대청호 수질오염 평가를 위한 부영양도 지수산정, 공간적 구배 특성 및 경험적 모델 (Trophic State Index (TSI), Spatial Gradient Characteristics and the Empirical Models for Eutrophication Evaluations in Daecheong Reservoir)

  • The objectives of this study were to analyze reservoir trophic state, based on Trophic State Index (TSI), spatial variation patterns of three zones (riverine, transition, and lacustrine zone), and empirical models through 20-years long-term data analysis. Trophic variables of TP and CHL-a were highest during the summer monsoon, and decreased along the main axis from the riverine to lacustrine zone. In the mean time, TN did not show the trend. Ratios of N:P and Secchi disc transparency (SD) increased from the riverine to lacustrine zone. The analysis of trophic state index (TSI) showed that mean TSI (TP) and TSI (CHL-a) were 62 and 57, respectively, and these values were highest in the transition zone during the summer. This zone should be managed well due to highest lake water pollution. The analysis of Trophic State Index Deviation (TSID) showed that algal growth was primarily limited by light penetration, and this was most pronounced in the monsoon season. The analysis of empirical models showed that the value of $R^2$, based on CHL-SD model, was 0.30 (p < 0.0001) in the transition zone and the $R^2$, based on TP-SD model, was 0.41 (p < 0.0001) in the transition zone.

실측데이터에 의한 완화곡선 승차감 평가 (Analysis of Comfort on Transition Curve based on the Measured Data)

  • 완화곡선구간은 직선과 곡선사이에 설치되는 구간이며, 곡선반경 및 캔트 등의 선형변화에 따라 차량의 횡방향 가속도, 횡방향 저크 및 롤속도의 변화가 발생하여 차량주행안전성 및 승차감 측면에서 취약구간이 된다. 본 논문에서는 철도차량의 차체횡가속도와 롤속도의 계측결과를 이용하여 완화곡선 구간의 승차감을 정량적으로 산정하였으며, 승차감 평가기법은 EN규격에서 제시하는 완화곡선 구간의 승차감 평가방법을 사용하였다. 평가결과로 부터 통하여 국내 일반철도 노선의 완화곡선구간 승차감의 분포특성을 조사하였으며, 곡선반경 크기와 차량 속도가 완화곡선 구간의 승차감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 캔트 시간변화율과 완화곡선 승차감의 관계를 분석하였다.

Nakagami-m 페이딩 채널에서 FSMC 모델에 의한 무선 통신시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Wireless Communication System with FSMC Model in Nakagami-m Fading Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 Nakagami-m 페이딩 채널을 Finite-State Markov Channel (FSMC)로 모델링하고, 채널 상태 변화에 따른 통신 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 고려한 FSMC 모델에서는 수신 신호의 신호 대 잡음 전력비를 유한개의 구간으로 나눠 각각의 구간을 Markov 체인의 상태로 대응한다. 각 상태는 무기억 이진 대칭 통신로로 가정하고, 한 상태에서 다른 상태로의 천이는 Markov 천이를 따른다고 가정한다. 수치 해석을 통해 각 상태에 있어서의 평균 심볼 오율, 정상 상태 확률 그리고 상태 천이 확률을 구하여 FSMC 모델을 구성하였고, 상태 천이 지수를 변경함으로써 여러 페이딩 환경을 FSMC 모델로 나타낼 수 있음을 확인하였다. 상태 천이 지수가 클 경우인 빠른 페이딩 채널에서는 채널이 i.i.d. 특성을 나타내게 되며, 상태 천이 지수가 작을 경우인 느린 페이딩 채널은 인접한 상태로의 천이만 발생하는 간단한 FSMC 모델로 표현될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 제안한 FSMC 모델의 응용 예로써, 여러 채널 환경에서 랜덤 에러 정정 부호의 부호화 이득의 차이를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교, 분석하였다.

시계열 자료 분석을 통한 4대 사회안전지표 변화 추이 (Transition of Four Major Social Safety Indexes by Time Series Data Analysis)

  • 해마다 반복적으로 인적 물적 피해를 유발하여 사회 안전에 큰 영향을 미치는 산업재해, 교통사고, 화재, 범죄 등의 항목을 4대 사회안전지표로 선정하여 2003년 이후 시계열에 따른 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 2003년을 기준으로 산업재해가 27.8% 감소하여 가장 두드러지게 개선된 것으로 확인되었으며, 교통사고와 범죄자표는 12% 정도 저감된 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 화재의 경우 2006년 이후 국가화재분류체계가 바뀌면서 경미한 생활 화재도 발생건수에 포함되도록 변경되어 기준년도 대비 40% 화재안전지수가 증가한 것으로 나타났다.

Analysis on Transition between Index- and Bandgap-guided Modes in Photonic Crystal Fiber

  • We calculate optical properties of guided modes of a hybrid-guiding photonic crystal fiber. The design and modeling of such hybrid-guiding PCF is made by replacing air holes with inserts of high refractive index material layer by layer in order. The optical properties such as mode intensity profile, mode dispersion, optical birefringence, confinement loss, and chromatic dispersion during transition of the guiding mechanism are analyzed and discussed. The guided modes in the hybrid-guiding region are also compared with those of reference index-guiding and bandgap-guiding photonic crystal fibers.

Study on examination of accuracy of natural environment assessment of satellite data using vegetation index and plant energy

  • The satellite remote sensing data is good in order to grasp the wide natural environment. The purpose of study is that it examines spectral reflection characteristic and vegetation index by the utilization of the plant energy ( chlorophyll ) for examining the reliability of satellite data and grasps the transition of the natural environment using the result. According to result of analysis, there were NDVI and mutual relationship on chlorophyll, and luminance compensation of NDVI was effective for all area. In vegetation transition, there were no luminance compensation and relation, and there was a decrease of vegetation in area in south and north. The reason was a result by the artificial and natural effect. This analysis is an effective method in order to confirm the change of specific vegetation.

교통부문 탄소배출 탈동조화 현상의 원인분석 및 에너지전환의 효과: OECD 25개국 패널분석 (Drivers of Carbon Decoupling in Transportation Sector and the Effect of Energy Transition: Panel Analysis of 25 OECD Countries)

  • 최근 OECD 일부 국가를 중심으로 교통부문 온실가스 배출량의 탈동조화 현상이 강화되고 있다. 본 연구는 1990~2017년 OECD 25개 국가 데이터를 이용하여 교통부문 온실가스 배출의 탈동조화 현황을 살펴보고, 에너지전환이 탈동조화에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 상당수의 국가들이 탈동조화 국면에 도달했으며, 일부 국가는 경제성장에도 불구하고 온실가스 배출량은 감소하는 강한 탈동조화 국면에 도달했다. 에너지 전환이 탈동조화 국면에 미치는 영향을 분석해본 결과, 전기화 현상은 탈동조화 달성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 반면, 가스화 현상은 유의성이 없었다. 이 외에도 적은 운송량, 높은 도시화율, 강한 환경정책, 높은 무역개방도가 탈동조화 달성에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다.

제철원료 운송시장의 변동성 전이 분석에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Volatility Transition of Steel Raw Material Transport Market)

  • Analysis and forecasting of the Baltic Capsize Index (BCI) is important for managing an entity's losses and risks from the uncertainty and volatility of the fast-changing maritime transport market in the future. This study conducted volatility transition analysis through the GARCH model, using BCI which is highly related to steel raw materials. As for the data, 2,385 monthly data were used from March 1999 to March 2021. In this study, after basic statistical analysis, unit root and cointegration test, the GARCH, EGARCH, and DCC-GARCH models were used for volatility transition analysis. As the results of GARCH and EGARCH model, we confirmed that all variables had no autocorrelation between the standardized residuals for error terms and the square of residuals, that the variability of all variables at this time was likely to persist in the future, and that the variability of the time-series error term impact according to Iron ore trade (IoT). In addition, through the EGARCH model, the magnitude convenience of all variables except the Iron ore price (IOP) and Capesize bulk fleet (BCF) variables was greater than the positive value (+). As a result of analyzing the DCC-GARCH (1,1) model, partial linear combinations were confirmed over the entire period. Estimating the effect of variability transition on BCF and C5 with statistically significant linear combinations with BCI confirmed that the impact of BCF on BCI was greater than the impact of BCI itself.

추이대(推移帶)를 중심으로 한 경상북도 3개 도시의 열섬 평가 (Evaluation of the heat island in transition zone of three cities in Kyungpook, Korea)

  • This study analyzed the relationship between NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and urban heat island in three cities: Daegu, Kyungju, and Pohang for understanding the degree of nature conservation concentrating in the transition zone of them. Daegu city is the third city in Korea which has a dense population. Kyungju is a traditional city which has good nature. Pohang is an industrial city which has those of characters of Daegu and Kyungju. Landsat 1M data in May 17, 1997 were used for the analysis of heat island. There were about four theoretical models to estimate the surface temperature from TM data: Two-point linear model, Linear regression model, Quadratic regression model, and Cubic regression model. In this study, Linear regression model had been utilized to analyze the urban heat island. On the resultant images, the transition zone of Daegu was urbanized more extremely than those of other two cities. It is thought that the analysis of relationship between NDVI and surface temperature, used in this study, is regarded as one of effective methodologies for urban-environmental detection from satellite imageries.

해양력 변화와 한반도 해양분쟁 발생의 상관관계 연구 - 해양국력과 동맹전이이론의 타당성 검증을 중심으로 - (A Study of Relationship between Changing of Sea Power and Maritime Conflicts of the Korean Peninsula)

  • The Republic of Korea navy challenged from the unexpected surprise attacks by the North Korea navy, albeit, the developments of up-to-date naval forces' technology, and the ceaseless efforts for war preparedness. My study divided into two categories. Qualitative methods used for literature review of international relations theory related to the war onset and for investigating events occurred on the Peninsula and its surrounding seas from 1968 to 2007. Quantitative method used such as the analyses of national power index of the two Koreas, the United States, and China, the uses of equation model to calculate power index of alliance, COPDAB(Conflict and Peace Data Bank) index analysis. Like Choi's study on East Asia maritime conflict, as a conclusion, considering both AT theory and maritime national power as a tool for predicting maritime conflict in the Peninsula proved significant. Based on the study, ROK navy need to prepare for the maritime conflict because the results showed North Korea would initiate maritime disputes sooner or later using fatal asymmetric forces and methods. As a policy suggestion, we are required to maintain a concrete ROK-US alliance ties and to construct naval forces due to the deterring functions of maritime national power.
