  • Traditional Chinese medicine has treated diseases and improved health in nature-based experience. Advanced nations began to be interested in naturopathic therapy in the late 19th century and it led China to research aromatherapy. This study searched previous researches related with aromatherapy and generally analyzed aroma oil, applied body parts, methods of use, and period of use. For research contents, scientific and society journals from 2000 to 2019 related with aromatherapy were searched in CNKI(www.cnki.com) and WANFANG DATE(www.wanfang.com). Finally, 30 papers were selected through 5-step qualitative evaluation and expert review and analyzed. Frequency and percentage(%) were calculated by means of the Excel 2013 Program and represented by a chart. The results of analyzing aromatherapy trends are as follows. All 30 papers were researched in the medical society. The most common symptom was irritation and anxiety that appeared in 13 papers. Lavender oil and bergamot oil were commonly used aroma oil. Commonly applied part and method were nose and nasal inhalation. For aroma oil associated with symptoms, lavender oil was the best in irritative, anxious, and negative emotion, depression, labor pain, sleep disorder, migraine, tension, and vomiting, pain, and fatigue after operation. Lemon, ginger, and peppermint oil was good for nausea. Based on the findings, this study derived applied body parts, methods of use, and period of use in aromatherapy. However, most aromatherapy was used for patients in the nursing and medical fields in the simple form of inhalation and local massage. This study will suggest a standard ground that aromatherapy is good for pain, colic pain, and tension in a short period but needs a long period for the efficacy of psychological and neurological symptoms.

  • Tessellations are the pattern of iterations of geometric transformation. We can find them in the works of Escher, the famous Dutch artist. Also, We can find the beauty of tessellations in traditional Korean house doors, old Korean architecture, palace walls, and so forth. In this article, the figures of patterns we present are a pig, a frog, Tchiucheonwhang (the mascot of Korean football supporters), and figures by Escher, using the computer geometric program, GSP (Geometer's Sketchpad). We wanted to investigate the gender differences on students' achievement and disposition toward mathematics in constructing tessellations. The results indicated that if students were supported with well prepared instructional materials which helped students make their own figures, female students in particular would be more interested in learning geometric transformation.

  • Timber is an eco-friendly material that is suitable for low carbon and green growth, and recently, studies on utilization and manufacture of timber are increasing. Thus, we need a stable supply of wood working materials for the formative element and widespread function of timber. It is necessary to develop the use of timber because it enhances the added value of this material by making the most of it. In this way, skin-timber is an appropriate material for life articles because skin-timber has a variety of functions including the ability for storage use, the beauty of structure, the ability to maintain heat and insulation, and the capability to control humidity. In this study, I developed household items using skin-timbers that are made up of circular columns and square columns of pine, larch, and yellow popular. The circular and square columns have an inner hole that is approximately 90% of the external structure's width. I intended for the concept of these designs to display creativity considering functionality and productivity. These items are life articles and furniture for modern people. They are eco-friendly products that are varnished with traditional lacquer and natural oil. According to the result of this study, skin-timbers are made of domestic pine, larch, and yellow popular and are resource of furniture, household items, and woodcraft. I believe skin-timber is not only a useful material for processability and design applicability, but it also has the capability to be a multifunctional and high value-added material. Also, if the standards, such as cortex thickness, outside diameter, and length, of skin-timber are producted diversely, I believe skin-timber can be have more the possibility of industrial products' development.

  • Taking a look at art history around the world reveals the presence of ceramics in a wide range of areas. There have been many changes and developments over the years, but especially notable is the fact that in the course of history, the craft of ceramics has become an aesthetic art form rather than serving the original purpose of providing daily object of necessity. The Art Nouveau movement had peat influence in the development of ceramics before and after 19$^{th}$ century, and its inherent style continues to be copied and produced to modem day. The Art Nouveau style can today be seen particularly in contemporary tableware designs reflecting its graceful motifs that are now richly presenting themselves on table settings. This study looks at the possibilites of Art Nouveau in ceramics, namely by combining both traditional formativ qualities and contemporary visual inspirations to seek new expressions of beauty. In order to document records and analyze formative developments of Art Nouveau, representative pieces have been chronologically presented to cover the period from 1895 to the present.

The field of recreation is composed of various exhibition spaces. The field of meeting consists of traditional Korean-style gardens and an outdoor cafeteria. The field of contemplation features lawns, grasses and trees, and provides an area for pedestrian strolling. The outdoor spaces of the National Theater of Korea would produce an atmosphere suited to a cultural and artistic place. Since the early 1990s, practical use of jeans has appeared consistently in products for interior use, various kinds of fashion-ware and fashion properties, as well as in fashion that is a conversion and interpretation of an outstanding fashion trend. And the search, providing that various symbols of jeans are sensualism, deviation, ostentation, amusement and multi-culture, shows that jeans represent the multifarious aspects of fashion culture. For the purpose and necessity of this search to meet different consumers' desires by the practical use of jeans and the development of fashion-ware. First, investigate the trend of jeans in 2005. • This thesis aims to create a new technique by applying traditional ceramics technique. As a matter of fact, on the toremi plate of the sieve-frame skein technique, the weld on which various patterns are squeezed, is attached to the cylinder made of clay on the spinning wheel. And it is the concept that maximizes aesthetic beauty by expressing distorted pattern and free dismantling of existing pattern by pushing it out from inside by the turn of electric spinning wheel for the first time. The main point of view of this aesthetic source is that most of the surface of the ceramics is a spherical curved surface and looks distorted like an indicator drawn on a globe. The researcher created a dynamic and humorous technique of expression through the free dismantling of the squashed shapes and the distorted patterns and called it the bating sealing weld outer wall extension technique.

In 1970s, women were supposed to be 'a loving wife', a cultured female image with a faithful role of a 'wise mother' and a lady of refined manners as the best value. Third, a frivolous and decadent image. Double-faced image of a woman which included the women, who had to live as the lady of refined manners during the daytime and seductive woman during the night. Fourth, an image of a contemporary working woman. It was the image as a chic, confident and dignified working woman requested by the society of the times. Namely, it can be understood that women had a make-up of a soft and gorgeous tone as an expression of a will to keep a confident and female aspect in the course of working in the society by the women experiencing 1970s, the turbulent period.
