  • Style transfer is one of deep learning-based image processing techniques that has been actively researched recently. These research efforts have led to significant improvements in the quality of result images. Style transfer is a technology that takes a content image and a style image as inputs and generates a transformed result image by applying the characteristics of the style image to the content image. It is becoming increasingly important in exploiting the diversity of digital content. To improve the usability of style transfer technology, ensuring stable performance is crucial. Recently, in the field of natural language processing, the concept of Transformers has been actively utilized. Attention maps, which forms the basis of Transformers, is also being actively applied and researched in the development of style transfer techniques. In this paper, we analyze the representative techniques SANet and AdaAttN and propose a novel attention map-based structure which can generate improved style transfer results. The results demonstrate that the proposed technique effectively preserves the structure of the content image while applying the characteristics of the style image.

  • In this paper an active random noise control using adaptive learning rate neural networks is presented. The adaptive learning rate strategy increases the learning rate by a small constant if the current partial derivative of the objective function with respect to the weight and the exponential average of the previous derivatives have the same sign, otherwise the learning rate is decreased by a proportion of its value. The use of an adaptive learning rate attempts to keep the learning step size as large as possible without leading to oscillation. It is expected that a cost function minimize rapidly and training time is decreased. Numerical simulations and experiments of active random noise control with the transfer function of the error path will be performed, to validate the convergence properties of the adaptive learning rate Neural Networks. Control results show that adaptive learning rate Neural Networks control structure can outperform linear controllers and conventional neural network controller for the active random noise control.

  • PCB (Printed Circuit Board) inspection using a deep learning model requires a large amount of data and storage. When the amount of stored data increases, problems such as learning time and insufficient storage space occur. In this study, the existing object detection model is changed to a continual learning model to enable the recognition and classification of PCB components that are constantly increasing. By changing the structure of the object detection model to a knowledge distillation model, we propose a method that allows knowledge distillation of information on existing classified parts while simultaneously learning information on new components. In classification scenario, the transfer learning model result is 75.9%, and the continual learning model proposed in this study shows 90.7%.

  • With rapid change and intensive competition in the global economy, the capability to capture, absorb, develop, and transfer new knowledge is a key organizational success factor. Through effective learning, companies are more likely to develop the innovation, quality, and responsiveness essential to meet the growing expectations of customers and the disruptive threats of competitors and new technologies. In the paper the role of technological innovation and its relationship to organizational learning in managing technology-based new products are examined. Several factors which can influence the rate and effectiveness of organizational learning are identified. Barriers to learning also are discussed. Finally, several managerial implications and propositions for future research on learning and technological innovation are advanced.

  • In this paper, we propose a stage-wise knowledge transfer method that uses block-wise retraining to transfer the useful knowledge of a pre-trained residual network (ResNet) in a teacher-student framework (TSF). First, multiple hint information transfer and block-wise supervised retraining of the information was alternatively performed between teacher and student ResNet models. Next, Softened output information-based knowledge transfer was additionally considered in the TSF. The results experimentally showed that the proposed method using multiple hint-based bottom-up knowledge transfer coupled with incremental block-wise retraining provided the improved student ResNet with higher accuracy than existing KD and hint-based knowledge transfer methods considered in this study.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of mental simulation practice training using standardized patients for nursing students. This study is a single-group pre- and post-design study, and for data collection, a structured questionnaire was provided to 95 nursing students from a university located in J. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 27.0 program. Results of the study The mental simulation practice training program using standardized patients improved the subject's learning motivation (t=-2.011, p=.046), learning self-efficacy (t=-2.225, p=.027), and learning satisfaction (t=-). 3.428, p=.001) and transfer motivation (t=-2.628, p=.009). In addition, as a result of analyzing the self-assessment contents by text mining, words related to mental simulation practice education using standardized patients included situation, experience, acting, communication, scenario, and mental nursing clinical practice, and words related to satisfaction were actual, There was help, response, understanding, variety, etc. As a result of this study, an environment similar to the actual situation was implemented, and the mental simulation training program applying various cases was found to be effective in practical education of nursing students, so it is necessary to actively utilize it to improve the ability to adapt to the field in the future.
