변곡점 및 단구간 에너지평가에 의한 음성의 천이구간 특징분석 (Analysis of Transient Features in Speech Signal by Estimating the Short-term Energy and Inflection points)

  • In this paper, I would like to propose a dividing method by estimating the inflection points and the average magnitude energy in speech signals. The method proposed in this paper gave not only a satisfactory solution for the problems on dividing method by zero-crossing rate, but could estimate the feature of the transient period after dividing the starting point and transient period in speech signals before steady state. In the results of the experiment carried out with monosyllabic speech, it was found that even through speech samples indicated in D.C. level, the staring and ending point of the speech signals were exactly divided by the method. In addition to the results, I could compare with the features, such as the length of transient period, the short term energy, the frequency characteristics, in each speech signal.

회로 시뮬레이션을 위한 단일전자 트랜지스터의 과도전류 모델링 (Transient Modeling of Single-Electron Transistors for Circuit Simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 과도상태 회로 시뮬레이션에서 각각의 단일전자 트랜지스터 (Single electron transistor: SET)가 독립적으로 다루어질 수 있는 영역을 체계적으로 조사했다. Interconnection 정전용량이 충분히 큰 회로의 과도상태 시뮬레이션에서도 정상상태 경우와 마찬가지로 각각의 SET가 독립적으로 다뤄질 수 있음을 찾았다. 그러나, 각각의 SET들이 서로 독립적으로 다뤄질 수 있는 interconnection의 부하정전용량은 정상상태보다 약 10배 정도 크다. 이런 조건에서 SPICE에 적용 가능한 단일전자 트랜지스터 (Single electron transistor: SET)의 과도상태 compact 모델을 제시한다. 이 모델은 SPICE main routine의 admittance 행렬과 전류 행렬 구성 요소를 효율적으로 만들기 위해 새롭게 개발된 등가회로 접근방식에 기초한다. 과도상태 모델은 전자우물 안의 전자 개수를 정확히 계산하기 위해서 시변 master 방정식 solver를 각각 포함한다. 이 모델을 이용해서 단일전자 회로 및 단일전자 소자/회로와 CMOS 회로가 결합한 SET/CMOS hybrid 회로를 성공적으로 계산했다. SPICE에 적용된 기존의 시뮬레이터의 결과와 비교해서 상당히 일치하며 CPU 계산 시간도 더 짧아짐을 보인다.

  • 정류상태(steady state)와 과도상태(transient state)의 Tafel 기울기, 순환 전압-전류 곡선, 임피던스 측정자료에 기초하여 인공해수에서 구리의 부식과 부동화에 대한 반응 메커니즘을 제안하였다. 구리의 산화환원 반응은 인공해수에서의 산소농도와 전극전위에 의존함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 슬라이딩 모드 제어기의 채터링 현상을 제거하기 위한 개선된 방법을 제안한다. 기존 방법은 스위칭함수의 미분을 특정 상수 또는 스위칭함수의 비례항으로 수렴하도록 하여 과도상태의 채터링을 제거하였으나, 제안된 방법은 스위칭함수의 미분이 스위칭함수의 비례-적분 항에 수렴하도록 하여 과도상태 및 정상상태에서의 채터링 혈상을 제거한다. 제안된 방법과 기존 방법을 비교 검토하기 위해 브러시리스 직류전동기 속도제어기에 대하여 모의실험을 통해 그 유용성을 확인한다.

A New Definition of Short-circuit Ratio for Multi-converter HVDC Systems

  • In this paper, a new definition of short-circuit ratio concept for multi-converter HVDC systems is proposed. Analysis results of voltage interaction between converters show that the reactive power-voltage characteristic of a converter has a dominant effect on voltage interaction level compared with its active power-voltage characteristic. Such a relation between converter reactive power and voltage interaction level supports taking the former into account in the definition of short-circuit ratio concept for multi-converter systems. The proposed definition is verified by the method of maximum power curve for various system configurations. Furthermore, a formula to calculate transient overvoltage for multi-converter systems is derived based on the proposed definition, and the efficiency of the derived formula is verified.

  • In order to understand the flow and filtration characteristics in a wall-flow type DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter), 0-D, 1-D, and 3-D simulations are preformed. In this paper, three model are explained and validated with each other. Based on the comparisons with 1-D and 3-D results for the steady state solution, 3-D CFD analysis is preferable to 1-D for the prediction of wall velocity at the inlet and exit plane. Because PM loading process is transient state phenomena, the combination of full 3-D and time dependent simulation is crucial for the configuration of wall channels.   • This paper proposes the fuzzy logic based variable step-size MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) method for the stability at the steady state and the improvement of the transient response in the wind power system. If the change value of duty ratio is set on stability of the steady state, MPPT control traces to maximum power point slowly. And if the change value is set on improvement of the transient response, the system output oscillates at the maximum power point. By adjusting the step size with fuzzy logic, it can be improved the MPPT response speed and stability at steady state when MPPT control is performed to track the maximum power point. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by simulations and experimental results.

  • This paper presents dimming control system for automotive 35W metal halide discharge(MHD) lamp electronic ballast. HID lamp demands a highly efficient ballast and very complex control circuitry that can control complex transient state in applying to automotive. Therefore, in this paper, a microcontroller-based digital control method for the HID lamp ballast is presented for optimal control that can adapt complex transient state, steady state and various environments. In developed dimming system, the system is designed to control the lamp output voltage step by step(continuous) using microcontroller according to CdS sensor. Therefore the designed dimming control system give good driving condition to diver and realize the power control effectively. The results of the proposed system is verified through various experiment results.

  • Generally, while PD-type fuzzy controller has good performance in transient period, it has uniform steady state error of response. To improve limitations of PD-type fuzzy controller, we propose a new fuzzy controller to improve the performance of transient response and to eliminate the steady state error of response. In this paper, PD-type fuzzy controller is used a simplified indirect inference method(SIIM). When the SIIM is applied, the proposed method has the capability of the high speed inference and adapting with increasing the number of the fuzzy input variables easily. The outputs of this controller are the output calculated by PD-type fuzzy controller and the accumulated error scaling factor. Here, the accumulated error scaling factor is adjusted by fuzzy rule according to the system state variables. To show the usefulness of the proposed controller, it is applied to 0-type 2nd-order linear system.

  • A new method measuring thermal conductivity of fluids is proposed in this research. It is based on the steady state heat transfer from a hot central cylinder to a cold outer cylinder located concentrically. This method guarantees more stable measurement than conventional THM(transient hot-wire method) due to its simplicity of theoretical principle. Measurements was made for the three nanofluid samples with different particle concentration of pure, 2% and 4%. Nanofluids are made by mixing the pure transformer oil with AlN nano particles. Design of the sensor module and experimental procedures are explained and comparison of the measuring data between present method and THM was made in detail.
