해저철도터널(목포-제주간) 화재시 정량적 위험도 평가기법에 의한 피난연결통로 적정간격산정에 관한 연구 (The study on interval calculation of cross passage in undersea tunnel by quantitative risk assesment method)

  • 현재 목포-제주간 해저터널은 타당성 검토를 위한 기본계획 중에 있으며, 노선의 길이가 108 km인 고속여객 전용선으로 단면형태는 유로터널과 같은 서비스터널을 설치한 단선쌍굴터널로 검토되고 있다. 또한 교통량은 10량 1편성의 열차가 일일 76편/편도 운행하는 것으로 계획하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 터널의 피난연결통로의 적정 간격을 정량적 위험도 평가기법에 의해서 검토하는 것을 목표로 정량적 위험도 평가기법을 정립하였다. 또한 터널의 단면형태를 복선터널(Type 3), 쌍굴터널(Type 1) 및 복선터널을 격벽으로 분리하는 형태의 터널(Type 2)을 대상으로 단면형태별로 적정 피난연결통로 간격을 산정하였다. 본 연구결과, Type 2의 단면이 대피안전확보에 가장 효과적이며, 현행 국내 사회적 위험도 평가기준을 만족하기 위해서는 단면형태별로 350 m (Type 1), 400 m (Type 2), 1,500 m (Type 3)의 피난연결통로 간격이 요구되는 것으로 나타나고 있다.

Economic and Fast-track Rehabilitation of Concrete Pavements and Bridge Decks

  • The last 10 years have seen considerable growth in the use of proprietary and special repair cements for concrete pavements in the state of Oklahoma. Many of these products lend themselves to "fast track" construction techniques that allow reopening to traffic within 12 hours or less. These products achieve high early strengths by accelerating the Portland cement hydration process for both Type I and Type III cements. In this paper, the important features of a durable repair which include strength, compatibility and bond or adhesion are first discussed. Then the development, testing and field implementation of the aforementioned materials are discussed including the learning curve required to implement a repair system, not just install a new material. Some of the materials discussed, while expensive on a cost per unit basis, hold great promise for economical use on fast track project.

여자 500m 쇼트트랙 스피드 스케이팅의 스타트 기술분석 (Analysis of the Female 500m Sprint Starting Motion in Short Track Speed Skating)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify female 500m sprint start motion by the center of gravity position in short track speed skating. The center of gravity position ratio was divided into three type(type A front : 80%-back : 20%, type B front : 70%-back 30%, type C front: 50%-back : 50%). Three video cameras were used for 3D motion analysis with DLT method and the results were as follows: The elapsed time in starting motion was appeared that type B was the shortest and type A was the longest. It was appear that the stroke length of type A was longer than that type B and C during starting phase. This result was similar to displacement of center of gravity. It was appeared that skill type of center of gravity position ratio type B' ankle and knee joint angle were lower than that of type A and C. Observing these results it was conclusion that skill type B of center of gravity position ratio was more faster than that of type A and C. But it is important that these skill type needed to verifying more subjects.

Influence of shear bolt connections on modular precast steel-concrete composites for track support structures

  • Through extensive research, there exist a new type of connection between railway bridge girders and steel-concrete composite panels. In addition to conventional shear connectors, newly developed blind bolts have been recently adopted for retrofitting. However, the body of knowledge on their influence and application to railway structures has not been thoroughly investigated. This study has thus placed a particular emphasis on the application of blind bolts on the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a feasible alternative constituent of railway track upgrading. Finite element modeling has been used to simulate the behaviours of the precast steel-concrete panels with common types of bolt connection using commercially available package, ABAQUS. The steel-concrete composite track slabs have been designed in accordance with Australian Standards AS5100. These precast steel-concrete panels are then numerically retrofitted by three types of most practical bold connections: head studded shear connector, Ajax blind bolt and Lindapter hollow bolt. The influences of bolt connections on load and stress transfers and structural behaviour of the composite track slabs are highlighted in this paper. The numerical results exhibit that all three bolts can distribute stresses effectively and can be installed on the bridge girder. However, it is also found that Lindapter hollow bolts are superior in minimising structural responses of the composite track slabs to train loading.

  • Self servo track writing(SSTW)은 servo track writer(STW)를 이용하지 않고 hard disk drive의 내부 VCM을 이용하여 servo track을 기록하는 방식이다. SSTW는 이전 servo track을 상대적인 reference로 하여 기록하게 되므로 초기에 발생된 error와 외부의 disturbance의 영향으로 error는 급속하게 증가된다. 이것을 radial error propagation 이라 한다. 본 논문에서는 radial error propagation을 억제하기 위한 correction signal을 설계하고 servo writing 과정에서 발생하는 disturbance의 영향을 제거하기 위하여 disturbance observer(DOB)를 add-on type으로 구성하여 tracking 제어기를 설계하였다. 또한 DOB를 적용한 경우와 유사한 gain margin, phase margin과 sensitivity function을 갖는 제어기를 설계하여 그 성능을 비교하였다. 제안된 방식은 radial error propagation을 억제 하였을 뿐만 아니라 disturbance의 최소화하여 쓰여진 track의 DC track spacing과 AC track Squeeze가 개선된 것을 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

컨테이너박스용 용접선 추적거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Seam Tracking Behavior for container box's welding)

  • The probe type sensor using strain gauges was used to track a container box's seam in this paper. A strain gauge has a property which the specific resistance is changed by varying of the sectional area and length when tensile and compressive stresses are generated at the strain gauge. We designed the automatic seam tracking device by attaching the probe type strain gauge sensor, motor driving slide, encorder to check the moving distance and interface card connected MPU upside the speed controllable carriage. The folded work piece for a container box is made to examine whether the device can track the seam automatically or not. Seam tracking experiments were done by changing the carriage moving speed at 300. 400. 500. 600[mm/min] each as the voltage of side track was 2.5[V]. We compared and analyzed the sampling data which is obtained by output voltage of strain gauge sensor and rotary encorder pulse every 100 [m/s]. The welding experiments were performed by using $CO_2$ welding machine about the carriage moving speed that has good seam tracking condition in the seam tracking experiments above. And we compared the seam tracking status.

경전철/모노레일의 ATP/ATO를 위한 Tag in-Tag out 설계 (Design of Tag in-Tag out for ATP/ATO in the Light Rail and Monorail)

  • We designed a track circuit of Tag in-tag out type that can be used for light rails and monorails. This method is called RFID-Tag and it literally uses RFID-Tag and replaces a fixed track circuit and implements a moving block. The distance between RFID-Tags is set to the length of a train and thus a train is always in contact with one of the tags. A train runs in RFID-Tag in -RFID-Tag out type at all times and the distance between trains can be precisely controlled through the application of a moving block combined with the basic principle of a fixed block, which enables the continuous speed control and enhances the satisfaction of passengers. When constructing a track circuit using RFID-Tag the Tag in-tag out brings us the cost reduction and is more economical than the existing fixed track circuit in that sense and easy for installation and maintenance. The wireless communication between onboard and wayside makes the continuous control possible and can improve the control capacity of ATP/ATO by the implementation of a moving block on top of a fixed one.

고속철도 궤도 종류에 따른 허용침하량 분석 (Analysis of Allowable Settlement on Tracks of High Speed Railway)

  • 본 연구에서는 고속철도 궤도의 종류에 따른 허용침하량 분포 특성을 분석하기 위하여, 기존 경부 고속철도에 사용되었던 자갈도상 궤도와 시공예정인 콘크리트 궤도의 대표단면 및 지반 물성치를 바탕으로 철도 운행 시 레일상부에서 열차하중에 의해 발생되는 침하량을 3차원수치해석을 통해 분석하였다. 특히 콘크리트궤도의 경우에는 원지반의 물성 변화에 따른 침하량 결과를 토대로 말뚝지지전면기초(pile raft foundation) 보강 시 침하 감소 효과를 분석 정리하였다. 본 연구결과, 원지반이 점성토에서는 콘크리트 궤도와 자갈도상 궤도의 사용에 따라 침하량의 차이가 컸으나, 사질토 지반의 경우는 궤도별 침하량 차이가 상대적으로 작게 나타났다. 또한 콘크리트 궤도 단면의 침하량 저감을 위한 말뚝 전면기초 시공의 경우, 무보강 단면의 해석결과보다 지지력이 확보되어 침하량 감소가 나타났으며, 말뚝의 길이가 증가될수록 침하량 감소 효과가 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 하중형태의 경우는 기존 설계에 사용되었던 객차 하중에 의한 침하량보다 기관차 하중에 의한 침하량이 더 크게 발생하여 기관차 하중을 통한 궤도 설계를 할 경우 좀 더 안전측 설계가 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다.

도시철도 영업운행열차 내 소음에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Noise Characteristics in the Running Train of the Urban Railway)

  • The SeoulMerto, operating subway line No.$1{\sim}4$, was constructed in the metropolitan Seoul with the highest population. When it was built, the design was challenged to sharp curved tracks considering the protection of buildings, cultural assets, the connection to ground roads and rivers as well as to elevated railway in some parts. Lots of residential apartments and business complex have gradually increased in the area around subway stations and railway lines according to the urban development. Consequently, Requirements of better quality of life and comfortable environment caused the citizen complain for the noise. It has become one of serious social issues. In this paper, Noise level was analyzed using noise map measured in the running train of all routes. The analysis on the noise level was conducted according to railway type, track components type, seasonal type, retirement degree of the vehicle and subway station. Especially, Noise characteristics were analyzed by noise level data measured in the inside and outside of the train with geometry types of the concrete track. This study will contribute fundamental data for the "The Development of Sound-Absorbing Block on Concrete Track" promoted on The National R&D Project.

조석-해일 비선형성과 관련된 태풍-해일 특성 (Typhoon-surge Characteristics in Relation with the Tide-surge Interaction)

  • 태풍발생시기의 조석-해일 비선형 특성을 분석하였다. Chi-square test를 통한 정량적 해석결과 목포를 비롯한 서남해안 지역에서 비선형성이 가장 우세하였고 서해안과 남동해안에서는 뚜렷하게 나타나지는 않고 있다. 태풍-해일 발생패턴을 첨두형과 지속형으로 구분하여 해석하였는데 조석-해일 비선형성은 지속형에서 다소 높게 나타나는 것으로 확인되고 있다. 서해안의 경우 저조시 해일발생빈도가 높지 않게 나타나는 이유는 남해안경로 태풍에 의한 음해일 발생이 많은 것과 무관치 않은 것으로 보인다. 그러나 서해안경로 태풍에 대해서는 태풍통과 이후 저조시에 최대해일고가 발생하는 조석-해일 비선형효과가 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 남동해안의 경우에는 첨두형 태풍이 잦아 비선형효과에 의한 저조시 해일발생빈도가 낮은 것으로 분석되고 있다. 이에 따라 남해안경로 태풍의 경우 통과인근지역에서는 고조시에도 대규모 해일발생이 가능하므로 태풍-해일에 의한 범람 위험도가 매우 높은 것으로 판단된다.
