전자기형 리타더의 전력회수장치 및 전압제어 (Electromagnetic Retarder's Power Recovery Device and Voltage Control)

  • Usually, large-sized buses and trucks have a very high load. In addition, frequent braking during downhill or long-distance driving, causes the conventional method using the brake friction to have a problem in safety because of brake fade and brake burst phenomenon. Auxiliary brakes dividing the braking load is essential. Hence, environment-friendly auxiliary brakes, such as contactless brake rather than the engine auxiliary brake system are needed. A study aimed at improving the energy efficiency by recharging electric energy with changing mechanical to electrical energy that occurs when braking is actively in progress. In this paper, the voltage control method is utilized to recover the electric energy generated in the electromagnetic retarder instead of the eddy current. To regenerate the braking energy into the electrical energy, the resonant L-C circuit is configured in the retarder. The voltage generated in the retarder is simply modeled as a transformer. However, retarder voltage control in this paper is simulated by modeling the induction generator because this induction generator modeling is more practical than transformer modeling. The changes in the voltage of the resonance circuit, which depends on the switch pulse duration of the control device, were analyzed. A PI controller algorithm to control this voltage is proposed. The feasibility of modeling retarder and voltage controller are shown by using MATLAB Simulink in this paper.

BLU의 모델링을 통한 특성 해석 (Analysis of characteristic through BLU modeling)

  • A kind of fluorescent lamps CCFL(Cold Cathod Fluorescent Lamp) is used for backlight of LCD and the demand of backlight for TV is getting more. CCFL is also used in a backlight for TFT-LCD panel. BLU(Backlight Unit) has lots of components so it looks a electrical product. As the size of LCD display is larger with increasing of the demand, to drive CCFL inverter is more important. Therefore, a sort of modeling to drive 4 lamps with a transformer is used and we have a simulation test with proposed modeling so we can take some data from the test. The utility of the proposed modeling is verified through using for 30-inch LCD backlight with the data.

Dual-scale BERT using multi-trait representations for holistic and trait-specific essay grading

  • As automated essay scoring (AES) has progressed from handcrafted techniques to deep learning, holistic scoring capabilities have merged. However, specific trait assessment remains a challenge because of the limited depth of earlier methods in modeling dual assessments for holistic and multi-trait tasks. To overcome this challenge, we explore providing comprehensive feedback while modeling the interconnections between holistic and trait representations. We introduce the DualBERT-Trans-CNN model, which combines transformer-based representations with a novel dual-scale bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) encoding approach at the document-level. By explicitly leveraging multi-trait representations in a multi-task learning (MTL) framework, our DualBERT-Trans-CNN emphasizes the interrelation between holistic and trait-based score predictions, aiming for improved accuracy. For validation, we conducted extensive tests on the ASAP++ and TOEFL11 datasets. Against models of the same MTL setting, ours showed a 2.0% increase in its holistic score. Additionally, compared with single-task learning (STL) models, ours demonstrated a 3.6% enhancement in average multi-trait performance on the ASAP++ dataset.

스코트 변압기 보호계전기 오동작 사례분석 및 개선방안 고찰 (A Study on SCOTT Transformer Protection Relay Malfunction Case and Improvement Methodology)

  • 본 국내 교류전철변전소에서는 주변압기 2차측의 위상각이 $90^{\circ}$인 단상 전원을 얻도록 한 스코트 결선 변압기를 설치 운용 하고 있다. 변압기 보호계전기는 내부에서 고장이 발생하는 경우 변압기 전단에서 전력을 차단시키고 변압기 외부 계통의 사고나 일반차량 운행의 경우에는 동작하지 않아야 한다. 정확한 고장의 판단으로 오동작을 줄이는 것이 전력계통을 안정적으로 유지하고 신뢰성을 향상시키는 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 주 변압기 내부 고장 검출장치로는 브흐홀쯔계전기와 비율차동계전기를 설치하여 변압기를 보호하고 있지만 비율차동계전기의 오동작으로 인해 보호기능을 비활성화 시켜놓은 상태로 운용하는 사례가 있다. 본 논문에서는 스코트 변압기의 특성과 비율차동계전기의 특성을 제시하고 보호계전기의 오동작 사례를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전력계통 해석프로그램을 이용하여 스코트 변압기에 사용되는 비율차동계전기를 모델링하고 A변전소의 Comtrade 파일로 저장된 고장파형을 입력데이터로 사용하여 동작여부를 판단하여 고조파 분석을 수행하였다. 또한, 고장파형 분석을 통해 오동작 사례에 대한 개선 방안을 도출하고자 한다.

압전 트랜스포머를 이용한 PDA용 CCFL구동회로의 모델링과 동작특성 (Modeling and Characteristics of PDA CCFL Driving Circuits for Piezoelectric Transformer)

  • In this paper, to apply piezoelectric transformer for PDA backlight inverter, piezoelectric transformer using the composition which $Nb_2O_5$ added into PNW-PMN-PZT ceramics was fabricated as Rosen-type one with the size of $1165mm^3$. And their electrical characteristics were investigated with the variations of load resistance and driving frequency And then, the driving circuit for PDA CCFL(0.6W) which composed of the two MOSFETs connecting in series was manufactured using piezoelectric transformer, VCO and one-chip microprocessor. After driving for 25 min using the proposed circuit for PDA CCFL(0.6W), driving frequency of 214.4kHz, input voltage of 31.78 V and input current of 21.1mA were shown. And then, output voltage of 293.2 V and output current of 2.2mA were shown. At the same time, efficiency of 96.2$\%$ and temperature rise of $3.6^{\circ}C$ were appeared at the piezoelectric transformer.

동적전압보상기를 위한 정합 변압기의 돌입전류 제어 (Inrush Current Control of Matching Transformer for Dynamic Voltage Restorer)

  • 본 논문에서는 동적전압보상기 (DVR)를 구성하기 위한 정합 변압기의 돌입전류 제어기법을 제안하였다. DVR 시스템은 배전계통에서 발생하는 순시적 전압강하를 보상하기 위한 직렬전압 주입장치로서, 임의의 전압을 생성하는 PWM 인버터와 전압 평활용 LC 수동필터 및 절연을 위한 정합 변압기 등으로 구성된다. 그러나 정합 변압기의 사용은 변압기내에서 자속 포화현상에 의하여 정격의 수배에 달하는 돌입전류가 발생하여 시스템의 절연파괴를 초래하고 이 때문에 변압기의 정격용량을 2 배 정도로 초과하여 사용하게 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정합 변압기의 자속 포화현상에 따른 돌입전류의 크기를 분석할 수 있는 새로운 모델링 분석기법 및 돌입전류의 크기를 제한하는 자화전류 제어기법을 제안하였다. 모의실험 및 실험을 통하여 제안된 DVR 제어기법의 타당성을 입증하였다.

태양광전원 연계용변압기의 결상사고 검출 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on Detection Algorithm of Open Phase Fault in Grid-Connected Transformer for PV System)

  • 태양광전원이 설치된 배전선로의 단선 등으로 결상사고가 발생하는 경우, 연계용변압기의 철심형태 및 결선 방법에 따라 여러 가지 문제점이 발생할 가능성이 있다. 즉, 단선사고 발생 시 태양광전원 인버터의 단독운전 방지기능에 따라 결상을 감지하여 발전을 정지해야 하지만, 결상을 인지하지 못하고 계속 발전하는 사례가 보고되고 있으며, 연계용 변압기의 역조류 현상으로 인해 결상된 상으로 전원을 공급하여 계통에 악영향을 주는 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 하지만, 기존의 결상사고 보호계전기(Open Phase Relay, 47)는 태양광전원 연계용변압기의 결선방식과 철심형태에 따라 결상된 상에 전압이 유지될 수 있어서, 결상사고 검출이 어려워, 새로운 결상사고 검출 알고리즘이 요구되고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 전류비교방식의 개념을 이용하여, 연계용변압기 1, 2차측의 전류와 위상을 비교하여 결상사고를 검출하는 새로운 개념의 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한, 전력계통 상용해석 프로그램인 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용하여 수배전반, 저압배전선로, 부하, 연계용변압기, 태양광전원으로 구성된 배전계통과 결상사고 검출 보호장치의 모델링을 수행하고, 이를 바탕으로 결상사고 검출 보호장치를 구현한다. 상기의 모델링과 결상사고 검출 알고리즘을 바탕으로 태양광전원 연계용 변압기의 결선방식과 철심구조에 따라 결상사고 검출 보호장치의 특성을 분석한 결과, 결상 시 연계용변압기의 동작 기울기와 1차측 전류 불평형률이 보호장치의 정정 값(30[%])을 초과함에 따라 결상사고가 정확하게 검출되어, 제안한 알고리즘이 결상사고 보호방식에 유용함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Recently, demands for the development of compact, lightweight power supplies with higher power density and higher efficiency have been increased. Since Piezoelectric Transformer (PT) was emerged in device and material industry, it has been suggested as a viable alternative to the magnetic transformer in some applications. PT has some advantages such as low profile and mechanical energy transfer with little electromagnetic interface (EMI). Also, PT can provide high voltage stepping ratio with good isolation and requires no copper windings saving copper usage especially for large voltage conversion differences. Conventional control of PT converter has mainly two-way. One is the pulse frequency modulation (PFM) control method and the other is the pulse width modulation (PWM) control with frequency fixed method. It is known that the maximum PT efficiency can be obtained when it operates near the resonant frequency of the PT. And, also PT's resonant frequency moves according to the load condition. Therefore, selection of PT converter control method is very difficult. This paper analyzes general piezo-electric converter modeling and proposes a guide-line to selection of control method and stabilization control.

Rosen형 적층 압전변압기의 등가회로 모델링 (Equivalent Circuit Modeling of Rosen-type Multilayer Piezoelectric Transformer)

  • In this paper, the equivalent circuit model of a Rosen-type multilayer piezoelectric transformer(MPT) has been proposed based on the Mason's equivalent circuit model and the principle of single layer piezoelectric plate. From the piezoelectric direct and converse effects, the symbolic expressions between the electric inputs and outputs of the MPT have been derived from the equivalent circuit model. A simplified equivalent circuit model of the MPT whose driving part has a single input form has been proposed. The symbolic expressions of the driving part have been derived from the simplified equivalent circuit model and the model was compared with the multi-input equivalent circuit model through the simulation. In the comparisons between the simulation results and the experimental data, output voltage is 630 Vp-p in case of 11-layered MPT and 670 Vp-p for 13-layered MPT over the experiment range. As the load resistance increases, output voltage increases and saturates over $300k{\Omega}$ and the resonant frequency changes from 102 kHz to 103 kHz. The simulation and the experimental results agree well over different load resistances and frequencies.

고압폐쇄분전반의 전력케이블 헤드와 안전셔터에서의 사고위험 평가 (Accident Risk Assessment between Power Cable Head and Safety Shutter in Medium Voltage Metal-Clad Switchgear)

  • This paper describes the accident analysis by modeling the current transformer mounting in meaium voltage metal-clad switchgear(MCSG). In analyzing the accident the reconstruction at the current transformer mounting(VCB connecting guide) has to be taken into account. The accident was modelled as a 3-phase ground fault mounting between the end plate of a high voltage lines and the safety shutter at the current transformer mounting of the VCB inside the metal clad switchgear. Since the outside maintenance of the metal clad switchgear is restricted by the enclosed compartments, its circumference has to be kept clean. Through the reconstruction results, it was confirmed that the fault of the enclosed switchboard could be reduced when the shutter made of Fe material was changed into an insulation.
