궤도형 상륙돌격차량용 추진장치의 통합고장진단 S/W 설계 (Software Design about Integrated Fault Diagnosis for the Propulsion System of the Tracked Amphibious Assault Vehicle)

  • This paper describes the design of model-based fault diagnosis software to apply to the propulsion system in tracked amphibious assault vehicle which consists of an engine, a transmission, a cooling system, and two waterjets. This software includes specific functions to detect the failures regarding sensor malfunctions, mechanical malfunctions, control errors, and communication errors. This software generates the proper malfunction codes which are classified as the warning and caution. In order to validate the fault diagnosis software, the manual and automatic test are performed using the test program with 32 test cases. Test results show that the designed fault diagnosis software is reliable and effective for applying to the propulsion system.

특징점 추적을 이용한 끼어들기 위반차량 검지 시스템 (Lane Violation Detection System Using Feature Tracking)

  • 본 논문에서는 특징점 추적을 이용하여 끼어들기 위반차량을 검지할 수 있는 끼어들기 위반차량 검지 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 끼어들기 위반차량 검지 시스템의 전체적인 알고리즘은 특징 추출, 추적대상 차량의 특징점 등록 및 추적, 끼어들기 위반차량 검지 등의 세 단계로 구성된다. 특징 추출 단계에서는 실시간 처리가 가능한 특징점 추출 알고리즘을 이용하여 입력 영상에서 특징점을 추출한다. 추출된 특징점들은 다시 추적대상 특징점을 선정하고 등록된 특징점을 정규화 된 교차 상관관계(normalized cross correlation:NCC)를 이용하여 추적한다. 마지막으로 추적된 특징점들의 정보를 이용하여 끼어들기 위반여부를 최종 검지한다. 제안한 시스템을 끼어들기 금지구간에서 취득한 영상을 사용하여 실험한 결과 정인식률 99.09%와 오류율 0.9%의 뛰어난 성능을 보였고 실시간처리가 가능한 초당 34.48프레임의 빠른 처리속도를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • When driving at night time environment, the whole body of transports does not visible to us. Due to lack of light conditions, there are only two options, which is clearly visible their taillights and break lights. To improve the recognition correctness of vehicle detection, we present an approach to vehicle detection and tracking using finding contour of the object on binary image at night time. Bilateral filtering is used to make more clearly on threshold part. To remove unexpected small noises used morphological opening. In verification stage, paired tail lights are tracked during their existence in the ROI. The accuracy of the test results for vehicle detection is about 93%.

  • The dynamic equation is built by the mathematical modelling. The modelling is composed of various components used for the automatic transmission of tracked vehicles. When the transmission is shifting, the shock occurs in the drivetrain. The transient torques affect the durability and reliability of the vehicle. The factor and design point are analyzed for the transmission.

  • Recently it is becoming more common to apply vehicle electronics(Vetronics) based on information technology to improve the operability of the combat vehicles. Although the vehicle electronics system has been gradually developed, it is hard not only to design the reliable system which is a built-in multi-function but also to analyze the fault failure in the state of on-vehicle when failures occur. Therefore, It is required the data logging system like a aircraft's black box for the combat vehicles to enhance the reliability. In this paper, we developed the multi data acquisition and analysis device which is acquiring real-time data such as communication data, video data and voice data available for checking operational status of system and managing history. The performance of device has been proved on the vehicle.

궤도차량을 위한 동특성 해석 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Dynamic Analysis Program for Tracked Vehicles)

  • A simulation program for vehicle dynamic analysis was developed. The Cartesisn coordinate system was used for translational motion and the Euler angle system was used for rotational motion. A three dimensional multi-wheeled vehicle model and equations of motion were derived. Also static equilibrium analysis was added for initial vehicle condition setting. The program user can describe the exact characteristics of suspension spring force and damping force in the user subroutine. A wheel-ground contact model which represents geometrical effect was developed. Two cases of simulation for 16 D.O.F. vehicle model were conducted to validate the developed program by comparing the simulation results with the experimental data.

SUV 차량의 전륜 및 후륜 조향 장치를 이용한 통합운동제어시스템 설계 (Development of Integrated Dynamics Control System of SUV Vehicle with Front and Rear Steering System)

  • In order to improve stability and controllability of SUV vehicle, Integrated Dynamics Control system with Steering system (IDCS) was developed. Eight degree of freedom vehicle model and front and rear steering system model were used to design IDCS system. It also employs Fuzzy logic control method to design integrate control system. The performance of IDCS was evaluated with two road conditions and several driving conditions. The result shows that SUV vehicle with IDCS tracked the reference yaw rate under all tested conditions. IDCS reduced the body slip angle also. It represents IDCS improves vehicle stability and steerability.
