This paper mainly deals with a transaction model for the reliability guarantee in a Web-Based Real-Time Reservation Service System. We suggest the Web-Based Global Transaction Model which binds up each transaction currently divided by a function into one transaction and deals with one transaction. Also, we propose a Fail-Check Process in order to deal with the exceptions to be happened in a transaction process. And the simulation shows us that the model which we suggest is feasible and possible through the transaction processing procedure.

Recent advances in technologies such as internet have led to the emergence of virtual universities. However, existing technologies have many problems to be applied on virtual university implementation. Especially, existing transaction models are not appropriate to support virtual universities. In this paper, we present a transaction model to support virtual universities. First, we discuss general virtual university environments. After that, we introduce transaction model requirements for virtual universities. Those requirements include on-line processing, flexibility on transaction length, unpredictability, interactivity and parallelism. Then, we present a transaction model reflecting those requirements, and transaction processing techniques. Finally, we discuss future research issues based on our transaction model and processing techniques.

As the technical advances in portable computers and wireless communication technologies, mobile computing environment has been rapidly expanded. The mobile users on mobile host can access information via wireless communication from the distributed heterogeneous multidatabase system in which pre-existing independent local information systems are integrated into one logical system to support mobile applications. Hence, mobile transaction model should include not only the features for heterogeneous multidatabase systems but also the ones for mobile computing environment. In this paper, we proposed a mobile flex transaction model which extends the flexible transaction model that previously proposed for heterogeneous multidatabase systems is extended to support the requirements of mobile heterogeneous multidatabase systems. We also presented the execution control mechanism of the mobile flex transaction model. The proposed mobile flex transaction model allows the definition of location-dependent subtransactions, the effective support of hand-over, and the flexibility of transaction executions. Hence, the proposed mobile flex transaction model can be suit to mobile heterogeneous multidatabase systems that have low power capability, low bandwidth, and high communication failure possibility.

We analyze a transaction mechanism so-called the revenue sharing transaction model and its dynamics in a supply chain with two competing suppliers and a monopolistic retailer when the demand pattern is uncertain and the back-order is allowed in case. We assume that the products by the suppliers are substitutable each other with a certain degree even though their retail prices are different. It is proved that a supplier and the retailer in the supply chain have some room for enjoying the possibility of their increased profits comparing with the present ones by adopting the suggested revenue sharing scheme. Furthermore, such a transaction model is beneficial even to the customers by offering a lower retail price than before. On the contrary, we observe that another supplier which sticks to an existing transaction scheme is supposed to suffer some decrease in its profit as a result.

Commerce activities which are free form space and time constraint using a communication network are called Electronic Commerce(EC). Because of sending a commercial information using open network such as Internet in EC, they need the security of commerce information (payment information and purchase information), checking the integrity of transferring data and certifying all parts participated in commerce for a secure commerce. Recently Visa and MasterCard Co. released the Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) Protocol for secure payment card transaction on Internet. This paper proposes a Secure Electronic Commerce Transaction Model(SECTM) using SET in order to support the secure commerce on Internet. The proposed transaction model prevents merchant from abusing the cardholder's payment information (credit-card number etc.) and enables cardholder to shop securely in Electronic Shopping Mall.

In on-line transaction, the transparency is the key factor for the taxation and customer's rights. Using the cash register concept of the off-line transaction, we studied on-line transaction register model for the e-commerce transparency. Although on-line transaction register may be used under the related e-commerce laws, in this paper, we only considered the mechanism of the register. The register issues the digital receipt, and then the receipt can be verified the validation by the models developed in this paper.

We analyze a systematic relationship between transaction mechanisms and wholesale pricing schemes within a supply-chain with two competing suppliers and a monopolistic retailor. When one of the suppliers changes its transaction mechanism from an independent scheme to a cooperative one, then the wholesale prices of the suppliers become cheaper than before. When one supplier changes its transaction scheme to a cooperative one while the other supplier sticks to the existing independent transaction scheme, we show that the supplier with a cooperative transaction scheme can realize the increased profit via a profit sharing contract with the retailer but the supplier with independent transaction scheme can face the decreased profit. We also show that both suppliers can achieve the higher profits by adopting the cooperative schemes with the retailer.

This study examines the model of perceived risk, trust, and continuous transaction intentions presented in a study of the buying behavior in International Transaction. Although most of the trade transactions have been studied as a legal supplement, trade transactions are also purchasing behavior aimed at maintaining continuous transaction intentions between the parties. The study results confirmed that perceived risk could be separated into risk neutrality, risk - taking and risk aversion, and perceived risk had an effect on trust. In addition, the trust affected by perceived risk in the trade transaction model has a statistically significant effect on continuous transaction intentions. The study results confirm that the theoretical background used in previous studies of purchase behavior models is also effective in trade transaction.

Recently, transaction data is accumulated everywhere very rapidly. Association analysis methods are usually applied to analyze transaction data, but the methods have several problems. For example, these methods can only consider one-way relations among items and cannot reflect domain knowledge into analysis process. In order to overcome defect of association analysis methods, we suggest a transaction data analysis method based on probabilistic graphical model (PGM) in this study. The method we suggest has several advantages as compared with association analysis methods. For example, this method has a high flexibility, and can give a solution to various probability problems regarding the transaction data with relationships among items.

Farmland transaction prices are affected by various factors such as politics, society, and the economy. The purpose of this study is to identify multiple factors that affect the farmland transaction price due to changes in the actual transaction price of farmland by farmland unit from 2016 to 2020. There are several previous studies analyzed the determinants of farmland transaction prices by considering spatial dependency. However, in the case of land transactions where the time and space of the transaction affect simultaneously, if only spatial dependence is considered, there is a limitation in that it cannot reflect spatial dependence that occurs over time. In order to solve these limitations, To address these limitations, this study builds a spatio-temporal autoregressive model that simultaneously considers spatial and temporal dependencies using farmland transactions in Jinju City as an example. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that there was significant spatio-temporal dependence in farmland transactions within the previous 30 days. This means that if the previous farmland transaction was carried out at a high price, it has a spatio-temporal spillover effect that indirectly affects the increase in the price of other nearby farmland transactions. The study also found that various location attributes and socioeconomic attributes have a significant impact on farmland transaction prices. The spatio-temporal autoregressive model of farmland prices constructed in this study can be used to improve the prediction accuracy of farmland prices in the farmland transaction market in the future, and it is expected to be useful in drawing policy implications for stabilizing farmland prices
