유럽 주요국의 중견기업 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Hidden Champion Enterprises of Major EU Countries)

  • 창조경제시대에 무역 2조 달러 달성을 위해서는 기존 대기업 중심의 산업구조를 좀 더 중견기업 중심체제로 발전시켜 글로벌 산업경쟁력을 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 더욱이 문제시 되어온 한국의 대기업 의존도가 높은 경제구조의 한계를 해소하고 주력산업의 경쟁구도 변화에 따른 대기업 쇠퇴가 국가경제에 미치는 영향을 최소화하기 위해서도 중견기업의 성장과 글로벌 경쟁력 확보는 시대적 과제로 인식되고 있다. 따라서 유럽 주요국의 히든 챔피언의 현황과 육성방안의 사례를 연구함으로써 우리나라의 중견기업의 성장을 위한 제언을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이 연구를 통해 기업 간 양극화 해소와 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력 확보를 위한 주체로서의 중견기업의 역할과 그 혁신역량을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • Emphasis on relationship management might be found out from Williamson (1975), who tried to elucidate why an organization exists. According to his transaction cost theory, an organization is established to evade opportunistic actions of the market and build up a hierarchy of value chain. However, judged from the perspective of exchange relationship in a trade, the transaction cost theory was likely to approach to buyer-seller relationship by the mechanism of competition. Therefore, an organization exists to control the competition of the market. Relationship management suggested by relationship marketing focuses on cooperation between buyers and sellers, rather than competition against each other. Relationship management aims to provide a framework for making a market relationship that might become an asset or a resource of the firm. In the process of maintaining and strengthening long-term and cooperative relationship with all stakeholders included customers, suppliers and staff, they continue to create new values. The purpose of this empirical research, by investigating how relationship management of multinational enterprises influences on their competitive advantages and performances, is to suggest that a cooperative relationship established for a long time in the market, so-called quasi-market relationship, substitutes for an organization.

Globalization Impact on Small and Medium Enterprise: Tanzania Case

  • We are looking the impact associated with globalization in favor of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) growth and how helped to reduce the obstacle facing SMEs growth. We used empirical analysis in order to examine the relationship underlying the globalization and its impact to SME growth. We employed primarily data from Tanzania SMEs. Further we seeks to explain the negative notion that has been created that globalization is not friendly to SME growths. We employed primary data from Tanzania SMEs. The partial least squares (PLS) was used for analysis. The conclusion has indicated that globalization has a relationship with SMEs growth and has contributed to the reduction of obstacles that inhibit SMEs growth. However study confirmed controversial result on part of availability of managers and manpower with global perspectives to influence SMEs growth. The test accepted that globalization has influenced availability of managers with global perspectives but reject the availability of these managers influences the SMEs growth The results give a clear outlook to help policy maker in policy review process, formulate base for extensive study on issues for manager perspectives and draw intervention.

Antecedents and Consequences of Brand Hate Among Netizens: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

  • In the era of tough competition, the customer's emotional attachment to brand plays a vital role to the successes and failures of enterprises. Specifically in the case of doing business online, brands have to cope with the troubles of rising from brand hate as brand avoidance, negative word of mouth and brand retaliation. Traditionally, the brand communication is very hard to control and with online communities, the problems tend to be even more severe. This paper aims to explore and discuss the core concept, the driven factors and the actionable consequences of brand hate among netizens. A total of 358 valid responses were obtained from surveys taken from the internet users across the nation. Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was conducted using Smart PLS to assess the hypotheses. The result shows that the expression of brand hate among netizen consists of active hate and passive hate. Deficit value, deceptive advertising, negative past experience and ideology incompatibility have been confirmed as influencing factors on customers' brand hate emotion. Then brand hate itself causes the customer's actionable outcomes such as brand avoidance, brand negative word of mouth and brand retaliation. Along with the theoretical contributions and managerial implications have been recommended for enterprises to avoid netizens' brand hate.

중국지역균형발전전략에 미치는 글로벌 FDI 특성에 관한 연구 :중국주요도시별 한국FDI 특성을 중심으로 (A Study on the Characteristics of Global FDI on China's Balanced Development Strategy : Focusing on Korean FDI Characteristics by Major Cities in China)

  • 세계경제의 G1을 추구하는 중국은 이를 위한 경제적 성장유지를 위해 중국에서 시작하여 중앙아시아를 관통하여 유럽에 이르는 옛 실크로드를 개척하는 경제벨트를 추진 중이다. 본 연구는 이러한 중국의 경제확장정책에 효율적으로 동참하기 위한 방안으로 글로벌 대중국투자와 한국의 대중국 투자에 영향을 미치는 거시적 결정변수들의 영향력 정도를 비교분석한 연구이다. 이를 위해 한국의 대중국 FDI 결정변수와 글로벌 대중국 직접투자 결정변수를 벡터오차수정모형(VECM)을 통해 각각의 결정변수가 투자결정에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 분석을 위한 자료로 중국지역균형발전 의 상징지역이라 할 수 있는 베이징, 상하이, 충칭, 시안 및 썬양 등 5개의 주요도시를 횡단면으로 하고 2003~2013년간 이들 도시에 대한 한국의 대중국투자, 글로벌 대중국투자, GDP, 실업률, 임금 추이를 시계열로 하는 패널을 구성하였다. 본 연구가 기존의 연구와 차별되는 점은 첫째, 기존의 대 중국 외국인투자와 관련 연구가 대부분 외국기업의 초기 대중국 투자지역인 연해지역도시에 집중된 것과는 달리 본 연구는 해안, 내륙, 동북의 주요도시들을 동시에 비교 분석하였다. 둘째, 이들 지역전체에 대해 공통적으로 외국인투자에 영향을 미치는 투자결정변수요인간의 인과관계뿐만 아니라 각 도시 별로 외국인투자결정요인 변수간의 비중과 인과관계를 비교하였다. 셋째, 최근 중국의 서부내륙개발과 연계되어 동북3성개발등의 균형정책에 발맞추어 우리의 대중국투자의 가이드라인을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 패널데이타가 가지는 지역적, 시간적 특이성분석을 통해 외국인투자의 결정요인을 분석하는 방법론과 투자의 효율성을 위해 모형의 추정력을 높일 수 있는 누락된 변수의 의미가 무엇인지에 대한 인식과 이에 대한 연구의 필요성을 제시한 의미가 있다고 하겠다.

AHP법을 이용한 한중간 물류네트워크 구축에 따른 우선과제 평가에 관한 연구 (On the Consideration of Logistics Network Establishment and Priority Evaluation between Korea and China Using AHP method)

  • It is an urgent problem that Korea logistics enteprises' expansion of advance into China market and the logistics network establishment between Korea and China to back up the former are to be solved. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to deduce the subjects to establish the logistics network between Korea and China, and to evaluate the priority order. The results of this research are as follows: First, we conducted face-to-face interviews on the advisery group in China and Korean enterprises which advanced into China, and drew out 6 promoting subjects to build the logistics network between the two. Second, the AHP model was adopted, which is a multi-criteria?multi-hierarchical decision making method, to draw out the weight and priority order of the deduced 6 promoting items. Third, the resultant priority order of the promoting subjects is as follows: No.1 - to establish the distribution & logistics support center by region(0.3900); No.2 - to support various taxes in investing the logistics business abroad(0.1980) ; No.3 - to improve the management of CIQ(0.1958); No.4 - to back up the joint-venture of logistics firms(0.1169); No.5 - to enhance trade and foreign policies to deregulate the entry into logistics markets(0.0536); No.6 - to construct the logistics information system of China(Northest Ssia)(0.0458). This paper resulted in finding out Korea logistics enterprises that have not secured their own inland-transport network in China and the actual difficulties of Korean enterprises with using the inferior network that advanced into China. These problems were developed into the analysis adopting the AHP method, and the significancy of this paper is to present the priority order of promoting problems using a sophisticated technique.

KS인증시스템 표준화가 중소기업 수출성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of KS Certification System on Export Performance of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises)

  • 본 연구는 KS인증업체를 중심으로 KS인증시스템이 중소기업 수출성과에 미치는 영향 요인을 분석하여 국제환경에 중소기업의 수출경쟁력을 강화하는데 시사점을 제시하고자 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 환경특성요인과 기업특성요인에 대한 선행연구를 통해 이 요인들이 KS인증시스템 표준화 요인에 영향을 미치는 것을 규명하고 KS인증시스템 표준화 요인이 수출성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 타당성분석, 신뢰성분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 기업특성요인의 경영자마인드, 종업원표준인식, KS인증교육이 KS인증시스템 표준화 요인에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 KS인증시스템 표준화 요인이 수출성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 실증분석한 결과에 따라 중소기업에 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 수출성과를 강화하기 위해서는 중소기업 최고경영자는 KS인증시스템에 대한 사내표준화 마인드를 고양시키는 지원이 요구된다. 둘째, 중소기업 종업원에 대한 표준화 인식이 높아질 수 있는 KS 인증 교육이 필요하다. 셋째, 제품품질 향상을 위해 ISO 인증, FTA관련 업무 사내 표준화 시스템 활용이 필요하다.

A Modern Analysis of 'Guanxi' of Foreign Investment in China

  • China is a land of guanxi, everything is connected with guanxi. China has a business culture based on guanxi connections underpinned by strong Confucian ethics. However, there are some reasons why it is difficult for western companies to run businesses in China. Firstly, foreign firms lack the understanding and experiences necessary for doing business in China. They don't know the absence of alternatives is one of reasons that guanxi is so powerful in Chinese society. Secondly, there are many misconceptions about guanxi. It is easier for many foreign scholars or businessmen to equate guanxi with corruption due to the ambiguity of guanxi. Thus, if a foreign enterprise possesses guanxi, it can be a source of competitive advantage for doing business due to lack of law systems for anti-corruption activities in China. Furthermore, it is gaining increasing importance not only in Business to Government(B2G) but also in Business to Consumers(B2C) relationships. Therefore,managers should pay great attention to the proper use of guanxi instead of being involved in corrupt behaviours because now the governments hold a strong attitude against corruption. In particular, establishment of working guanxi through red envelops(basically giving money) or illegal gifts can cause a great problem for both parties, which were naturally accepted among most government officials and businessmen until recently.

  • BCM(BCP) 관련 재난관리 국제표준(ISO22301)이 5월 제정되어 금년 말에 국가표준(KS A ISO22301)으로 제정될 예정이다. 따라서 해외 각국 및 국내에 진출한 국외 인증기업들의 인증사업이 활성화 되고 기업간 통상 시 표준준수 요구 등의 무역장벽이 예상되어 이에 대한 우리 기업들의 대응 방안을 모색 하고자 한다. 또한 경감법에서의 우수기업인증제도의 활성화 방안을 도출하고자 한다.

국제기술이전계약에서의 산업보안에 관한 연구 (The Industrial Security along with the International Transfer of Technology)

  • The industrial technology (including trade secrets), which is commonly understood as systematic and applied technical knowledge, can be transferred to third parties by contracting for the transfer of technology or by granting of a licence. The activity of industrial espionage, due to the gradual increase of the economic interests of intellectual property, is displaying intensively in order to gain advanced technology information. With our outstanding high technology, but compared to the level of the advanced countries, the technical protection systems, the legal protection measures and the systematic management thereof may still be insufficient. Our industrial technology outflow abroad, due to the vulnerability to the security control system in our country, has been increasing since the 2000. Computer software and SNS, such as smart devices, appear as a rapid change in the technical information environment. In order to minimize the dead zone of a new industrial security, the country's organic activity is being conducted. In 2006, Industrial Technology Outflow Prevention and Protection Law was enacted, which emphasized the responsibilities of the country. In this paper for the economic entity's efforts to prevent technology leakage oversea, I have looked to how the industrial technology can be protected in terms of national security and economic benefits of our enterprises. To solve the above-mentioned problems hereof, Korean government should willingly establish a reliable legal system for supporting to enterprise's operations, and Korean companies should autonomously introduce a synthetic technology protection system and incorporate the confidentiality clauses in an international transfer of technology agreement with third parties.
