Background: The main purpose of this study was to survey the education and training of certified gynecologic oncologists and fellows in Thailand. A secondary objective was to study the problems in fellowship training regarding palliative care for gynecologic cancer patients. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study was conducted by sending a questionnaire regarding palliative care education to all certified gynecologic oncologists and gynecologic oncology fellows in Thailand. The contents of the survey included fellowship training experience, caring for the dying, patient preparation, attitudes and respondent characteristics. Statistics were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation and chi-square. Results: One hundred seventy completed questionnaires were returned; the response rate was 66%. Most certified gynecologic oncologists and fellows in gynecologic oncology have a positive attitude towards palliative care education, and agree that "psychological distress can result in severe physical suffering". It was found that the curriculum of gynecologic oncology fellowship training equally emphasizes three aspects, namely managing post-operative complications, managing a patient at the end of life and managing a patient with gynecologic oncology. As for experiential training during the fellowship of gynecologic oncology, education regarding breaking bad news, discussion about goals of care and procedures for symptoms control were mostly on-the-job training without explicit teaching. In addition, only 42.9 % of respondents were explicitly taught the coping skill for managing their own stress when caring for palliative patients during fellowship training. Most of respondents rated their clinical competency for palliative care in the "moderately well prepared" level, and the lowest score of the competency was the issue of spiritual care. Conclusions: Almost all certified gynecologic oncologists and fellows in gynecologic oncology have a positive attitude towards learning and teaching in palliative care. In this study, some issues were identified for improving palliative care education such as proper training under the supervision of a mentor, teaching how to deal with work stress, competency in spiritual care and attitudes on responsibility for bereavement care.

In this study, adaptation of two-way shape memory effect of SMA wire to the actuator is examined . Therefore the SMA characteristics which are training, material properties, response time at different thermal cycling rates are tested. During training, permanent deformation is accumulated till a certain number of cycle and then saturated. The amow1t of two-way strain is unchangeable over all cycle and the slope of strain(or stress)-temperature curve is slower as the increase of applied stress. The rate effect is observed resulted from the thermal distribution which heating profile differs from cooling as thermal cycling time. Using the estimated SMA properties, an experimental test for the simple smart wing is performed.

This study was designed to find out the effect of Nosema spore on oxidative damages and antioxidant defence in the midgut of tasar silkworm Antheraea mylitta. Higher level of lipid peroxidation (LPX) and total hydroperoxides indicate the resultant oxidative stress in the Nosema exposed specimen. Increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) suggests activation of physiological mechanism to scavenge the superoxide radical produced during Nosema infection. Higher activities of catalase and glutathione-S-tranferase on $18^{th}$ d indicate adaptive behaviour of the tissue against oxyradicals. The results suggest that Nosema infection is involved in altering the active oxygen metabolism by modulating LPX and reactive oxygen species (ROS), which is indicative of pebrine disease disorder.
One of the recent proposals with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a multi-bore NMR which consists of array of magnets which could present possibilities to quickly cope with pandemic virus by multiple inspection of virus samples. Low temperature superconductor (LTS) can be a candidate for mass production of the magnet due to its low price in fabrication as well as operation by applying the helium zero boil-off technology. However, training feature of LTS magnet still hinders the low cost operation due to multiple boil-offs during premature quenches. Thus in this paper, LTS magnet with low mechanical stress is designed targeting the "training-free" LTS magnet for mass production of magnet array for multi-bore NMR. A thorough process of an LTS magnet design is conducted, including the analyses as the followings: electromagnetics, mechanical stress, cryogenics, stability, and protection. The magnet specification was set to 4.7 T in a winding bore of 85 mm, corresponding to the MR frequency of 200 MHz. The stress level is tolerable with respect to the wire yield strength and epoxy crack where mechanical disturbance is less than the minimum quench energy.
This study investigated the influence of English vowel pronunciation training to English word-initial stop pronunciation. For that purpose, VOT values of English stops produced by twenty Korean English learners(five Youngnam dialect male speakers, five Youngnam dialect female speakers, five Kangwon dialect male speakers, and five Kangwon dialect female speakers) were measured using the Speech Analyzer and their post-training production was compared with their pre-training production. The result shows that post-training VOT values of voiced stops became closer to those of native English speakers in all four groups. Hence, it can be inferred that vowel pronunciation training is effective for correcting pronunciation of voiced vowels by analyzing the change of the quality of following vowels(especially low vowels) and the degree of giving stress.
Appropriate physical position and balance means giving the least stress and the most useful biomechanically to the body. As this fails, one would have functional recovery problem regardless of disability. There reported better effective on Dynamic training rather than Static training for a proper recovery of physical position, and additionally required Sensory Feedback. Those who have disability of balance, especially Central Nervous System lesion should he provided with variety of Sensory Feedback, and also Dynamic Balance training used by is quite effective.
Purpose: This study was to evaluate the effects of rehabilitation training using video game on improvement range of motion for upper -extremity, shoulder pain and stress in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods: The study utilized nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. Participants are sampled from a group of people who are hospitalized in rehabilitation medicine ward at 'K' university hospital in 'S' city from January 1st 2011 to October 31th. Each 28members of control group and experimental group, total 56members were participated. One task is for 10minutes, and the video game for total 30minutes performed 5 times a week, for 3weeks. Data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 17.0. Results: The range of motion for upper-extremity in experimental group was significantly different from that in control group(shoulder flexion t=7.70, $p$ <.001, extension t=7.80, p<.001, abduction t=6.95, $p$ <.001, elbow flexion t=6.47, $p$ <.001). The shoulder pain score in experimental group was significantly different from that in control group(t=-14.58, $p$ <.001). The level of stress in experimental group was significantly different from that in control group(t=-4.89, $p$ <.001). Conclusion: The result proved that rehabilitation training using video game was an effective stroke patients to increase in range of motion for upper-extremity and decrease in the shoulder pain, stress.

This study was to examine the effectiveness of brainwave training by observing the pre and post brainwave measurement results of about 48 (experimental group 24, comparative group24) subjects who have shown resistancestress and student assessment. The study took place at neuro-training center in P city I, during Jul. 2008 and Dec. 2008. As the brainwaves are adjusted by Brain Quotient, the tool used to measure the student assessment was 5Likert Scale questionnaire. The result confirmed the differences of both resistance stress quotient and student assessment. The result of the study suggest brainwave technique's possibility in positively affecting the subjects" resistance stress quotient and student assessment. This study revealed meaningful relation between neurofeedback training and stress among several categoties, while suggesting follow-up researches figuring out more detailed explanations.
Purpose: This study was aimed to identify the effects of a self-foot reflexology massage on depression, stress responses and functions of the immune system of middle-aged women, Method: This study was a one group pretest-postlest experimental design and the data was collected from August $1^{st}$ 2004 to May $31^{st}$ 2005. The subjects consisted of 46 middle-aged women (40 - 64 years) who were recruited from the Community Health Center in Busan city. Subjects were not treated for 4 weeks, subsequently they were trained in self foot reflexology massage for 2 weeks, and then they did their own daily for 6weeks (2 days at the research center, 5 days at home). The outcome variables were measured 4 times, at baseline, pre training, after training, and after the intervention. The collected data was analyzed using repeated measure ANOVA by the SPSS/WIN program. Result: There was a statistically significant difference in depression, perceived stress, systolic blood pressure, natural-killer cells and Ig G. However, there was not a statistically significant difference in dyastolic blood pressure, pulse or serum cortisol. Conclusion: These results suggest that a self-foot reflexology massage could be utilized as an effective nursing intervention to reduce depression and stress responses, and to strengthen immune systems in middle-aged women.
