In this paper, we consider the handling f a flexible object using dual-arm manipulators. We choose both the side arms as rigid, and the objects to be manipulated as flexible. Our purpose is to realize position control for the flexible object while suppressing its vibration. In particular, the problem taken up here is the stability of the control system while manipulating the object. We propose that the traditional approach to investigate the robot system be expanded to include the object's characteristics (thus transferring the stability of the robot system into the full assembly system). We define a handling characteristic while manipulating the object. Finally, the relationship between the handling characteristic and the positional constraint condition in the hold position of the arms is studied while considering the stability of the control system.

– In the paper, to handle the problem of traditional bag-of-features model ignoring the spatial relationship of local features in human action recognition, we proposed a Multiscale Spatial Position Coding under Locality Constraint method. Specifically, to describe this spatial relationship, we proposed a mixed feature combining motion feature and multi-spatial-scale configuration. To utilize temporal information between features, sub spatial-temporal-volumes are built. Next, the pooled features of sub-STVs are obtained via max-pooling method. In classification stage, the Locality-Constrained Group Sparse Representation is adopted to utilize the intrinsic group information of the sub-STV features. The experimental results on the KTH, Weizmann, and UCF sports datasets show that our action recognition system outperforms the classical local ST feature-based recognition systems published recently.

The purpose of this study was construction of bell-bottom blue jeans according to change of flare line and investigate the effects clothing pressure according to various movements of the legs. In this study, movements of leg were classified by M1, M2, M3, M4.(M1:erecting, M2: leapfrogging position, M3:sit-on-one' keens position, M4:Traditional nobel-sitting position) The results were as follows: As usings the leg surface shell by the adhesive paper taping method, basic slacks pattern and blue jeans patterns according to change of flare line was constructed. The order of clothing pressure of the different patterns is C(the flare line is on the calf of the leg)>B(the flare line is on the knee)>A(the flare line is on the thigh). Clothing pressure in the knee point was highest and when the flare line was on the calf of the leg, clothing pressure showed high.

China and Korea have a long history of star charts, dating from the prehistoric period. Historically, Korean astronomy has been deeply influenced by China over the last two thousand years, particularly on constellation system. Therefore, Chinese and Korean traditional star charts have many similarities in terms of shape of constellation, number of star, and so forth. Korean star charts, however, have lots of unique characteristics distinguishing from Chinese ones, such as, size of star and position of constellation. Overall knowledge of the Chinese star chart is required to study the Korean star chart. In this paper, I focus on introducing selected star charts in China and Korea. Although this review is very limited, I hope that this paper is helpful in research in the field of historical astronomy.

Assuming that while the Confucian idea-based awareness of boundary appeared to have a distinct effect on traditional residential spaces the awareness of an individualized nuclear family-oriented boundary deviated from authoritarianism has been recently shown in the modern residential spaces, this study was conducted to clarify what the modern people's awareness of boundary influences individual residential spaces and how the boundary is structured. This study was carried out by examining prior studies on the concepts of boundary and analysing the planes of residential apartments as a typical modern residential space, based on the comparison of traditional and modern residential spaces. It was shown, then, that the awareness of boundary in the modern residential space appeared to be structured in the residential apartment space according to the change in the social position and role of family members, unlike the spatial division of the traditional residential spaces based on the social class and sex.

The article considers the position of scientists on the concept of "pedagogical technology", identifies the signs of pedagogical technology and existing classifications, considers non-traditional (innovative) learning technologies, as well as their practical forms of application in the educational process, summarizes the results, makes recommendations for the practical application of the studied material. The article considered the basic concepts of pedagogical technology, as well as some types of non-traditional (innovative) teaching technologies. Also, examples of the use of some elements of innovative technologies in practical educational activities are given. The choice of specific non-traditional pedagogical technologies is determined by the target orientation, content specificity, individualization of training, technical equipment of the educational institution, etc.

During the traditional periods when there were exchanges among Korea, China and Japan based on ocean currents or seasonal winds, the southwestern coastal areas including Yeosu held an important position since the route would not have been complete without them. Armed with its advantages including the marine environment, the Yeosu area in the southwestern coast on the Korean Peninsula engage in active maritime exchanges and activities as a base along the sea route since the Neolithic or Bronze Age. It was the same later when Baekje and Gaya had exchanges with China and Japan, when Unified Silla had exchanges with China, and when Goryeo had exchanges with China and Japan. In Joseon, the Yeosu area gained fame as a marine defense base. In short, the Yeosu area in the southwestern coast on the Korean Peninsula during the traditional periods not only engage in active maritime exchanges and activities, but also serve as an important base that could not be left out in the maritime history of East Asia.

Objective : This study is designed to find out the effects of Cervus elaphus Herbal acupuncture on osteoarthritis in knee joint. Methods : We investigated 15 cases of patients with osteoarthritis in knee joint that arevisited in hospital of Dong-Shin Korean Traditional Medicine. We evaluated knee joint function that before and after its treatment by Lyshoim score and satisfaction of treatment by Baumgaertner nine point sacle and VAS score. Results : The sex distinction with a disease caused much more female than male at the ratio of 1 to 2.75 in the proportion of male to female. Jobs is mainly ranked with a sitting position jobs and a housewife. Approximately 73.3% of cases before our hospital have ever treated at the other clinics or hospitals. According to Lyshoim score, before treatment is 54.87 and after is 63.29, that showd stisfacally meaningful increase. According to VAS score, before treatment is 10 and after is 44.6. In evaluating of satisfaction, good are 73.2% according to Baumgaertner nine point sacle. Conclusion : According to the results, Cervus elaphus Herbal acupuncture may be effects on the increase of knee joints function and the decrease of pain on osteoarthritis in knee joint.

There's an opinion that it may be a combination of change of values and social economic factors that caused low fertility of Korean society. This study intends to analyze actual conditions of family children values and gender role centered on university students in a marriageable age so draw a policy implication for overcoming low fertility. Main findings of this study are like following. First, as for analysis of childbirth intention shows average score of $3.35{\pm}1.142$ presented sex distinction that men have a higher tendency to women. Second, in gender role attitudes, it shows that gender role related on women's social activities($2.06{\pm}0.739$), traditional gender role in family($2.41{\pm}0.789$) influence on childbirth intention (p<0.001). Third, in family children values indicates moderate scores($2.95{\pm}0.648$) that son's position in family ($2.33{\pm}0.911$), relation between children and parents($2.80{\pm}1.050$), individual's position in family($3.56{\pm}0.671$) influence on childbirth intention(p<0.000) in the traditional values. Measures against low fertility will prove effective when family values are established favorable to marriage, childbirth, rearing, gender equality is settled in a society as a whole and related systems.

During the period of 1950s and 1960s extreme changes in political, economic, social and cultural environments had a great influence on family ethics, since the western civilization had been introduced to this nation in late 19th century. This paper studied the family ethics during the above periods by interviewing elders(average age 77) who had couple relations at that time focusing the followings. During the period, ① what is the view of family? ② what are the actual sapects and characteristics of married couple ethics? ③ what are the actual aspects and characteristics of the ethics between parents and their children? The results of this study are as follows; ① The indispensable requisite of the parents is a son who functions as the tool for enhancing social position of their family rather than succession of them. The nuclear family is regraded ideal, but the concept of nuclear family of them is far different from that of western. ② The married couples accepts the given couple relations in the name of bringing up their children. The ideal image of wife is traditional wifely virtues and that of husband is ability of making money. ③ The parents emphasize education and success of their children for enhancing the social position of their family, while they still require some degree of moral standards to their children. The parents believe that the best filial piety is making good lives of their children's own, which is somewhat different from the traditional filial piety norm.
