  • To study and locate partial discharge(PD) and analyze the transient state of power transformer, there is a need for a high frequency model of transformer winding and calculation of its parameters. Due to the high frequency nature of partial discharge phenomenon, there is a need for an accurate model for this frequency range. To attain this goal, a Multi-Conductor Transmission Line (MTL) model is used in this paper for modeling this transformer winding. In order that the MTL model can properly simulate the transformer behavior within a frequency range it is required that its parameters be accurately calculated. In this paper, all the basic parameters of this model are calculated by the use of Finite Element Method (FEM) for a 20kV winding of a distribution transformer. The comparison of the results obtained from this model with the obtained shape of the waves by the application of PD pulse to the winding in laboratory environment shows the validity and accuracy of this model.

  • This paper proposes a magnetic analysis model and design method of transformer for the high-speed EMU. It has a many part of the consideration in design because the transformer in high-speed train has the multiple output. Also the output characteristic, weight, and size of transformer is an important factor. This research proposes a design method of transformer in high-speed EMU. And it is easy to design by using the analysis model in design the transformer through the establishment of the magnetic analysis model.

  • With the recent development of Generative AI technology by IT giants, the size of the transformer model is increasing exponentially over trillion won. In order to continuously enable these AI services, it is essential to reduce the weight of the model. In this paper, we find a hardware-friendly structured pruning pattern and propose a lightweight method of the transformer model. Since compression proceeds by utilizing the characteristics of the model algorithm, the size of the model can be reduced and performance can be maintained as much as possible. Experiments show that the structured pruning proposed when pruning GPT-2 and BERT language models shows almost similar performance to fine-grained pruning even in highly sparse regions. This approach reduces model parameters by 80% and allows hardware acceleration in structured form with 0.003% accuracy loss compared to fine-tuned pruning.

  • Numerical calculations of turbulent natural convection in an enclosure of the 20 kYA oil-immersed transformer model are presented. The transformer is modelled as two concentric cylinders with different heights and diameters. The thermal boundary layers are well represented in the temperature distributions along the wall of the transformer model. The flow stratification between the hot and cold walls can not be seen in the transformer model. The turbulence eddy viscosity has its maximum at the center of the core and its maximum values at the top of the core are larger than those at the bottom of the core.

  • Recently, the efficiency of power transformer is improved as well as the size is becoming smaller. So, it is very important that temperature characteristics of the transformer should be estimated and predicted precisely. This paper deals with the temperature distribution of power transformer by simplified 2-D hybrid mesh model. The temperature distribution of model transformer was obtained by CFD algorithm considering natural convection. Heat sources are calculated first by magnetic field analysis based on F.E.M. and are usedas the input data for thermal field problem based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD) algorithm. The calculated temperature distribution of the simplified 2-D power transformer model shows good results in accuracy as well as in computing time.

  • This paper is described about design and manufacture of the LVI tester and the model transformer. And we develope the analysis technology of the LVI test with using the developed LVI tester and the model transformer. The LVI tester is consisted of a main body, terminal boxes and cables. It is estimated that the tester has output characteristic to match ANSI specification. The winding deformation models are made of model transformer having tapes and we discuss about the analysis technology of LVI test using the tester and the model transformer.

  • In order to improve the efficiency of the main transformer in a tilting train, the optimal operation of a cooling system is necessary. For the development of the optimal control algorithm of a cooling system, the mathematical model of a main transformer cooling system was developed. This includes the dynamic model of a main transformer, an oil pump, an oil cooler and a blower. The system algorithm of a cooling system, which consists of the temperature setpoint algorithm and the temperature control algorithm, was developed. Optimal oil temperatures of the inlet and the outlet of the main transformer were obtained by considering the total electric power consumption of the system. The oil inlet temperature was controlled by the blower and the oil outlet temperature was controlled by the oil pump. A simulation program was developed by using the mathematical model and the system algorithm. Simulation results showed that the system algorithm developed from this study may be effectively used to control the main transformer cooling system in a tilting train.

  • In three-phase power, when the power is supplied to the single phase load, there is the unbalance of load in the three-phase power. So the scott transformer is used in the power system to supply a single phase load in three-phase power without the unbalance of loads. Especially, the scott transformer is used in the AC substation of electric railroad. Two single phase transformers are combined by T-wiring in the scott transformer. So, two single phase voltage is provided by differing $90^{\circ}$ phase in three-phase power. The selection of related equipment and correction of protective relay are not easy from characteristic of the scott transformer when shunt and ground faults occur. In this paper, electric model of the scott transformer is suggested and the current of the scott transformer in shunt and ground faults is analyzed. Also, the scott transformer model is demonstrated by using Sinulink.

  • The study identified the various causes of odor problems, the discomfort they cause, and the importance of the public health and environmental issues associated with them. To solve the odor problem, you must identify the cause and perform an accurate analysis. Therefore, we proposed a CNN-Transformer hybrid model (CTHM) that combines CNN and Transformer and evaluated its performance. It was evaluated using a dataset consisting of 120,000 odor samples, and experimental results showed that CTHM achieved an accuracy of 93.000%, a precision of 92.553%, a recall of 94.167%, an F1 score of 92.880%, and an RMSE of 0.276. Our results showed that CTHM was suitable for odor analysis and had excellent prediction performance. Utilization of this model is expected to help address odor problems and alleviate public health and environmental concerns.
