  • Learners and users of a second language have to resort to a variety of conversational strategies or structures to enable them to communicate effectively and competently. Factors affecting effective communication among English as a second or English as foreign language (ESL/EFL) learners are diverse in nature because of different socio-cultural backgrounds. Gambits as a conversational strategy are used to a large extent and teachers must be made aware of such conversational strategies used by English as second or foreign language learners. Thus, studies focusing on conversational strategies among ESL/EFL learners in the English language classroom are important in order to identify the types of conversational strategies used and to help teachers to understand the appropriate conversational strategies and structures. Such understanding can be used to guide learners to use correct conversational strategies when communicating in English. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the use of gambits as a communication strategy in conversation among non-native speakers of English in an English as a second language(ESL) context based on Kellers conversational strategy signals. • The organization of business included many a factors that gave rise to the stress. The modem peoples in this organization lived in the flood of the stress. Job stress was an important factors which injured of the employee health, the employee health injured reduce the organizational function. The factors such as personal differences, stressors, personality, cognitive traits etc. should be considered in the study of job stress. The cognitive appraisal is an important factor in the study of job stress and a process of coping strategy. Job stress can be controlled and coped by organizational and personal ability. The coping strategy of job stress is also determined by the personal differences rather than by the intensity of stress symptoms. In copying the stress, to be considered the factors such as interpersonal correlation, organizational climate, career development, job redesign, selection and placement, training. However, these factors should be managed in the scientific, objective, reasonable manner effectively.

  • This research presents a fuel cell simulator for control logic verification and operator training. Nowadays, power industries are focusing on clean energy as a response to new policy. The fuel cell can be the solution for clean energy, but operating technology is not well developed compared to other conventional power plans because of its short history. Therefore we need a simulator to verify the new control strategy and train operators, because the price of a real fuel cell system is too high and mechanically weak to be used for these kind of purposes. To develop the simulator, a 300 KW MCFC(Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell) system was modeled with stack, BOPs(pre-reformer, steam generator, etc) and mechanical components(valves, pipes, pumps, blowers, etc). The process model was integrated to emulated control system and HMI(Human Machine Interface). A static load and open loop tests were conducted for verifying the accuracy of the process model, since it is the most important part in the simulation. After verifying the process model, an automatic load change and start-up tests were conducted to verify the performance of a new control strategy(logic and functional loops).

  • Rapid popularization of smart cell phone equipped with camera has led to a number of new legal and criminal problems related to multimedia such as digital image, which makes cell phone source identification an important branch of digital image forensics. This paper proposes a classifier combination based source identification strategy for cell phone images. To identify the outlier cell phone models of the training sets in multi-class classifier, a one-class classifier is orderly used in the framework. Feature vectors including color filter array (CFA) interpolation coefficients estimation and multi-feature fusion is employed to verify the effectiveness of the classifier combination strategy. Experimental results demonstrate that for different feature sets, our method presents high accuracy of source identification both for the cell phone in the training sets and the outliers.

  • Purpose: Increased awareness of the environment is essential, since the general health of people and the global economy is largely dependent on the health of the environment. The purpose of this study is to increase customer awareness and also to ensure that businesses enlighten their customers on how to act in an environmentally friendly manner, which can be done, for instance, through associations. Research design, data and methodology: Scant research is available regarding what elements of marketing strategy should be applied in an environmental plan to increase customer awareness. For this reason, this study suggests a specific marketing policy that conveys several strategies for practitioners who focus on successful environmental plans for their organizations. Results: The prior literature suggests that public education, mass media, campaign publications, and electronic networking, which are becoming more common today, can be used as platforms for conveying environmental messages that will increase environmental awareness among customers. Conclusions: Organizations can use health and safety training to ensure that customers are aware of the environment. Training programs by companies that point more to the environment can make customers aware of the environment and help them adopt activities that show respect to the environment.

  • In this paper, we investigate an individual channel estimation problem for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) two-way amplify-and-forward (AF) relay networks. To avoid self-interference during the estimation of the individual MIMO channels, a novel blind interference cancellation (BIC) approach is proposed based on an orthogonal preceding framework, where a pair of orthogonal precoding matrices is utilized at the source nodes. By designing an optimal decoding scheme, we propose to decompose the bidirectional transmission into a pair of unidirectional transmissions. Unlike most existing approaches, we make the practical assumption that the nonreciprocal MIMO channel and the mutual interference of multiple antennas are both taken into consideration. Under the precoding framework, we employ an orthogonal superimposed training strategy to obtain the individual MIMO channels. However, the AF strategy causes the noise at the terminal to be the sum of the local noise and the relay-propagated noise. To remove the relay-propagated noise during the estimation of the second-hop channel, a partial noise-nulling method is designed. We also derive a closed-form expression for the total mean square error (MSE) of the MIMO channel from which we compute the optimal power allocation. The simulation results demonstrate that the analytical and simulated curves match fully.

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the level of understanding, current management and degree of satisfaction about 'Cosmeceuticals' among pharmacists running pharmacists. Using this research as a foundation, pharmacies are able to prepare an implementation plan for the marketing of 'Cosmeceuticais'. The level of understanding among pharmacists surveyed was found to be rather low as yet, and it will be necessary to increase their specialized knowledge. Through this analysis of current conditions, several means for pharmacies to implement marketing of 'Cosmeceuticals' are evident. These include expanding the definition of 'Cosmeceuticals' reforming the system for inspecting 'Cosmeceuticals', developing and distributing various specialized 'Cosmeceuticals', initiating training for increasing the level of specialized knowledge of pharmacists, developing public information by corporations and consumer networks, driving coordinated marketing with medical associations, linking marketing with health foods, ensuring display space at pharmacies, and offering knowledgeable consultations and detailed information about the products. This research is significant in that it shows that a plan reforming pharmacy management, which is affected by the environment in pharmacies such as the separation of pharmacies from medical practices, should include the an increase in marketing for 'Cosmeceuticals'. This research will be of great usefulness in forming a foundation for the sales strategy and manufacturing of 'Cosmeceuticals' by pharmacists, for the training of distributors about 'Cosmeceuticals', and for developing a distribution strategy.

  • Virtual Training is an educational exercise in which the environment or the situation is virtually implemented for specific training and proceed like a real situation. In recent years, the virtual reality technology has developed rapidly, and the demand for experiencing situation that are not directly experienced in the real world is increasing more and more in virtual reality. Particularly, there is an increasing demand of contents for hands-on training and virtual training for equipment training that replaces high-risk and high-cost industry training. The virtual training contents have been developed and utilized for the purpose of technical training. However, it is known that virtual training is more effective when it is used as a supplementary training material or combined with e-learning contents rather than replacing one training course with virtual training contents because purpose and effect are different from general technical training course. In this study, we explored the development method for effective utilization of electrohydraulic servo control process, which is the virtual reality contents developed in 2017 in combination with e-learning contents. In addition, in order to establish a teaching and learning strategy, we actually develop and operate a case studies using virtual training contents. Surveys and case studies are conducted to investigate the effects of teaching and learning strategies applied in the classroom on students and their educational usefulness.
