This study presents new scheme for various walking pattern of biped robot under the limitted enviroments. We show that the neural network is significantly more attractive intelligent controller design than previous traditional forms of control systems. A multilayer backpropagation neural network identification is simulated to obtain a learning control solution of biped robot. Once the neural network has learned, the other neural network control is designed for various trajectory tracking control with same learning-base. The main advantage of our scheme is that we do not require any knowledge about the system dynamic and nonlinear characteristic, and can therefore treat the robot as a black box. It is also shown that the neural network is a powerful control theory for various trajectory tracking control of biped robot with same learning-vase. That is, we do net change the control parameter for various trajectory tracking control. Simulation and experimental result show that the neural network is practically feasible and realizable for iterative learning control of biped robot.

The Field robot means the machinery applied for outdoor tasks in construction, agriculture and undersea etc. In this study, to field-robotize a hydraulic excavator that is mostly used in construction working, we have developed an automatic excavation system and an adaptive control system. A model-reference adaptive controller has been designed based on the model that is obtained through off-line system identification. It is illustrated by computer simulations that the proposed control system gives good performance in the trajectory tracking control and the adaptation to parameter variation.

The work to raise the bridge plate by using two hydraulic cylinders is very dangerous when generating the unbalance state between cylinders. For solving this problem, one cylinder is forced to follow the trajectory of another cylinder instead of applying the same trajectory to two cylinders at once. In this paper, the control method for dynamic stable on lifting the bridge plate is proposed. The simulation model is derived by using commercial software, AMESim and MatLab/simulink. The PID controller is designed on one cylinder for following the reference trajectory and the adaptive controller is designed on another cylinder for tracking the displacement of one cylinder. The performance improvement is shown by comparing the simulation results through computer simulation.
This paper presents a non-regressor based adaptive control scheme for the trajectory tracking of underwater vehicle-mounted manipulator systems(UVMS). The adaptive control system includes a class of unmodeled effects is applied to the trajectory control of an UVMS. The only information required to implement this scheme ios the upper bound and lowe bound of the system parameter matrices the upper bound of unmodeled effects the number of joints the position and attitude of the vehicle and trajectory commands. The adaptive control law estimates control gains defined by the combinations of the bounded constants of system parameter matrices and of a filtered error equation. To evaluate the performance of the non-regressor based adaptive controller computer simulation was performed with a two-link planar robot model mounted on an underwater vehicle. The hydrodynamic effects acting on the manipulator are included. It is assumed that the vehicle's motion is slow and can be predicted with a proper compensator.
For the conveyor tracking application of a robot manipulator, a new control scheme is presented. The presented scheme is divided into two stages : the upper one is the motion planning stage and the lower one is the motion control stage. In the upper stage, the nominal trajectory which tracks the part moving in a constant velocity, is planned considering the robot arm dynamics. On the other hand, in the lower level, the perturbed trajectory is generated to track the variation in the velocity of conveyor belt via sensory feedback and the perturbed arm dynamics. In both stages, the conveyor tracking problem is formulated as an optimal tracking problem, and the torque constraints of a robot manipulator are taken into account. Simulation results are then presented and discussed.

For monitoring the flight trajectory and the status of a launch vehicle, the mission control system in NARO space center process data acquired from the ground tracking system, which consists of two tracking radars, four telemetry stations, and one electro-optical tracking system. Each tracking unit exhibits its own tracking error mainly due to multi-path, clutter and radio refraction, and by utilizing only one among transmitted informations, it is not possible to determine the actual vehicle trajectory. This paper presents a way of generating flight trajectory via post-processing the data received from the ground tracking system. The post-processing algorithm is divided into two parts: compensation for atmosphere radio refraction and multi-sensor fusion, for which a decentralized Kalman filter was adopted and implemented based on constant acceleration model. Applications of the present scheme to real data resulted in the flight trajectory where the tracking errors were minimized than done by any one sensor.

This paper presents a dynamic compensation methodology for robust trajectory tracking control of uncertain robot manipulators. To improve tracking performance of the system, a full model-based feedforward compensation with continuous VS-type robust control is developed in this paper(i.e,. robust decentralized adaptive control scheme). Since possible bounds of uncertainties are unknown, the adaptive bounds of the robust control is used to directly estimate the uncertainty bounds(instead of estimating manipulator parameters as in centralized adaptive control0. The global stability and robustness issues of the proposed control algorithm have been investigated extensively and rigorously via a Lyapunov method. The presented control algorithm guarantees that all system responses are uniformly ultimately bounded. Thus, it is shown that the control system is evaluated to be highly robust with respect to significant uncertainties.
In this paper, we propose a robust controller for trajectory control of n-link robot manipulators using feature based on visual feedback. In order to reduce tracking error of the robot manipulator due to parametric uncertainties, integral action is included in the dynamic control part of the inner control loop. The desired trajectory for tracking is generated from feature extraction by the camera mounted on the end effector. The stability of the robust state feedback control system is shown by the Lyapunov method. Simulation and experimental results on a 5-link robot manipulator with two degree of freedom show that the proposed method has good tracking performance.

In this paper, a trajectory tracking problems using SMC(sliding mode control) is presented. In the conventional method. SMC has been applied to linear systems and the output matrix C has to satisfy a restrictive condition that CB is nonsingular. Under suitable assumptions, decoupling SMC can be adapted to remove the restriction mentioned above. The Proposed control strategy is applied to trajectory tracking control and simulations results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

This paper deals with the problem of generating the energy optimal trajectory which is intended to enhance the target tracking performance of a passive homing missile. Noticing that the essence of passive target tracking is the range estimation problem, the target information gathered by passive measurements can be readily analyzed by introducing the range estimator designed in line-of-sight(LOS) frame. Moreover, for the linear filter structure of the suggested range estimator, the cost function associated with the target information is clearly expressed as a function of the line-of-sight rate. Based on this idea, the optimal missile trajectory maximizing the target information is obtained by solving the saddle point problem for an indefinite quadratic cost which consists of the target information and the energy. It is shown that, different from the previous heuristic approaches, the guidance command producing the optimal passive homing trajectory is produced by the modified proportional navigation guidance law whose navigation constant is determined by the weighting coefficient for target information cost.
