다. 추가적으로 다양한 체형의 수화자를 인식시켜 프로그램을 실행 시켜봄으로서 체형에 따른 오차 값의 보완을 완료하여 수화번역에 대한 신뢰도를 높였다.

뇌팬톰을 이용한 삼차원 다중영상정합의 정확성 평가 (Accuracy Evaluation of Three-Dimensional Multimodal Image Registration Using a Brain Phantom)

  • 다양한 의학 영상장비로부터 획득된 영상들간의 정합의 정확성은 방사선치료계획에서 매우 중요한 쟁점 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 수제작된 뇌팬톰(brain phantom)을 이용한 영상정합의 정확성 평가방법을 연구하였다. 다중영상정합을 위해 CT-MR, CT-SPECT간의 Chamfer 정합(Chamfer matching)법을 적용하였다 영상정합의 정회성은 팬톰 내에 삽입된 표적(target)들의 중심정의 비교를 통하여 평가되었다. CT-MR, CT-SPECT간의 삼차원 제곱근평균제곱(root-mean-square) 이동편차는 각각 2.1$\pm$0.8 mm와 2.8$\pm$1.4 mm이었다. 회전편차는 세 직교좌표축에서 2$^{\circ}$이내였다. 이 오차들은 기존의 팬톰연구와 비교하여 합리적인 오차 허용범위 내에 들었다. 중첩한 CT-MR, CT-SPECT영상의 육안검증 또한 좋은 정합 결과를 보였다.

휘처 모델의 Z 정형 명세와 검사 기법 (A Formal Specification and Checking Technique of Feature model using Z language)

  • 시각적이고 비정형적인 구조로 표현된 휘처 모델(Feature model)은 구문적 명확성을 보장할 수 없고, 자동화 툴(tool)에 의한 구문(syntax)의 검증이 어렵다. 따라서, 휘처 모델이 가진 구조물의 구문적 명확성을 입증하기 위한 정형적 명세와 모델 검사(model checking)가 필요하다. 본 논문은 Z 언어를 이용한 휘처 모델의 정형적 명세와 모델 검사를 통해서, 휘처 모델의 정확성을 검사하는 기법을 제시한다. 이를 위해, 휘처 모델과 Z간 변환 규칙을 정의하고, 이 규칙에 의거하여 휘처 모델의 구문에 대해 Z 스키마(schema)로 명세한다. 모델 검사는 Z 스키마 명세에 대해 Z/Eves 툴을 사용하여 구문, 타입 검사(type checking), 그리고 도메인 검사(domain checking)를 수행하여 모델의 모호성을 검사한다. 이로서, 휘처 모델의 구조물을 좀더 명확하게 표현할 수 있으며, 설계된 모델의 오류를 검사할 수 있다.

사찰 '찰(刹)'의 어원 규명과 불교계 통용 오류 검증 (Investigation of Etymology of a Word 'Chal(刹)' from Temple and Verification of Fallacy, Circulated in the Buddhist Community)

  • Due to a mistranslation of Sanskrit to Chinese, East Asian Buddhist community misunderstands the original meaning of the fundamental word, 'sachal(寺刹)'. Sanskrit chattra, a parasol on top of a venerated Indian stupa buried with Buddha's sarira, became the symbol of majesty. The Indian stupa was transformed into a pagoda in China, and the highlighted parasol on the summit was transliterated into chaldara(刹多羅), an abbreviation for chal (刹), and finally designated the whole pagoda(塔). Sachal consists with lying low monastery and high-rise pagoda. Tapsa(塔寺), an archaic word of temple, is exactly the same as sachal, because chal means tap, pagoda. However, during the 7th century a Buddhist monk erroneously double-transliterated the Sanskrit 'kshetra,' meaning of land, into the same word as chal, even despite phonetic disaccord. Thereafter, sutra translators followed and copied the error for long centuries. It was the Japanese pioneer scholars that worsen the situation 100 years ago, to publish Sanskrit dictionaries with the errors insisting on phonetic transliteration, though pronunciation of 'kshe-' which is quite different from 'cha-.' Thereafter, upcoming scholars followed their fallacy without any verification. Fallacy of chal, meaning of land, dominates Buddhist community broadly, falling into conviction of collective fixed dogma in East Asia up to now. In the Buddhist community, it is the most important matter to recognize that the same language has become to refer completely different objects due to translation errors. As a research method, searching for corresponding Sanskrit words in translated sutras and dictionaries of Buddhism is predominant. Then, after analyzing the authenticity, the fallacy toward the truth will be corrected.

한라산국립공원 어리목-영실탐방로의 해설표지판 분석 (An Analysis of Self-guided Interpretive Signs along Eorimok-Yeongsil Trail on Mt. Hallasan National Park)

  • This study analyzed problems of interpretive signs along Eorimok-Yeongsil Trail on Mt. Hallasan National Park, focusing on factors of distracting visitor's attention from reading and understanding the signs. Eorimok-Yeongsil Trail has a total of 86 signs, and according to their purpose and content, they are classified into thirteen general signs, sixteen location signs, nine safety signs and forty-eight interpretive signs. Interpretive signs provide visitors with information and explanations about the nature and human resources of Mt. Hallasan as well as enhancing the opportunity for self-guided interpretation. The contents of interpretive signs of Eorimok-Yeongsil Trail are composed of landscapes, flora and fauna, topography, geology, history and culture, of which 70.8% of the total are related to plants and animals. Interpretive signs on the Eorimok-Yeongsil Trail do not attract visitors' attention because of the low readability, inappropriate locations and frequent errors in translation from Korean into other languages. The causes of low readability of interpretive signs include thirty-six physically damaged and faded signs, twenty-two improper font sizes and misuse of color schemes and five unclear description signs. The reasons for the incorrect locations include twenty-two long distances from the trails, twenty-one inadequate heights and fifteen inconsistencies in descriptions and locations. Problems with English use include eight grammar and spelling errors, twenty-one incorrect translations, and twenty-six English names missing.

투사성과 재탐색을 이용한 결정적 한국어 의존구조 분석의 보정기법 (Correction Method for Korean Dependency Parsing using Projectivity and Re-searching)

  • 본 논문에서는 투사성의 원칙을 이용해 결정적 한국어 의존 구문분석을 보완하는 방법을 제안한다. 우리는 결정적 의존 구문분석에 투사성의 원칙을 이용하여 의존 구문분석의 오류를 찾아내고 투사성의 원칙을 만족하도록 수정하여 오류를 개선하였다. 제안하는 모델은 기존의 결정적 의존 구문분석에 비해 높은 정확률을 제공하고 결정적 의존 구문분석의 장점을 유지할 수 있다. 또한 우리는 중간 분석결과를 이용한 자질모델을 제안하였다. 우리는 실험을 통하여 제안한 의존 구문분석 모델이 기존의 의존 구문분석 모델들에 비해 성능이 향상됨을 보였다.

직선형 5공 압력프로브의 새로운 교정 알고리듬 적용 (Application of the New Calibration Algorithm of a Straight-Type Five-Hole Pressure Probe)

  • This paper investigated the new calibration algorithm of a straight-type five-hole pressure probe for measuring three-dimensional flow velocity components. This new calibration algorithm was used for velocity data reduction from the calibration map and based on the combination of a look-up, a binary search algorithm and a geometry transformation including the translation and reflection of nodes in a calibration map. The calibration map was expanded up to the application angle, ${\pm}55^{\circ}$ of a probe. This velocity data reduction method showed a perfect performance without any kind of interpolating errors in calculating yaw and pitch angles from the calibration map. Moreover, when it was applied to an actual flow field including a swirling flow, a good result came out on the whole.

  • In this paper, we propose a rectification method that can convert ray space data obtained by controlled camera array to ideal data. Here, Ideal data is obtained by getting longitudinal and transversal epipolar line between cameras vertical and horizontal. However it is actually difficult to arrange cameras strictly because we arrange cameras by hand. As conventional method, we have use camera-calibration method. But if we use this method there are some errors on the output image. When we generate arbitrary viewpoint images this error is critical problem. We focus attention on ideal trajectory of characteristic point. And to minimize the error directly we parallelize the real one. And we showed usefulness of proposed technique. Then using the proposed technique, we were successful reducing the error to less than 0.5 pixels.

ICP 계산속도 향상을 위한 빠른 Correspondence 매칭 방법 (A Fast Correspondence Matching for Iterative Closest Point Algorithm)

  • This paper considers a method of fast correspondence matching for iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm. In robotics, the ICP algorithm and its variants have been widely used for pose estimation by finding the translation and rotation that best align two point clouds. In computational perspectives, the main difficulty is to find the correspondence point on the reference point cloud to each observed point. Jump-table-based correspondence matching is one of the methods for reducing computation time. This paper proposes a method that corrects errors in an existing jump-table-based correspondence matching algorithm. The criterion activating the use of jump-table is modified so that the correspondence matching can be applied to the situations, such as point-cloud registration problems with highly curved surfaces, for which the existing correspondence-matching method is non-applicable. For demonstration, both hardware and simulation experiments are performed. In a hardware experiment using Hokuyo-10LX LiDAR sensor, our new algorithm shows 100% correspondence matching accuracy and 88% decrease in computation time. Using the F1TENTH simulator, the proposed algorithm is tested for an autonomous driving scenario with 2D range-bearing point cloud data and also shows 100% correspondence matching accuracy.
