This study is a study that designed in-building antennas with improved orientation to improve 5G quality in buildings as 5G is stabilized and more and more traffic is expected to occur in buildings. Instead of applying the forward arrangement of antenna elements, which is the Yagi antenna propagation orientation principle, the antenna design method of vertical arrangement applied to the base station antenna was proposed, and it was confirmed through experiments that antenna orientation increased. According to the experimental results, the directivity did not increase significantly within 10m of the separation distance from the antenna, but the directivity increased by about 3dB at the distance separated by more than 10m. Considering that the wireless environment in the building has various variables such as structure of internal structure, materials such as concrete and glass, closed space, and walls, it is expected that antenna with improved orientation can expand the scope of 5G quality improvement and maintain stable communication service in the building.

Purpose: This study aims to establish the basic directions of the modular airborne infection isolation(AII) ward. Considering a specific function and purposed use as a modular AII ward, it is a chance to derive an address of current modular technology by overview the limitation and improvement of the existing modular architecture. Methods: In addition to the literature analysis on the configuration system of mobile hospitals, research cases on the operational effectiveness of the domestic and foreign mobile construction systems are analyzed. Results: In order to meet the various and strict space guidelines of the AII ward and a chance to improve limitations of uniformed existing modulars, AII modular the negative pressurized care setting should be minimized a structural restriction for reflecting its system on a architectural plan. For this unique requirements, it could be possible to apply various space boxes called infill box which needs to secure a large-scale space. So, a rahmen structure system could be adaptable for this purpose. A dead space between beams of the rahmen structure is to be used for MEP installation. Partial separation, dismantling, and repair should be possible by separating the MEP and infill box from the structure. The infill box must keep 3.5m width under the current Road Traffic Act. Implications: It is necessary to utilize and develop an improved construction method that can reduce the problems of existing steel modular and PC modular.

In response to the recent surge in aviation demand, major airports and aviation authorities continue to make efforts to formulate arrival and approach procedures that take into account efficient aircraft separation, noise and environmental issues of carbon (CO2) emissions. In order to ensure efficient traffic control and environmental issues, as a result, a new concept Trombone, Point Merge, etc. have been introduced and widely used in the domestic airspace. However, these new concept procedures which do not properly reflect the characteristics of the aircraft operation performance and the FMS vertical descent guidance hinder flight efficiency as well as bring in turn negative factors such as level-off flight and the use of drag device at the busiest phase of the flight descent operation, like the Continuous Descent Operation (CDO). Accordingly, throughout modification the current Standard Terminal Arrival Route (STAR) and Instrument Approach Procedure(IAP) that reflect the aircraft descent performance and the FMS guidance, the flight operation safety and efficiency is expected to be improved eventually. We herewith analyze and propose the way of improving flight efficiency in the arrival operation procedure by supplementary modification which consequently contribute to the aviation industry international competitiveness.
In this study, to search for events that cause high levels of PTSD symptoms, traumatic events are classified into 'criterion events' that meet DSM-IV-TR criteria and 'life stresssful events', conditional probability of PTSD was confirmed. From a sample of 1,000 adults residing in South Korea, 998 statistically relevant samples were extracted. Criterion events include cases of 'sexual harassment before age 16', 'sightings of other accidents', 'rape before 16', 'domestic violence before 16', 'disaster', 'traffic accidents', 'other accidents'. Life stressful events appeared to be 'legal arrest or detention(person and family)', 'parental separation or divorce', 'failure or despair causing serious stress', 'extreme conflict with family or frequent quarrels'. Among the demographic characteristics, age, marital status, religion were found to affect PTSD symptoms. The implications and limitations of these results are discussed.

Trip generation is the first step in the conventional four-step model and has great effects on overall demand forecasting, so accuracy really matters at this stage. A linear regression model is widely used as a current trip generation model for such plans as urban transportation and SOC facilities, assuming that the relationship between each socio-economic index and trip generation stays linear. But when rapid urban development or an urban planning structure has changed, socio-economic index data for trip estimation may be lacking to bring many errors in estimated trip. Hence, instead of assuming that a socio-economic index widely used for a general purpose, this study aims to develop a new trip generation model by type based on the market separation for the variables to reflect the characteristics of various zones. The study considered the various characteristics (land use, socio-economic) of zones to enhance the forecasting accuracy of a trip generation model, the first-step in forecasting transportation demands. For a market separation methodology to improve forecasting accuracy, data mining (CART) on the basis of trip generation was used along with a regression analysis. Findings of the study indicated as follows : First, the analysis of zone characteristics using the CART analysis showed that trip production was under the influence of socio-economic factors (men-women relative proportion, age group (22 to 29)), while trip attraction was affected by land use factors (the relative proportion of business facilities) and the socio-economic factor (the relative proportion of third industry workers). Second, model development by type showed as a result that trip generation coefficients revealed 0.977 to 0.987 (trip/person) for "production" 0.692 to 3.256 (trip/person) for "attraction", which brought the necessity for type classifications. Third, a measured verification was conducted, where "production" and "attraction" showed a higher suitability than the existing model. The trip generation model by type developed in this study, therefore, turned out to be superior to the existing one.

In this paper, low-rate TCP attack as one of shrew attacks is considered and the scaling based dynamic time warping (S-DTW) algorithm is introduced. The low-rate TCP attack can not be detected by the detection method for the previous flooding DoS/DDoS (Denial of Service/Distirbuted Denial of Service) attacks due to its low average traffic rate. It, however, is a periodic short burst that exploits the homogeneity of the minimum retransmission timeout (RTO) of TCP flows and then some pattern matching mechanisms have been proposed to detect it among legitimate input flows. A DTW mechanism as one of detection approaches has proposed to detect attack input stream consisting of many legitimate or attack flows, and shown a depending method as well. This approach, however, has a problem that legitimate input stream may be caught as an attack one. In addition, it is difficult to decide a threshold for separation between the legitimate and the malicious. Thus, the causes of this problem are analyzed through simulation and the scaling by maximum auto-correlation value is executed before computing the DTW. We also discuss the results on applying various scaling approaches and using standard deviation of input streams monitored.

Installation of digital tachograph, black box, and ADAS have been enforced to commercial vehicles for preventing violent driving and accidents by the Traffic Safety Act in Korea. Nevertheless, the damage caused by road hazards has increased 1.5 times in 2016 compared to 2013. So, developing new technologies that can identify road hazard using the sensors installed in commercial vehicles are conducting by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. As a part of the technologies, this research analyze the error range of GPS installed in commercial vehicles that vary according to the driving speed. As a result, the average error was 9.72m at the driving speed of 100km/h, and the error was 2.1 times larger than the average error of 4.69m at the driving speed of 40km/h. The event point proper integration/separation range(m) was analyzed to be 20m with a recognition rate of 90% or more at the same point regardless of driving speed. The results of this research can be used as basic data for improving the accuracy of location-based data would be collected using commercial vehicles.

A dual-channel glass coil sampling technique was used to measure hourly formaldehyde concentration in the ambient air. The dual-channel coil sampling assembly consists of three parts; an all-pyrex 28-turn coil made of 0.2-cm internal diameter glass tubing for gas-liquid contact and scrubbing of soluble gases, an inlet section upstream of the coil for introducing sample air and scrubbing solution, and a widened glass section downstream of the coil for gas-liquid separation. The scrubbing solution used was a dilute aqueous DNPH (dinitrophenylhydrazine) solution. Hourly concentration of formaldehyde was determined at a Gwangju semi-urban site during two intensive studies between September and October using the dual channel glass-coil/DNPH sampling technique and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis. The mean concentration was 1.7($0.4{\sim}4.7$) and 3.0($0.5{\sim}19.1$) ppbv for the September and October intensives, respectively, which are considerably low, compared to those measured in polluted urban areas around the world including several urban areas of Korea. The diurnal variation showed significant increase of formaldehyde in the daytime suggesting the dominance of formation of formaldehyde due to photochemical oxidation of methane and other hydrocarbons. An increase in the formaldehyde sometimes in the night might be due to an increase in primary source, i.e. traffic emissions. It was also found that rapid increase in formaldehyde levels from 3.0 to 19.1 ppbv in the afternoon on October 20 was due to plumes from burning of agricultural wastes such as rice straw and stubble. It is expected from the measurement data that the constructed dual-channel glass coil sampling system can be utilized for measuring atmospheric concentration of the formaldehyde with high time resolution.
This study is to find out the reasonable drainage system of sewerage in connection with the geographical conditions, the form of city, and the problem of sewerage in and around Seoul. (1) In supplying the sewerage sewer, the separating system is desirable in connection with the problem of sewerage disposal in future. However, in the existing urban district, the conjunction system is used because of the large amount invested according to the diversion of the sewer of the separation system and the influence of the traffic communication. The sewer of the separating system should be used in the case of the fundamental reconstruction of structure as the redevelopment of the urban district or the subway and new-development of area. Therefore, the separating system should be used completely until the goal year. (2) Drainage area was divided for the natural flowing, considering that the 38 streams and topography paly a role of the main stream of drainage. There are the branches, Guyui, Dug-island, Jayang, Hannam, Banpo, Amsa whose divisions are impossible. In these branches, the drain planning was suggested a forced control method by using the exiting pond age and the pumping station. (3) The best available method which improbes the water quality in Han river is as follows. The sewerage is catched and carried to the sewerage disposal plant by establishing the intercept sewer in both or one side of stream. At the same time, the groudwater volume which springs in each stream is drained separatively.
PURPOSES : This study determined the optimal usage rate of RAP (reclaimed asphalt pavement) using cold central-plant recycling (CCPR) on a road-surface layer. In addition, a mixture-aggregate gradation design and a curing method based on the proposed rate for the surface-layer mix design were proposed. METHODS : First, current research trends were investigated by analyzing the optimum moisture content, mix design, and quality standards for surface layers in Korea and abroad. To analyze the aggregate characteristics of the RAP, its aggregate-size characteristics were analyzed through the combustion asphalt content test and the aggregate sieve analysis test. Moreover, aggregate-segregation experiments were performed to examine the possibility of RAP aggregate segregation from field compaction and vehicle traffic. After confirming the RAP quality standards, coarse aggregate and fine aggregate, aggregate-gradation design and quality tests were conducted for mixtures with 40% and 50% RAP usage. The optimum moisture content of the surface-layer mixture containing RAP was tested, as was the evapotranspiration effect on the surface-layer mixture of the optimum moisture content. RESULTS : After analyzing the RAP recycled aggregate size and extraction aggregate size, 13-8mm aggregate was found to be mostly 8mm aggregate after combustion. After using surface-chipping and mixing methods to examine the possibility of RAP aggregate segregation, it was found that the mixing method contributed very little for 3.32%, and because the surface-chipping method applied compaction energy directly as the maximum assumption the separation ratio was 15.46%. However, the composite aggregate gradation did not change. Using a 40% RAP aggregate rate on the surface-layer mixture for cold central-plant recycling satisfied the Abroad quality standard. The optimum moisture content of the surface-layer mixture was found to be 7.9% using the modified Marshall compaction test. It was found that the mixture was over 90% cured after curing at $60^{\circ}C$ for two days. CONCLUSIONS : To use the cold central-plant recycling mixture on a road-surface layer, a mixture-aggregate gradation design was proposed as the RAP recycled aggregate size without considering aggregate segregation, and the RAP optimal usage rate was 40%. In addition, the modified Marshall compaction test was used to determine the optimum moisture content as a mix-design parameter, and the curing method was adapted using the method recommended by Asphalt Recycling & Reclaiming Association (ARRA).
