음성 트래픽과 인터넷 트래픽 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Voice Traffic and Internet Traffic Estimation)

  • On this study we selected some variable which affect on the estimated of the voice traffic, and estimated daily average traffic by years according to the variables. We applied nonlinear growth curve model to future traffic forecast with estimated historical traffic data. As a result of the forecasting, this study investigates the year in which the internet traffic goes far than the voice traffic.

  • Demand forecasting for railroad traffic is fairly important to establish future policy and plan. The future demand of railroad traffic can be predicted by analyzing the demand of air, marine and bus traffic which influence the demand of railroad traffic. In this study, forecasting the demand of railroad traffic is implemented through neural network using the demand of air, marine and bus traffic. Estimate accuracy of the demand of railroad traffic was shown about 84% through neural net model proposed.

네트워크 서비스의 생존성을 높이기 위한 예측기반 이상 트래픽 제어 방식 분석 (Analysis of abnormal traffic controller based on prediction to improve network service survivability)

  • 본 논문에서는 네트워크의 생존성을 보장하고 신뢰성 높은 인터넷 서비스를 제공하기 위해 인터넷의 액세스점에 위치하는 예측기반 이상 트래픽 제어기(ATCoP, Abnormal Traffic Controller based on Prediction)를 제안한다. ATCoP는 네트워크로 유입되는 트래픽 중 이상 트래픽을 제어하는 방법으로서, 알려지지 않은 공격에 의해 트래픽이 과다하게 발생하는 경우에, 정상 트래픽에 우선권을 주기 위해 서비스 성공률을 측정하고 그 결과를 기준으로 정상 트래픽용 예약 채널의 수를 결정하여 정상 트래픽의 서비스 수준을 보장함으로써 서비스 생존성을 높히는 방법이다. 만일 예약 채널의 수가 증가하면, 이상트래픽에 할당되는 채널의 수가 감소하게 되어 이상트래픽의 서비스 생존율은 감소하게 된다. 분석결과, 제안 방식은 입력트래픽의 특정 범위에서는 정상트래픽의 블록킹율을 일정 수준으로 유지시켜주는 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

HSI/YCbCr 색상모델과 에이다부스트 알고리즘을 이용한 실시간 교통신호 인식 (Real Time Traffic Signal Recognition Using HSI and YCbCr Color Models and Adaboost Algorithm)

  • This paper proposes an algorithm to effectively detect the traffic lights and recognize the traffic signals using a monocular camera mounted on the front windshield glass of a vehicle in day time. The algorithm consists of three main parts. The first part is to generate the candidates of a traffic light. After conversion of RGB color model into HSI and YCbCr color spaces, the regions considered as a traffic light are detected. For these regions, edge processing is applied to extract the borders of the traffic light. The second part is to divide the candidates into traffic lights and non-traffic lights using Haar-like features and Adaboost algorithm. The third part is to recognize the signals of the traffic light using a template matching. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm successfully detects the traffic lights and recognizes the traffic signals in real time in a variety of environments.

Traffic Information Service Model Considering Personal Driving Trajectories

  • In this paper, we newly propose a traffic information service model that collects traffic information sensed by an individual vehicle in real time by using a smart device, and which enables drivers to share traffic information on all roads in real time using an application installed on a smart device. In particular, when the driver requests traffic information for a specific area, the proposed driver-personalized service model provides him/her with traffic information on the driving directions in advance by predicting the driving directions of the vehicle based on the learning of the driving records of each driver. To do this, we propose a traffic information management model to process and manage in real time a large amount of online-generated traffic information and traffic information requests generated by each vehicle. We also propose a road node-based indexing technique to efficiently store and manage location-based traffic information provided by each vehicle. Finally, we propose a driving learning and prediction model based on the hidden Markov model to predict the driving directions of each driver based on the driver's driving records. We analyze the traffic information processing performance of the proposed model and the accuracy of the driving prediction model using traffic information collected from actual driving vehicles for the entire area of Seoul, as well as driving records and experimental data.

도로시설물 관리를 위한 교통안전표지 인식 및 자동위치 취득 방법 연구 (The Road Traffic Sign Recognition and Automatic Positioning for Road Facility Management)

  • PURPOSES: This study is to develop a road traffic sign recognition and automatic positioning for road facility management. METHODS: In this study, we installed the GPS, IMU, DMI, camera, laser sensor on the van and surveyed the car position, fore-sight image, point cloud of traffic signs. To insert automatic position of traffic sign, the automatic traffic sign recognition S/W developed and it can log the traffic sign type and approximate position, this study suggests a methodology to transform the laser point-cloud to the map coordinate system with the 3D axis rotation algorithm. RESULTS: Result show that on a clear day, traffic sign recognition ratio is 92.98%, and on cloudy day recognition ratio is 80.58%. To insert exact traffic sign position. This study examined the point difference with the road surveying results. The result RMSE is 0.227m and average is 1.51m which is the GPS positioning error. Including these error we can insert the traffic sign position within 1.51m CONCLUSIONS: As a result of this study, we can automatically survey the traffic sign type, position data of the traffic sign position error and analysis the road safety, speed limit consistency, which can be used in traffic sign DB.

Development of a Multiple Linear Regression Model to Analyze Traffic Volume Error Factors in Radar Detectors

  • Traffic data collected using advanced equipment are highly valuable for traffic planning and efficient road operation. However, there is a problem regarding the reliability of the analysis results due to equipment defects, errors in the data aggregation process, and missing data. Unlike other detectors installed for each vehicle lane, radar detectors can yield different error types because they detect all traffic volume in multilane two-way roads via a single installation external to the roadway. For the traffic data of a radar detector to be representative of reliable data, the error factors of the radar detector must be analyzed. This study presents a field survey of variables that may cause errors in traffic volume collection by targeting the points where radar detectors are installed. Video traffic data are used to determine the errors in traffic measured by a radar detector. This study establishes three types of radar detector traffic errors, i.e., artificial, mechanical, and complex errors. Among these types, it is difficult to determine the cause of the errors due to several complex factors. To solve this problem, this study developed a radar detector traffic volume error analysis model using a multiple linear regression model. The results indicate that the characteristics of the detector, road facilities, geometry, and other traffic environment factors affect errors in traffic volume detection.

Traffic-induced vibrations at the wet joint during the widening of concrete bridges and non-interruption traffic control strategies

  • The rapid development of road transport has increased the number of bridges that require widening. A critical issue in the construction of bridge widening is the influence of vibrations of the old bridge on the casting of wet joint concrete between the old and new bridges owing to the running traffic. Typically, the bridge is closed to traffic during the pouring of wet joint concrete, which negatively affects the existing transportation network. In this study, a newly developed microscopic traffic load modeling approach and the vehicle-bridge interaction theory are incorporated to develop a refined numerical framework for the analysis of random traffic-bridge coupled dynamics. This framework was used to investigate traffic-induced vibrations at the wet joint of a widened bridge. Based on an experimental study on the vibration resistance of wet joint concrete, traffic control strategies were proposed to ensure the construction performance of cast-in-site wet joint concrete under random traffic without interruption. The results show that the vibration displacement and frequency of the old bridge, estimated by the proposed framework, were comparable with those obtained from field measurements. Based on the target peak particle velocity and vibration amplitude of the wet joint concrete, it was found that traffic control measures, such as limiting vehicle gross weight and limiting traffic volume by closing an additional traffic lane, could ensure the construction performance of the wet joint concrete.

공격 탐지를 위한 트래픽 수집 및 분석 알고리즘 (Traffic Gathering and Analysis Algorithm for Attack Detection)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 SNMP를 이용한 트래픽 분석 방법의 문제점을 개선시킨 SNMP 기반의 트래픽 추이 분석 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 기존 방법에서는 임계치를 적용함으로써 분석 시간이 많이 걸리며, 초기 공격 트래픽에 대해 탐지하지 못하는 취약점을 가지고 있었다. 본 논문에서는 임계치를 사용하지 않고 일주 트래픽 추이 분석, 프로토콜별 추이 분석 그리고 특정 MIB에서의 트래픽 발생 유무를 분석함으로써 기존 방법에서의 문제점을 해결할 수 있었다. 트래픽이 발생하게 되면 이 세 가지 분석 방법을 통해 이상 여부를 분석하고, 이상 트래픽이 중첩적으로 발생될 경우 현재 입력된 트래픽을 유해 트래픽으로 분석해 낼 수 있다. 제안한 알고리즘을 통해서 유해 트래픽을 빠르고 정확하게 분석해 낼 수 있으며, 이를 통해 트래픽 폭주 공격에 의한 피해를 줄일 수 있을 것이다.

  • 부산시는 도로가 가지고 있는 구조적 한계로 인한 심한 교통체증이 유발되어 차량속도가 상대적으로 낮아, 이에 대한 개선이 요구된다. 한정된 도로 환경에서 교통 정체현상을 완화시키기 위하여 현재의 신호체계를 개선한 교통상황에 적응적인 신호 체계를 위한 연구가 필요하다. U-City에 있어서 'U-Traffic'은 도시 안에 중요한 인프라인 도로, 기반 시설, 차량 등 기존 교통의 구성요소에 유무선 통신 인프라를 기반으로 첨단 정보기술(IT)을 통합하여 사회적 교통 인프라의 효율성을 극대화 하는 교통정보 서비스 제공을 목표로 한다. 본 연구에서는 여러 가지 감지기를 통하여 차량을 감지 할 수 있는 감지 방법, 감지된 차량을 이용하여 계산 할 수 있는 신호체계의 알고리즘, 시스템을 전체적으로 구성할 통신망 등 시스템을 가상적인 시뮬레이터를 구현한다. 구현된 시뮬레이터의 결과를 확인 하여 교통 정체현상이 일부 완화 되는 효과를 확인 할 수 있다.
