EPCglobal 네트워크 기반 인터넷 에스크로 서비스 (EPCglobal Network-Based Internet Escrow Service for Secure e-Commerce)

  • 근래에 전자상거래 규모가 매년 증가함에 따라 전자상거래 과정에서 발생하고 있는 피해 역시 빠르게 증가하고 있으며 피해에 대한 구제도 충분히 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 이터넷 에스크로 서비스는 저자상거래의 안전성을 보장하기 위한 유망한 결제 메커니즘 가운데 하나이다. 특히, RFID 기반의 유통/물류 분야에 있어서 인터넷 에스크로 서비스가 상품인도 정보와 실시간으로 연계될 경우, 그 안정성과 효율성은 크게 향상될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 RFID 기반 유통/물류 환경 하에서 안전한 전자상거래를 보장하기 위해 EPCglobal 네트워크를 이용한 인터넷 에스크로 서비스 연계 방안을 제시하였다. 제안된 서비스 모델은 구매자와 판매자의 계약 체결과 에스크로 서비스 연계를 위한 금융플랫폼의 형태로 구현되었으며, 금융플랫폼은 EPCglobal 네트워크 및 은행 시스템과 완벽하게 연계되도록 구현되었다. 개발된 EPCglobal 네트워크 기반 에스크로 서비스 시스템은 EPCglobal 네트워크의 실시간 상품정보를 이용함으로써 자금순환기간 단축 및 여신상품 개발을 가능하게 하였으며, 기존 에스크로 서비스의 상품정보부족, 구매결정지연 등의 단점을 극복할 수 있었다.

환태평양경제동반자협정이 동아시아 무역네트워크에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effect of Trans-Pacific Partnership through East Asia Trade Network)

  • 동아시아 지역은 FTA 확대로 인해 국경을 초월한 경제일체화가 진척되고 있고, 각국의 규제제도 개혁으로 기업활동의 자유는 높아지고 있으며, 국경을 초월한 공정간 분업이 진전되고 있는 등 무역네트워크의 고도화가 촉진되고 있다. 미국이 주도하는 다자간 FTA인 환태평양경제동반자협정(TPP)은 2016년 2월 4일 뉴질랜드 오클랜드에서 12개국이 협정문에 서명하였는데, 동아시아 무역네트워크의 변화가 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 TPP가 동아시아 무역네트워크에 미칠 영향에 관해 살펴보았다. 연구결과 TPP는 공급사슬의 글로벌화를 이끄는 규제 및 제도로써 공급사슬 구조를 변화시키고, 가치사슬에 긍정적인 효과를 야기한다. 이는 동아시아 무역네트워크에 상당한 영향을 미칠 것이며 참여기업의 경쟁력 강화로 이어질 것이다. 또한 TPP는 향후 아태자유무역지대(FTAAP)의 실현을 위한 토대가 될 것으로 보이는데, 무역의존도가 높은 한국은 이로 인해 변화할 동아시아 무역환경에 효과적으로 대처하기 위한 정책적 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.

  • Farmers E-Market is a website that allows agricultural workers to direct market their products to buyers without the use of a middleman. That theory is blockchain system will be used by authors to accomplish this. The system, which is built on a public blockchain system, supports sustainability, shippers, and consumers. Farmers can keep track of their farming activities. Customers can review the product's history and track its journey through carriers to delivery after making a purchase. Farmers are encouraged to get information about their interests promptly in a blockchain-enabled system like this. This functionality is being used by small-scale farmers to form groups based on their location to attract large-scale customers, renegotiate farming techniques or volumes, and enter into contracts with buyers. The analysis shows the use of blockchain technology with a farmer's portal that keeps the video of trading data of crops, taking into account the qualities of blockchain such as values and create or transaction data. The proposal merges python as a programming language with a blockchain system to benefit farmers, vendors, and individuals by preserving transactions.

BandBlock: Bandwidth allocation in blockchain-empowered UAV-based heterogeneous networks

  • The 5G mobile network is promising to handle the dynamic traffic demands of user equipment (UE). Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with wireless transceivers can act as flying base stations in heterogeneous networks to ensure the quality of service of UE. However, it is challenging to efficiently allocate limited bandwidth to UE due to dynamic traffic demands and low network coverage. In this study, a blockchain-enabled bandwidth allocation framework is proposed for secure bandwidth trading. Furthermore, the proposed framework is based on the Cournot oligopoly game theoretical model to provide the optimal solution; that is, bandwidth is allocated to different UE based on the available bandwidth at UAV-assisted-based stations (UBSs) with optimal profit. The Cournot oligopoly game is performed between UBSs and cellular base stations (CBSs). Utility functions for both UBSs and CBSs are introduced on the basis of the available bandwidth, total demand of CSBs, and cost of providing cellular services. The proposed framework prevents security attacks and maximizes the utility functions of UBSs and CBSs.

  • E-Commerce is a buzzword well known for electronic commerce activities including but not limited to the online shopping, digital payment transactions, and B2B online trading. In today's digital age, e-commerce has been playing a very important and vital role in areas such as retail shopping, sales automation, supply chain management, marketing and advertisement, and payment services. With a huge amount of data been collected from various e-commerce services available, there are multiple opportunities to use that data to analyze graphs and trends. Strategize profitable activities, and forecast future trade. This paper explains a contemporary approach for collecting key data metrics and implementing cost-effective automation that will support in improving conversion rates and sales performance of the e-commerce websites resulting in increased profitability.

  • International network strategy is intended to examine the validity of existing network-centered theories in order to ascertain why small-and medium-sized enterprises are useful as a strategic correspondence to the internationalization trend. Small-and medium-sized enterprises can be estimated as being vital majorities in terms of their flexibility to meet changable conditions in international marketing compared with the conglomerates Therefore, their dependency on a few conglomerates for the international economy can be diverged. Generally, the successful internationalization of industries can be derived from the creation of suitable strategies for its competence and quality with the effective correction and completion of its strategy and tactics through mistakes. The internationalization strategy of small-and medium-sized enterprises should not be the reckless pursuit of internationalization that depends only on the increase of investment or the simple induction of the other conglomerates strategic models, but it should be accomplished through the evolution and practice of the concrete strategies that will be more proper for the enterprise's property and efficiency. The results of analyses with proof can be summarized with two effects in large in the process of internationalization of domestic small-and medium-sized enterprises. First, the capacity for internationalization of firms results from a long-term training procedure and continuous development of managing activities. Then in time this becomes an important element for the small-and medium-sized firms in terms with its position targeted international trading. However, the domestic enterprises are showing their abilities in the international competition in quantity, and trying to establish relationships between the enterprises through international networks. Second, statistics might not be meaningful in part because of the lack of data for analysis. It seems that more useful results will be derived from obtaining and utilizing sufficient information and from establishing an inter-relationship between the small-and medium-sized enterprises which are investing in foreign companies.

A Feature Selection Technique based on Distributional Differences

  • This paper presents a feature selection technique based on distributional differences for efficient machine learning. Initial training data consists of data including many features and a target value. We classified them into positive and negative data based on the target value. We then divided the range of the feature values into 10 intervals and calculated the distribution of the intervals in each positive and negative data. Then, we selected the features and the intervals of the features for which the distributional differences are over a certain threshold. Using the selected intervals and features, we could obtain the reduced training data. In the experiments, we will show that the reduced training data can reduce the training time of the neural network by about 40%, and we can obtain more profit on simulated stock trading using the trained functions as well.

글로벌 전자무역에서 SWIFT의 TSU BPO의 도입과 과제 (A Study on the Introduction and Implications of the Bank Payment Obligation under SWIFT's Trade Services Utility)

  • SWIFT has designed Trade Services Utility(TSU) to meet the new paradigm of electronic trade. The Trade Services Utility is a matching and workflow application that sits on the SWIFT network. The TSU is designed to help banks offer advanced supply chain services to their corporate customers who are involved in open account trading. Nowadays, the Bank payment obligation(BPO) can optionally be included in a baseline by mutual consent. The BPO is an irrevocable and conditional obligation of an obligor bank(buyers bank) to pay a specified amount to seller's bank according to an established baseline of a single TSU transaction. Therefore, SWIFT enables its customers to automate and standardise financial transactions, thereby lowering costs, reducing operational risk and eliminating inefficiencies from their operations. Whereas, Banks can use the core functionality of the Trade Services Utility to offer competitive services that complement existing services. But SWIFT need to come up with the measures of activating the TSU BPO. So, this paper is to introduce TSU BPO and check the measures for the activation of the TSU BPO under the electronic trade environment.

판매자간 경쟁과 구매자간 경쟁을 고려한 온라인 마켓플레이스의 수수료 구조 분석 (Analyzing Fee Structure of Online Marketplaces Based on Competition among Sellers and Competition among Buyers)

  • An online marketplace, such as eBay, is an example of two-sided markets. In online marketplaces, there are transactions between sellers and buyers and direct competition effects among sellers and among buyers. Previous research on two-sided market has not handle these competition effects and mostly focused on indirect network externalities between sellers and buyers. We analyze the fee structure of an online marketplace considering direct competition effects among sellers and among buyers. We find that when fees for sellers and buyers can be imposed, an auction or fixed-pricing rule can be chosen according to the characteristics of a product traded. But when only fees for sellers can be imposed, an auction can be taken as a trading mechanism solely.

A Study of Anime's Success Factors in USA and Its Suggestions

  • Anime is very popular in Japan, it has also gained a following in America and is beginning to hit the mainstream. Anime is gaining popularity in the United States as it is shown more on television, most noticeably on the Sci-Fi Channel with shows such as Saturday Anime and during Anime Week and on Cartoon Network with shows such as Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z being shown every weekday during the Toonami block. In this paper, I present the key factors behind the success of anime in USA. To find out the factors, I research literature and simple survey. The differences of anime from us animation make anime popular. Anime-related goods such as video games, trading cards, and characters' jewelry aid the anime growing popularity. A booming trend in admiration for Japan is one of the key factors behind anime's success. In spite of disputing about Japanese animation, anime is starting to have some influence on US animation and also young American. Anime's success factors in USA could suggest that Korean Manhwa and Korean animation have to prepare strategies for rising popularity in oversea.
