The purpose of the study is to establish models of land use prediction system for development and management of land resources using remotely sensed data as well as ancillary data in the context of multi-disciplinary approach in the application to CheJoo Island. The model adopts multi-date processing techniques and is a spatial/temporal land-use projection strategy emerged as a synthesis of the probability transition model and the discriminant-annlysis model. A discriminant model is applied to all pixels in CheJoo landscape plane to predict the most likely change in land use. The probability transition model provides the number of these pixels that will convert to different land use in a gives future time increment. The synthetic model predicts the future change in land use and its volume of pixels in the landscape plane.

In order to clearly define and understand an essential meaning on a growing number of immigrant women with an experience of being in pregnancy and childbirth, who married to men living in rural community in Korea, our study has been carried out with a phenomenological research method. Basic information collection was implemented by doing multiple in-depth interviews in being recorded with nine immigrant women married to the men, and also analyzed by the phenomenological method of Colaizzi. As the result of the study, the switchover in their life on the course to adaptation or transition to Korean life with experience of being pregnant and delivery generally classified into up to four categories and nine subjects. The four categories come out with "expectation of unknown world/country", "being experienced of new challenge", "feeling happiness going through anguish of hear" and "expectation/hope with her giving birth to a baby-transition in her life". Thus, the result of this study is intended to understand their difficulties likely caused or felt in adaptation to Korea life and culture, and to provide solutions or information of a program for their being actively adapted that may help get them easily assimilated into Korean life and culture.

In these days, the term 'snack culture' has been popularized as on of the tendency of new content consumption, and various related contents are introduced. This study is an analytical study related to the snack animation content based on the webtoon which can be considered as a representative snack culture content. The Purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency of use of transition techniques, which are importance for viewer to help to understand story by making space and time change in the moving image. To do this, I analyzed the each type of transition technique about the whole contents of NAVER's play webtoon, which is representative snack animation platform. Then I derived and contemplated the result of the analysis with a viewpoint of composition of shot. Through this process, I think this study could provide another basic data about snack animation contents which are not been studied enough yet.

In Korea, there is a lack of adequate safety management for small-scale construction work, particularly when compared to large-scale construction projects. The number of construction disasters is also higher on small-scale construction sites. In this regard, this study aimed to develop the application prototype to support the safety management of small-scale construction projects. The major findings of the research are as follows. 1) About 60% of construction disasters and death occurred on small-scale construction sites over the last two years. In addition, institutional support and costs for safety management were found to be insufficient. 2) The items of the application for the small-scale construction safety management were constructed on the basis of the safety management of large-scale construction work. The contents of the application were confirmed based on a survey of small-scale construction project managers. 3) The application algorithm was developed with a focus on the roles of management subjects and information exchange. For transition from the application prototype presented in this study to a commercial product, further research needs to be conducted regarding the reflection of user requirements and application management subjects.

This study is carried out to understand application type and change of learning space and to find out actual situation of management in open planned elementary schools. The twelve elementary schools were selected based on case studies and fundamental data of the agencies performing basic plan, the actual situation of management was studied by interviews of principals and teachers. By the results, open planned elementary schools have been notably reduced after the year of 2004 and corridor expending type was broadly chosen as a plane type for open space. It was also shown that learning space was transformed to the independent type integrating open space to the unit classroom in most part of twelve cases. In addition, whole sliding doors fixed in open classrooms by some Provincial Office of Education didn't need certain physical shut-offs, and it was considered as one of useful alternatives to manage open space.

Conservation of wetlands are important because wetlands are hatcheries for fishes and habitat for migratory birds and mammals. Wetlands also function as a filter for polluted water and material and transition zone for harboring numerous species of plants and animals. This paper reviewed the importance of wetland conservation and policy on management of wetlands in Korea. Wetland Conservation Act(1999) and Maritime Management Act(1999) are two legislation for conservation of wetlands. Wetland Conservation Act is issued by both Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. The definition of wetlands are so diverse, but this paper categorized wetlands as both natural and man-made lakes, mud flat areas and inland wetlands. Management application was considered for each wetland categories.

The number of people with chronic diseases has been increasing steadily but the indicators for the management of chronic diseases have not improved significantly. To improve the existing chronic disease management system, a new policy will be introduced, which includes the establishment of care plans for hypertension and diabetes patients by primary care physicians and the provision of care coordination services based on these plans. Care coordination refers to a series of activities to assist patients and their families and it has been known to be effective in reducing medical costs and avoiding the unnecessary use of the hospital system by individuals. To offer well-coordinated and high-quality care services, it is necessary to develop a service quality assurance plan, track and manage patients, provide patient support, agree on patient referral and transition, and develop an effective information system. Local governance should be established for chronic disease management, and long-term plans and continuous quality improvement are necessary.

The purpose of this study was to chronologically review the public records management policies in Korea, and get some perspectives for their sustainable growth in the future. In this study, the period of 60 years since the establishment of the First Republic in 1948 was divided into six parts; inception period(1948~middle of 1980s), preparation period(end of 1980s~1990s), development period (2000~2007), and transition period(2008~present). The achievements and failures of public records management in each period were summarized. A diagnosis of present situation of Korean public records management was made. And adopting a bi-directional networking model was suggested in order to convert into a new revitalizing period.

The AS9100 standard builds upon the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system requirements(in their entirety) and defines additional quality management system requirements for the aerospace industry. The 9100 standard on quality management system requirements is intended to be used at all levels of the supplier chain. The International Aerospace Quality Group has released a revision to 9100 for the aviation, space and defense industries. This change aims at improvement on quality, schedule and cost performance by adopting new requirements based on stakeholders' needs. This paper is to review how the AS9100 QMS Requirement has been established and improved, and to communicate the significant changes from AS9100, Rev. B to Rev. C focusing on reasons for revisions. The proposed schedule and considerations on the transition of the changes to Rev. C are also dealt with in this paper.

In the current 2D-based design, design reliability is lowered due to interference and inconsistency between plans, errors in drawings and quantities, etc. At the time of transition to BIM-based 3D design, it is necessary to expand the reliability and usability of BIM by eliminating these errors from the design stage through securing the quality of the BIM digital model. Therefore, in the railway infrastructure design stage, the quality management process and standards of the BIM digital model were defined and quality management index were developed. Based on the rule extracted from the quality management index, a pilot quality management was conducted in connection with the commercial Model-Checker rule, problems and improvement plans were derived, and a rule-based automated quality management plan was prepared.
