  • Many alternatives have been discussed to reduce the medical expenditure and to use the medical resources effectively. Many studies about the economies of scale have been done for the last several decades. This study has analyzed the relationship between the number of beds and the mean expense per hospitalization day in Korea. A Cost Function Model was identified and we wanted to see the minimum optimal size with the cheapest mean expense per hospitalization day. The result is as follows; 1. In the Cost Function Mode, (the number of beds)$^{2}$, the number of personnel, productivity and training institutions are the factors that statisticaly influence the mean expenses. 2. By the univariate analysis the mean expense proved to be the smallest as the level of 150-200bed, The breaked down of the components of expenses shows that the mean labor cost is much different from the mean value of material and administration costs, and that hospital with 150-200 beds also have the minimal expense. The mean expense goes up dramatically in hospitals of 450 beds or more. 3. When the other conditions are constant, according to the multiple regression analysis of the mean expense per adjusted hospitalization day the minimum optimal size with the cheapest expense is a hospital with 191 beds and the hospital with 230 beds takes the lowest mean labor cost. The material or administration costs are not influenced by hospital size. This research has limitation in measuring the variables that influence hospital xpenses, in estimating hospital output by the number of beds in considering outpatient cost and in securing representativeness of hospitals because many hospitals made no responses to the research questionnare. But it is valuable and helpful for development of health policy to figure out the number of beds with the cheapest expense per hospitalization day.

  • Since the KONEX market was launched in 2013, many studies of the market have focused on policy reports and management of the market. In this study, we analyzed the impact of training and employee benefits expenses on business performance in the KONEX market in comparison with firms in the KOSDAQ 100. The expenses associated with employee training and benefits can have an overlapping power when explaining the business performance. To determine the net effect of each variable on business performance, we used regression by successive orthogonalization. The training and the employee benefits expenses in both markets showed a positive effect on business performance. However, in the KONEX market, we found that the lag effect of training expense to business performance was relatively smaller than in the KOSDAQ 100. This difference may be related to problems such as short continuous service and frequent turnover of SMEs in Korea, and implies that overall human resource management should be implemented to increase the efficiency of training expenses.

  • The main purpose of this paper is cost reduction in absurd pilot positive expense and human accident prevention which is caused by in the pilot selection process. We use classification models such as logistic regression, decision tree, and neural network based on aptitude test results of 505 ROK Air Force applicants in 2001~2004. First, we determine the reliability and propriety against the aptitude test system which has been improved. Based on this conference flight simulator test item was compared to the new aptitude test item in order to make additional yes or no decision from different models in terms of classification accuracy, ROC and Response Threshold side. Decision tree was selected as the most efficient for each sequential flight training result and the last flight training results predict excellent. Therefore, we propose that the standard of pilot selection be adopted by the decision tree and it presents in the aptitude test item which is new a conference flight simulator test.

  • Our country security industry 1960's service expense of the beginning U.S. army unit it accomplishes the growth which is quick with start, currently about 2,500 triumph the security enterprises which it goes over are being active. But the majority in these enterprise about lower cotton can a forever characteristic with pressure and the manpower civil official ability insufficient back of faithlessness management and capital power. To sleep with afterwords it presents the security dogs deployment plan for an efficient security together from the research which it sees hereupon and it does. First, it cultivates the domestic mountain progress dog which is a breed which is suitable with the security dogs and the shovel flesh dog back with the security dogs. Specially the Jindo of the breed which is excellent training which is suitable in task of the security dogs it leads and if it uses appropriately, it industrializes our specific the Jindo and protection there is a possibility of getting the effect which falls to also the gist which it rears rightly. It cultivate the second, security dogs and it magnifies training. The security dogs consequently is it will be able to accomplish the task above 2 branches to training method. Namely, after finishing obedience training, it is to be in security activity it will execute guard or detection back special training which is suitable in task and it will be able to commit. Third, it uses the security dogs which is trained rightly in task. The security dogs the adult escorts, facility expense, the explosive and narcotic drug detection, it will be able to use with the other blind man guidance dogs back. The narcotic drug detection dogs which currently is used specially technique intelligence anger, when considering the tendency of the narcotic drug smuggling offense field which becomes diversification that the role very it is important is a possibility of saying at day. It cultivate a fourth, escort relation specialty manpower and it improves the breed of the security dogs. The hazard which cultivate the security dogs use necessary personnel the breed of security dogs, the security dogs training center it opens the security crane relation subject of the college which stands and (university) it improves it establishes and training which is suitable in task it is to do to execute letting in the training map company. Specially, the hazard which improves the breed of security dogs in the progress mind quality which stands against the portion where the breed improvement is demanded as the portion where the internal organs research and investment are necessary sees. • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of corporation internal reservation on R&D investment. It is to find how much effect the reflux tax has achieved through empirical analysis. In addition, education training expense was taken as a moderating variable to find the effectiveness of government policy. Furthermore, the study looked through the effect once again by using GMB model. According to the result counted by regression analysis, it could be concluded that the effect of both moderation and intervention had a significant effect and the variable of interest cost and welfare & benefit cost in model 1, 2 and 3 had a meaningful impact at the level of 99%. On the other hand, the previous corporate internal reservation failed to show any significant result in all types of models. Even in GBM model of convergence level applied to additional analysis, similar results came out.

  • This paper presents a method to enhance the performance of supervised classification by separating the spectral signature of the training data sets for each class. Using clustering technique, a training data set is divided into several subsets which show a pattern of the normal distribution with small value of spectral variances. Then a supervised classification is applied with the divided training data set as training data for the temporary subclasses of the original class. The proposed method is applied to a Landsat TM image of Busan area for the applicability test. The result shows that the proposed method produces better classified results than the conventional statistical classification methods. It is expected that the proposed method will reduce the effort and expense for selecting the training data set for each class in an area which has spectrally homogeneous signature.

  • Purpose: This study was carried out to substantiate the application process of activity-based costing on the current cost of hospital home care (HHC) service. The study materials were documents, 120 client charts, health insurance demand bills, salary of 215 HHC nurses, operating expense, 6 HHC agencies, and 31 HHC nurses. Method: The research was carried out by analyzing the HHC activities and then collecting labor and operating expenses. For resource drivers, HHC activity performance time and workload were studied. For activity drivers, the number of HHC activity performances and the activity number of visits were studied. Result: The HHC activities were classified into 70 activities. In resource, the labor cost was 245₩per minute, operating cost was 9,570₩ per visit and traffic expense was an average of 12,750₩. In resource drivers, education and training had the longest time of 67 minutes. Average length of performance for activities was 13.7 minutes. The workload was applied as a relative value. The average cost of HHC was 62,741₩ and the cost ranged from 55,560₩ to 74,016₩. Conclusion: The fixed base rate for a visit in the current HHC medical fee should be increased. Exclusion from the current fee structure or flexible operation of traveling expenses should be reviewed.
