Acquisition of Grass Harvesting Characteristics Information and Improvement of the Accuracy of Topographical Surveys for the GIS by Sensor Fusion (I) - Analysis of Grass Harvesting Characteristics by Sensor Fusion -

  • Purpose: This study aimed to install an RTK-GPS (Real Time Kinematic-Global Positioning System) and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) on a tractor used in a farm to measure positions, pasture topography, posture angles, and vibration accelerations, translate the information into maps using the GIS, analyze the characteristics of grass harvesting work, and establish new technologies and construction standards for pasture infrastructure improvement based on the analyzed data. Method: Tractor's roll, pitch, and yaw angles and vibration accelerations along the three axes during grass harvesting were measured and a GIS map prepared from the data. A VRS/RTK-GPS (MS750, Trimble, USA) tractor position measuring system and an IMU (JCS-7401A, JAE, JAPAN) tractor vibration acceleration measuring systems were mounted on top of a tractor and below the operator's seat to obtain acceleration in the direction of progression, transverse acceleration, and vertical acceleration at 10Hz. In addition, information on regions with bad workability was obtained from an operator performing grass harvesting and compared with information on changes in tractor posture angles and vibration acceleration. Results: Roll and pitch angles based on the y-axis, the direction of forward movements of tractor coordinate systems, changed by at least $9-13^{\circ}$ and $8-11^{\circ}$ respectively, leading to changes in working postures in the central and northern parts of the pasture that were designated as regions with bad workability during grass harvesting. These changes were larger than those in other regions. The synthesized vectors of the vibration accelerations along the y-axis, the x-axis (transverse direction), and the z-axis (vertical direction) were higher in the central and northwestern parts of the pasture at 3.0-4.5 m/s2 compared with other regions. Conclusions: The GIS map developed using information on posture angles and vibration accelerations by position in the pasture is considered sufficiently utilizable as data for selection of construction locations for pasture infrastructure improvement.

논토양(土壤)의 물리성(物理性)이 농기계(農機械) 작업능률(作業能率)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Soil Pysical Properties on Workability of Agricultural Machineries in Paddy Field)

  • 토양(土壤) 물리성(物理性)이 농기계(農機械) 작업능률(作業能率)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 토성(土性)과 수분조건(水分條件)이 각각 상이(相異)한 논토양(土壤)에서 제반(諸般) 토양물리성(土壤物理性)을 조사(調査)하고 경운기(耕耘機)와 트랙타를 이용(利用)한 작업능률(作業能率)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 토양(土壤)의 경도(硬度), 전단저항(剪斷抵抗), 마찰저항(摩擦低沆), 판(板) 및 차륜침하량(車輪沈下量), 진행저하율(進行低下率) 및 족적심등(足蹟深等)은 토성(土性)과 수분함량(水分含量)에 따라 변화(變化)되었으며 이에 따라 작업능률(作業能率)도 큰 차이(差異)가 있었다. 2. 동력경운기(動力耕耘機)의 작업능률(作業能率)은 전단저항(剪斷抵抗)이 $200{\sim}450g/cm^2$ 범위(範圍)에서 가장 양호(良好)하며 $200g/cm^2$ 이하(以下)에서는 경운기(耕耘機)와 트랙타 작업(作業)이 불량(不良)하였다. 3. 작업능률(作業能率)이 높은 경도범위(硬度範圍)는 트랙타가 $8{\sim}12kg/cm^2$ 이었고 경운기(耕耘機)는 $6{\sim}10kg/cm^2$이었다. 4. 족적심(足跡深)은 기존(旣存) 기기(器機)의 측정치(測定値)와 상관(相關)이 높았고 적정(適正) 족적심(足跡深)은 1~2cm, 작업(作業) 불가능(不可能) 범위(範圍)는 경운기(耕耘機) 2cm이상(以上), 트랙타 5cm이상(以上)이었다.

원추지수를 이용한 경운 정지 작업의 작업성 예측 (Prediction of tillage Workability by Cone Index)

  • This study was conducted to recognize a possibility that cone index can be used as a means of evaluating the tillage workability. Cone indexes were measured every 24 hours after rainfall at the experimental plots, and the rotary and plowing operations were conducted at the same time. The workability was evaluated on a basis of three categories of good, fair and poor depending on the quality of the performed works. Although the workability was affected by many factors such as soil type, moisture content ground slope and weather condition, the duration and amount of rainfall were of most influence. Results of the study showed that a good workability was resulted from the cone indexes greater than an average of 552 kPa for rotary operations and 671 kPa for plowing operations. Fair work was obtained with cone indexes greater than an average of 331 kPa for rotary operations and 459 kPa for plowing operations. The cone indexes less than an average of 171 kPa and 149 kPa resulted in poor workabilities for rotary and plowing operations, respectively. The experimental results may provide a general guideline for evaluating the tillage workability by cone index.

벼 건답직파시(乾畓直播時) 배수방법(排水方法)이 기계화조건(機械化條件)과 수도생육(水稻生育)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effect of Drainage Methods on Machine Workability and Rice Growth for Dry Seeding in Paddy Soil)

  • 벼 건답직파(乾畓直播) 재배시(栽培時) 강우후(降雨後) 배수일수별(排水日數別) 토양수분함량(土壞水分含量)에 따른 적기파종(適期播種)과 입모율(立毛率) 향상(向上)으로 직파재배(直播栽培)의 유용성(有用性)을 증대(增大)시키고자 보통답(普通畓)(전북통(全北統))에서 시험(試驗)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다 1. 강우후(降雨後) 배수일수별(排水日數別) 트랙터로타리 작업가능일수(作業可能日數)는 관행(慣行)에서 5일이상(日以上)이었으나 천공처리(穿孔處理)로 작업가능일수(作業可能日數)는 2~4일(日), 작업용역(作業容易) 범위(範圍)는 5~6일(日), 그리고 6일이상(日以上)은 작토(作土)의 물리성(物理性) 불량(不良)으로 비성력(非省力) 농작업(農作業) 일수(日數)였음. 2. 배수일수(排水日數)에 따른 토괴분포(土塊分布)는 관행(慣行)에서 배수후(排水後) 3일(日)째에 직경(直徑) 1cm 이하(以下)의 토괴분포(土塊分布)가 1%인 반면 천공처리구(穿孔處理區)에서는 15%였으며, 입모율향상(立毛率向上)을 위(爲)한 토양수분함량(土壤水分含量)은 관행(慣行)과 천공처리구(穿孔處理區)에서 31~32% 범위(範圍)였음. 3. 벼 성숙기(成熟期)의 콤바인 수확작업(收穫作業) 가능일수(可能日數)는 관행(慣行)은 9일(日)째, 천공처리구(穿孔處理區) 경우는 5일(日)째부터였음. 4. 천공처리시(穿孔處理時) 관행(慣行)보다 심토(心土)에서 경도(硬度) 및 용적밀도(容積密度)의 저하(低下), 기상(氣相) 및 투수성(透水性)이 증가(增加)하였고 작토(作土)의 유기물(有機物), 고토(苦土), 가리함량(加里含量)이 감소(減少)하였음. 5. 반당(反當) 백미수량(白米收量)은 관행(慣行)에서 배수후(排水後) 6일(日) 파종구(播種區)에서 415kg, 천공처리시(穿孔處理時)에는 배수후(排水後) 4일(日) 파종구(播種區)에서 440kg로 가장 양호(良好)하였음.
