모델링오차와 불확실성을 지배적으로 받는 시스템의 강인한 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Robust Control of Systems Dominantly Subkected to Modeling Errors and Uncertainties)

  • In order to control systems which are dominantly subjected to modeling errors and uncertainties, control strategies must deal with the effect of modeling errors and uncertainties. Since most of control methods based on system mathematical model, such as LQG/LTR method, have been developed mainly focused on stability robustness, they can not smartly improve the transient response disturbed by modeling errors and/or uncertainties. In this research, a fuzzy PID control method is suggested, which can stably improve the transient responses of systems disturbed by modeling errors as well as systems not entirely using mathematical models. So as to assure the effectiveness of suggested control method, computer simulations are accomplished for some example systems, through the comparison of transient responses.

  • Transient stability analysis is concerned with a power system's response to unwanted disturbance. Recently, direct method which utilize the stable region of stable equilibrium point is used to analyze transient stability This paper focuses on the controlling UEP method using the fractal behaviours. In the controlling UEP method, many algorithms are used to find controlling UEP However, the existence of fractal region gives difficulty in finding the controlling UEP. So, this paper observes the fractal feature arid introduce the fractal index to explain how much the fractal region occupies in the entire space. Using an improved algorithm from the view point of fractal index, we are going to find the controlling UEP.

민감도 함수의 최대치 제어를 통한 강인제어 (Robust Control via Peak Control of Sensitivity Function)

  • This article describes a robust control method by using peak control of a sensitivity function in the state-feedback control systems. This method apparently reduces the peak, and as a result makes closed loop systems more stable. The designed closed loop systems also make the response to an external step disturbance more fast with a lower undershoot. At the conclusion, it is verified that the proposed method enhances robust stability and robust performance to parametric uncertainties through $\mu$-plot.

FA용 직류전동기 제어기 설계 (Design of a DC Motor Controller for FA)

  • In this paper, a speed controller using a controller is implemented and applied to a DC motor for FA ( Factory Automation ). The objective of this paper treats the analytical and experimental studies on the improvement of control circuit and control method using a SCR-LEONARD circuit for the speed control of DC motor. This system is concerned with stabilization of single input or single output systems, so the plant (SCR-LEONARD+DC motor) is simplified to the first order system. The parameters for the PID controller are obtained by the transient-response tunning method, and this control scheme has a backward-shift operator. The control algorithms (Chopper+transient response tunning) is used to check the performance of PID Controller through Computer simulations and experiments. The good experiment results show that the direct control of the DC motor applied to industrial field such oi factory automation.

지수형 온도변화를 이용한 표면 열전달의 측정 (Measurement of Surface Heat Transfer Using Exponential Temperature Variations)

  • A single blow, transient testing method for determining the heat transfer characteristics of heat exchanger surfaces are presented. The exponential inlet temperature variations were made using screen mesh with small time constant and frontal velocities of the test section. The system is used to investigate the usefulness of a model with exponential inlet temperature variations. A data reduction program is developed to calculate the temporally and spatially averaged heat transfer coefficient using the measured disturbance and response of the fluid temperature. The results are compared with the existing theoretical and experimental data for parallel plate stacks. It was recommended to take an average for the time greater than the 99% of the final temperature had reached in order to obtain fairly good results.

외부 가진력을 고려한 사판식 압축기 회전축-베어링계의 동적 거동 해석 (Dynamic Behavior Analysis of Rotor-Bearing System Under External Forces in Swash Plate Compressor)

  • The dynamic behavior of rotor-bearing system used in swash plate compressor has been investigated using the combined methodologies of finite elements and transfer matrices. The finite element is formulated including the field element for a shaft section and the point element for swash plate, disk pulley and bearings. The Houbolt method is used to consider the time march for the integration of the system equations. The transient whirl response of rotating shaft supported on roller bearings is obtained, considering compression forces and unbalance forces at swash plate and driving pulley. And, the steady state displacements of the rotor are compared with a variation in unbalance mass. Results show that the loci of rotating shaft considering unbalance forces and external compression forces are more severe in flutter motion than with only unbalance forces.

  • 전원사고로 인하여 야기되는 전원급변상황에서 위상각의 새로운 PLL 방법은 추종속도를 개선시키기 위하여 제안되었다. 일반적으로 측정된 전원이 이상적이지 않고 고조파가 포함되어 있으며 센서의 노이즈 때문에 동기좌표계 PLL의 피드백 루프에는 LPF를 사용하고 있다. 그러므로 과도상태의 빠른 동특성을 얻기 위해서 LPF를 고려한 PLL시스템의 모델링을 제안하였다. 또한 전원의 급변 시에 빠른 위상각 검출을 위한 방법으로 자동으로 제어기 대역폭과 LPF의 차단주파수를 변동시키는 가변 파라미터 PLL방법을 제안하였다. 이를 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 검증하여 유효성을 보이고자 한다.

  • As the first step to the dynamic stress analysis of structures, transient responses of a Timoshenko beam with variable section subject to impact load are analyzed. According to the various characteristics of impact load, time histories of the transient response of Timoshenko beam with general boundary conditions are obtained and compared with those of one degree of freedom system. Numerical solutions of the governing equations of motion are calculated by adopting the equivalent lumped-mass system and the finite difference method. It is found that the dynamic responses of Timshenko beam depend on the effect of concentration and location of impact load. As a result, increasing tendency of fluctuation in dynamic response, especially in bending moment, is found according to the increase of load concentration factor in time and space.

  • A design of PI controller to be used to control the first-order lag plus dead time process, such as a flow process, by the coefficient diagram method (CDM) is investigated. The factor of the dead time of process is first approximated to be the first-order by the Pade approximation. The response of the flow control system designed by CDM satisfy both transient and steady state specifications. However, the transient response generally still has long rise time. In order to improve the speed of the system response, a feedforward controller (FFC) is added into the PI control system.   • In this paper, the magnitude of undershoot and overshoot in a prototype second order system with one positive real zero is computed by the analytic methods. Also, it will be shown that the peak times of the undershoot and overshoot can be calculated using the impulse and step response of the second order system. Three different cases are investigated: underdamped(p<ζ<1), critically damped(ζ=1) and overdamped(ζ>1) cases. We deal with the undamped(ζ=0) case as a special case of the underdamped. And a compensation method is proposed to reduce undershoots of the nonmininmun phase system using feedforward compensator.
