  • This paper presents the transient impedance when high current impulse up to 5 kA is applied to a scaled grounding grid in test field. For a realistic analysis of transient impedance on the high current impulse in the ground systems, grounding electrode installed outdoors and impulse current generator was used. The results were discussed based on its voltage and current trace, impulse impedance and V-I curve.

  • The insulation strength between contacts after current interruption to the transient recovery voltage i.e., the dielectric recovery strength should be estimated for the evaluation of the small capacitive current interruption capability. Many authors have used theoretical and semi-experimental approaches to evaluate the transient breakdown voltage after the current interruption. Moreover, an empirical equation, which is obtained from a series of tests, has been used to estimated the dielectric recovery strength. Un this paper, the theoretical method which is generated from the streamer theory has been applied to real circuit breakers in order to evaluated the interruption capability. The results of analysis have been compared with the test results and the reliability has been investigated.

  • In this paper, we propose a new discrete-time predictive current controller for a PM-LSM(permanent magnet linear synchronous motor). The main objectives of the current controllers are to ensure that the measured stator currents tract the command values accurately and to shorten the transient interval as much as possible, in order to obtain high-performance of ac drive system. A new control strategy is seen the scheme that gets the fast adaptation of transient current change, the fast transient response tracking and is proposed simplified calculation. Moreover, the simulation results will be verified the improvements of predictive controller and accuracy of the current controller.

  • The electrochemical behavior of dissolved hydrogen (H2) was investigated at a Pt electrode in a high temperature LiOH-H3BO3 solution. The diffusion current of the H2 oxidation was proportional to the concentration of the dissolved H2 as well as the reciprocal of the temperature. In the polarization curve, a potential region in which the oxidation current decreases despite an increase in the applied potential between the H2 oxidation and the water oxidation regions was observed. This potential region was interpreted as being caused by the formation of a Pt oxide layer. Using the properties of the Cl- ion that reduces the growth rate of the Pt oxide layer, it was confirmed that there is a correlation between the Cl- ion concentration and the transient current of the H2 oxidation.

  • In this paper, we propose a new discrete-time predictive current controller for a PMLSM(permanent magnet linear synchronous motor). The main objectives of the current controllers are that the measured stator current is tracked the command current value accurately and the transient interval is shorten as much as possible, in order to obtain high-performance of ac drive system. The conventional predictive current controller is hard to implement in full digital current controller since a finite calculation time causes a delay between the current sensing time and the time that take to apply the voltage to motor. A new control strategy is the scheme that gets the fast adaptation of transient current change, the fast transient response tracking. Moreover, the simulation results will be verified the improvements of predictive controller and accuracy of the current controller.

실리콘 산화막에서 저레벨누설전류 특성 (The Characteristics of LLLC in Ultra Thin Silicon Oxides)

  • 본 논문은 금속 산화물 반도체의 산화막 두께, 채널 폭과 길이에 따른 실리콘 산화막의 신뢰성 특성을 연구하였다. 스트레스전류와 전이전류는 스트레스 전압에 의하여 발생된다. 스트레스 유기 누설전류는 스트레스 전압 인가 동안과 인가 후의 실리콘 산화막에 나타난다. 이때 저레벨 스트레스 전압에 의한 저레벨 누설전류는 저전압 인가 동안과 인가 후의 얇은 실리콘 산화막에서 발생한다. 저레벨 누설전류는 각각 스트레스 바이어스 조건에 따라 스트레스전류와 전이전류를 측정하였다. 스트레스 채널전류는 일정한 게이트 전압이 인가동안 측정하였고 전이 채널전류는 일정한 게이트 전압을 인가한 후에 측정하였다. 본 연구는 소자의 구동 동작 신뢰성을 위하여 저레벨 스트레스 바이어스 전압에 의한 스트레스 전류와 전이전류가 발생되어 이러한 저레벨 누설전류를 조사하였다.

  • Although DC ground resistance is a good index of performance for a grounding system, it does not reflect the grounding performance during the transient states. Besides, impulse ground impedance, which is defined by a ratio of the peak value of transient ground potential rise to the peak value of impulse current, cannot be an absolute performance index due to its dependence on impulse current shape. In this paper, a grounding performance of needle-typed ground rod has been compared with simple ground rod using HIFREQ[1], which is an engineering electro-magnetic code based on MoM (Method of Moment).

  • In this paper, the transient shielding characteristics of slitted electrothermal shield of superconducting alternator is studied. The field current and the armature currents variations during three phase short circuit fault are calculated and compared to those of the conventional one. And the response of the armature current due to step-up of the excitation voltage showes the feasibility of the quick response excitation system available for improving the transient stability.
