최적화 모형을 이용한 고속도로 측정교통량 보정 (Correction of Measured Traffic Volume on Expressways Using Optimization Model)

  • 본 연구는 도로교통량통계연보에서 제시하고 있는 고속도로 교통량을 보정하기 위해 측정오차를 최소화하면서 TCS 교통량과 교통량 균형을 만족시키는 최적화 모형을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서 구축한 모형을 실제교통량과 비교 검증하였다. 모형 검증 결과, 교통량 균형에 만족하도록 측정교통량을 보정할 경우, 보정교통량은 측정교통량에 비해 실제교통량과의 차이가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 경부고속도로 40개 구간에 적용 결과, 전체 구간에 대한 측정교통량은 -8.1%~9.6% 보정되었으며, 보정된 교통량만큼 측정오차가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고속도로의 규모와 역할이 증대되고 있는 가운데 고속도로 측정교통량의 정확성을 향상시켰다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

외부교통소음 측정 및 평가방법에 따른 소음특성 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Noise Characteristics for Measuring and Evaluating Method of Exterior Traffic Noise)

  • Recently, many apartment houses were built in nearby road and railway. Road traffic noise level and railroad traffic noise level are important factors on apartment houses inhabitant's acoustic comforts. The measurement methods which noted by Ministry of Construction & Transportation, Ministry of Environment and Korean Industrial Standard are used for measurement of exterior noise at apartment houses. The purpose of this study compare the noise level characteristic by the measuring methods and evaluating methods. The results show that road traffic noise in the daytime appeared by not greatly noise level difference by the measuring method and evaluating methods. But railroad traffic noise appeared by greatly the noise level difference by the equivalent noise level(1hour) and continuous time.

Precision Evaluation of Three-dimensional Feature Points Measurement by Binocular Vision

  • Binocular-pair images obtained from two cameras can be used to calculate the three-dimensional (3D) world coordinate of a feature point. However, to apply this method, measurement accuracy of binocular vision depends on some structure factors. This paper presents an experimental study of measurement distance, baseline distance, and baseline direction. Their effects on camera reconstruction accuracy are investigated. The testing set for the binocular model consists of a series of feature points in stereo-pair images and corresponding 3D world coordinates. This paper discusses a method to increase the baseline distance of two cameras for enhancing the accuracy of a binocular vision system. Moreover, there is an inflexion point of the value and distribution of measurement errors when the baseline distance is increased. The accuracy benefit from increasing the baseline distance is not obvious, since the baseline distance exceeds 1000 mm in this experiment. Furthermore, it is observed that the direction errors deduced from the set-up are lower when the main measurement direction is similar to the baseline direction.

  • 본 논문에서는 시스템 사용현황을 파악할 수 있는 데이터를 최대수용 트래픽양과 실제 트래픽량으로 구분해서 측정하며 프로토콜 변경에 따른 트래픽량 변화와 사고발생시의 과부하 조건에서의 트래픽을 분석할 것이다. 이로 인해 전력감시제어설비의 안전성을 극대화할 수 있는 계기를 미련하고자 한다 또한, 현재 유통되고 있는 트래픽이 어느 정도인지를 알고 그 증가율 추세를 파악하여 앞으로 예상되는 트래픽량을 미리 예측하여 필요한 대역폭을 미리 확보하는 자료로 활용하고, 네트워크 정보분석을 통한 한정된 네트워크 자원의 효율적인 배치로 안정된 전력감시페어시스템의 운용을 가능하게 함으로써 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • For the smooth flow of traffic vehicles and its effective management, it is necessary to have an exact information on traffic condition, i.e., the volume of traffic, velocity, occupancy and classification of vehicles. In particular, for classification of vehicles, there has been only image processing method using camera, where the method can obtain much information but rather expensive. In this paper, an algorithm for the measurement of velocity and total length of vehicles has been proposed to develop a general traffic management system, which is necessary to discriminate the class of vehicles. In order to realize the proposed algorithm, we have developed an ultrasonic spatial filtering method, which has better performance than that of using the traditional vehicle detector. To have this system to be constructed, we have introduced three sets of ultrasonic devices where each has one transmitter and two receivers which are arranged to obtain the spatial difference of objects. The velocity of vehicles can be measured by analyzing the occurrence time of pulses and their time differences. The total length of vehicles can be given by multiplying velocity with time interval of pulses sequence. To confirm the effectiveness of this measuring system, the experiment by the spatial filtering method using the ultrasonic sensors has been carried out. As the results, it is found that the proposed method can be used as one of measurement tools in the general traffic management system.

  • To improve the road transportation safety, the road traffic data is monitored by applying an image detection system. The road traffic safety is analysed using image processing techniques. For more accurate measurement, the coordinate matching of real road data to image is one of the most essential parts of the image detection technique. The road image is skewed at the input screen, because the video camera is installed at the roadside. A fast and precise algorithm for the coordinate matching is developed to convert image coordinates into road coordinates.

  • 네트워크를 사용하는 응용프로그램의 종류가 다양해지면서 네트워크 트래픽의 응용별 분류는 효율적인 네트워크 관리에 있어 그 중요성이 커지고 있지만, 오늘날 응용프로그램의 특징인 유동적인 포트번호 사용 및 패킷의 암호화 등은 트래픽의 응용별 분류를 더욱 어렵게 하고 있다. Well-known 포트기반의 응용별 분류방법의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 머신러닝 알고리즘과 Signature 기반 분석 방법들이 연구되고는 있지만 주장하는 높은 분석률에 비하여 실제 네트워크 트래픽에 적용하기에는 신뢰성이 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 일부 종단 호스트에 설치된 TMA(Traffic Measurement Agent)로 부터 수집한 응용프로그램의 트래픽 사용 정보를 기초로 하여 전체 네트워크 트래픽의 응용프로그램을 판별하는 응용 트래픽 분류 방법론을 제안한다. 제안된 방법론은 트래픽 플로우들의 상관관계를 이용하여 TMA 호스트 트래픽으로부터 TMA가 설치되지 않은 호스트에서 발생한 트래픽들의 응용을 판단하며, 분류 된 결과에 대하여 높은 신뢰성을 보장한다. 제안된 방법론은 학내 네트워크에 적용하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

Exploring Flow Characteristics in IPv6: A Comparative Measurement Study with IPv4 for Traffic Monitoring

  • With the exhaustion of global IPv4 addresses, IPv6 technologies have attracted increasing attentions, and have been deployed widely. Meanwhile, new applications running over IPv6 networks will change the traditional traffic characteristics obtained from IPv4 networks. Traditional models obtained from IPv4 cannot be used for IPv6 network monitoring directly and there is a need to investigate those changes. In this paper, we explore the flow features of IPv6 traffic and compare its difference with that of IPv4 traffic from flow level. Firstly, we analyze the differences of the general flow statistical characteristics and users' behavior between IPv4 and IPv6 networks. We find that there are more elephant flows in IPv6, which is critical for traffic engineering. Secondly, we find that there exist many one-way flows both in the IPv4 and IPv6 traffic, which are important information sources for abnormal behavior detection. Finally, in light of the challenges of analyzing massive data of large-scale network monitoring, we propose a group flow model which can greatly reduce the number of flows while capturing the primary traffic features, and perform a comparative measurement analysis of group users' behavior dynamic characteristics. We find there are less sharp changes caused by abnormity compared with IPv4, which shows there are less large-scale malicious activities in IPv6 currently. All the evaluation experiments are carried out based on the traffic traces collected from the Northwest Regional Center of CERNET (China Education and Research Network), and the results reveal the detailed flow characteristics of IPv6, which are useful for traffic management and anomaly detection in IPv6.

고속 인터넷 백본 링크상에서의 트래픽 측정에 의한 네트워크 공격 징후 탐지 방법 (Detection of Network Attack Symptoms Based on the Traffic Measurement on Highspeed Internet Backbone Links)

  • 본 논문에서는, 고속의 인터넷 백본 링크상에서 네트워크 공격의 징후를 트래픽 측정에 의하여 탐지해 내기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여, 인터넷 백본상에서 나타나는 정상 및 공격 트래픽의 패턴을 분석하였고. 이러한 트래픽 특성을 활용하여 네트워크 공격 감지를 위한 두가지 트래픽 척도를 도출하였다. 이들은 평균 파워 스펙트럼과 패킷수 대 트래픽양 비율이다. 그리고, 이들 트래픽 척도들을 집합된 트래픽 수준에서 측정함으로써 네트워크 공격 징후 감지를 위한 방법론을 제안한다. 실험 결과는 제안된 방법이 네트워크 공격 징후를 매우 잘 감지해내고 있음을 보여준다. 제안된 방법은 개별 플로우 또는 개별 패킷들에 기반을 둔 기존의 방법들과 달리, 집합된 트래픽 수준에서 운영되므로 계산의 복잡성을 현저히 줄일수있다.

  • A noise reduction policy can be more effectively made when automatic environmental noise measurement system is set up. However, the local characteristic of noise pollution requires a lot of measurement points. This study considers that automatic environmental noise measurement system connects with automatic air pollution measurement system and noise map. The measurement points of traffic volume by the National Police Agency and the Ministry of Construction and Transportation are investigated to use at drawing the road traffic noise map. Finally, the effective application method of the environmental noise measurement vehicle is discussed.
